Jesus said "when these things take place" in Matthew Ch 24, Jesus said these are just the beginning of the birth pangs. So we have much more to go before the actual tribulation begins...I think anyway.

The sudden loss of millions of bees in the Niagara region up to 90 per cent in some commercial colonies has prompted Ontario beekeepers to investigate.

Mysterious disappearance of millions of bees in the U.S., so unusual that it has spawned a new phrase "Colony Collapse Disorder."

"About 80 or 90 per cent of the beekeepers in the Niagara region have had substantial losses,"
---BeeHive on 4/28/07

"This number is unparalleled. A typical winter loss is between 10 and 20 per cent."
However, the U.S. has now received reports from 24 states citing widespread losses. And more worrisome is the unexplained disappearance of the adult bees, a report to Congress two weeks ago stated.

It's as if the bees flew away and never came back, highly uncharacteristic behaviour, the report by U.S. agriculture.

It takes one colony of honey bees, around 30,000 bees to pollinate an acre of fruit trees.

The value of bees pollinating fruit, vegetables and legumes is 10 times the value of honey produced.

A colony of honey bees in early spring has 10,000 to 15,000 bees.
---BeeHive on 4/28/07

The average life of a honey bee during the working season is about six weeks. A worker bee gathers in her entire life less than one gram of honey.

Bees fly the equivalent of more than twice around the world to gather a kilo of honey.

A honey bee flies up to 24 km/h and its wings beat 200 times per second.

Pray for the bees.

We are in the end times now. We are closer today as we were yesterday. We are so close it is scary because only a few will be chosen.

Judit4846, The scripture you are quoting does not equate Gentiles with Jews. A true Jew gets praise from God, not from what he does outwardly, but inwardly. Read your scripture in context with the rest of the chapter, back up to verse 17. Paul is trying to correct the Jew for his outward arrogance and hypocracy. Remember, the Jews and Gentiles are still distinct. Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles (Rom. 11:13; Gal. 2:7-9; 2 Tim. 1:11)

All the prophecies of the Bible prior to Jesus' second coming have been fulfilled. In the words of Billy Graham "If Jesus doesn't come soon, He's going to have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah."

james said it be. be not just readers of the word but doers. No fruit in your life means you ain,t doing what you read.yes we are so caught up in the world that I believe the end is very near.

No matter what you believe about the end or when, there is one comment here that's undeniably, indisputably true.
Rebecca D. said it:
We are closer today than we were yesterday.

Todays Christians are weak as a whole than anytime in history caused by Christians leaders repeating the same dozen or so verses, hardly scratching the surface of the Word of God, and seldom, if ever, do they penetrate to the depths of Gods Word. They spend a whole month preaching the birth of Christ or a whole month of his dying and ascension. Reading the Bible from beginning to end, as you would a novel, lays a strong foundation in having a relationship with God.

There is nothing new under the sun. The Christians during this tribulation will not only be needing the strong armor of God (by reading the entire Bible) but the blood of the Lamb much like the Israelites painted the blood of the lamb on the door posts of their homes to protect themselves from the plagues. Reading the Bible is like developing a friendship, the more you read, the stronger your relationship with God becomes.
---Steven on 8/16/06

There isnt a pre-trib. Why are todays Christians so vain to think that they are any different than any other Christian in the history of man and to think that they will escape the tribulation of the end times. We are all in this together both the dead and the living. God didnt rapture Noah from the floods, but he provided an escape on Earth. Neither did He provide an escape for the Prophets, the Apostles, nor the Israelites in Egypt during the plagues.
---Steven on 8/16/06

tofurabby. See (Romans 2:26-30) 28A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God.
---Judit4846 on 8/16/06

There isn't one prophecy left to be fulfilled before Jesus returns for his bride.
---Terry on 8/16/06

Oh yes, Israel is still God's chosen people. If you're not a Jew, then you're a Gentile. Simple. Israel, God's chosen people, did not magically turn into a concept that covers everyone who believes in Christ. I dont know how people come up with this stuff.
There is no pre-trib rapture is a completely accurate statement... for non believers. Christians, however, will be caught up together to meet the Lord in the clouds before the hour of temptation.

Jack, unless the Israelites are saved and born again, they will go to hell with all the rest who are not saved. They do not even believe Jesus has come yet so how can they have faith in Him?
---shira on 8/16/06

Jack, we must not forget the covenant that God made with the decendants of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, that would be the Jewish people(Israel). Remember Jack? He promised that He would bring them back, notice how many Jewish people are flocking to Israel? It's God that is drawing them there, everything will go as God said. --Mrs. Morgan.

**)which ends at the Rapture. We are the Rapture generation since Israel became a nation in 1948**

1. No such thing as a pre-trib rapture.

2. That patch of real estate in the Middle East is NOT the Israel of God. The true Israel is the Church; the true Israelites are the spiritual children of Abraham through faith in Jesus Christ.
---Jack on 8/15/06

Morgan; I'm not scared for myself, for I know what lies ahead for me. but I am scared for the people that are lost without Jesus in their hearts. Hell is a scary place and I don't want anyone to go there. but some will. Like I said many are called and a few will be chosen.

Rebecca_D , we don't have to be scared as long as we Abide in God's Truth, everything will be fine. --Mrs. Morgan

we definitely are in the last days..just take a look around you today, so much violence, so much smut on tv, people just about worship food. Its a fat generation, sports becoming a god too, most kids today have no respect for others, offenders are getting of scotch free or light sentences..killing a norm in the world..people lovers of money and of themselvess...gayism accepted as a norm..exactly what Gomorrah and the other place were and yes, I am looking forward to seeing my Savior...
---jana on 8/15/06

Yes! That's why we all need to be busy telling everyone about the good news of Jesus Christ!
---Susie on 8/14/06

Do NOT concern yourself with frivolous conspiracies and debates. Jesus says not to worry about or partake in such frivolities. These take your time away from what really matter -- feeding the poor, quenching their thirst, clothing them, comforting them, looking after them when they are sick, and visit them in prisons. Do all of this in the glory of God and look forward to The Blessed Hope as we live through the these endtimes. So, what are YOU going to DO?
---Steven on 8/14/06

We beyond the start but not yet to the middle maybe of horrendous things that are yet to happen. Mankind will see much suffering the full the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

According to St. Peter's inspired interpretation of the prophecy of Joel, we've been in the Last Days since Pentecost 29 AD (or thereabouts).
