Nations Not Heard The Gospel

The bible tells us the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Does anyone know how many nations have still not heard the gospel and how many new language translations of scripture are in process of being produced?

Sorry I'm a few years late. The gospel of grace HAS been preached to every nation on earth. It would be impossible for the gospel to be preached to every human on earth. There needs to be a testimony of the gospel of the kingdom in every nation! The gospel of the kingdom, which includes the gospel of grace (Acts 20:24), brings people not only into Gods salvation but also into the kingdom of the heavens (Rev. 1:9). The gospel of grace emphasizes forgiveness of sin, Gods redemption, and eternal life, whereas the gospel of the kingdom emphasizes the heavenly ruling of God and the authority of the Lord. This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole earth for a testimony to all the nations before the end of this age.

Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Is-ra-EL.
So the gospel of the kingdom goes to the Nation of Israel. thanks

Well....they won't be known now by that name....they have a new name. They were divorced remember?
You might find them with laws in their heart by sign,Heb 8:10 and calling themselves Christians.

Est 8:17 And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews, for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.
Hmm.. maybe not just Judah and Benjamin.

Kingdom: Royalty/king/queen/ruling/etc
To Divorced Nations of Is-ra-EL. A new marriage possible!

Israel: Is-ra-EL= Ruling with GOD.

Matthew 15:24
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Is-ra-EL.

Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, had twelve gates,at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Hmmmm... hireling wolves teach that jews are all Israel. Where will they run when these 12 show.

The blog question says the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached

Any body know what the gospel of the kingdom is and where it can be found in the NT

we cant say that there is (x) amount of people who "we" Christians still have to share the Gospel to. There are cases all over the world where missionaries have gone and found that God him self just like in the old testament has revealed himself to the native people there and they are brothers in Christ already. If God wants to he can to the same to every person in the world in one second and know what their choice would be. He could do this today tomorrow next week in a minute...we have to be ready at all times. God is a God of miracles then. now and forever. God bless you all

The Bible says in John 1:9... In speaking of Jesus Christ-"That was the true Light, which lighteth "every man" that cometh into the world." Beyond that I say "The secret things belong unto the LORD our God." (Deuteronomy 29:29(a) DGL

Alan and Linda,
I couldn't find in the bible where it says that we will be judged on our knowledge. However, the bible says in Ephesians 3 v. 19 to know the Love of Christ which passes knowledge: that we may be filled with ALL the fuliness of God. God Bless You!

There are 2241 languages that have no scriptures in their language. In the next 12 years some scriptures for each of these languages will be started. Bear in mind that some people groups have no written language, so the last bit will take longer that those with indigenous translators. Check out Wycliff Bible Translators for more info.

I think all but a few have heard or had opportunity to hear the gospel? Even if not personally they had an opportunity one time or another and have chosen to not hear the message. Just recall the prophecy that states that Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the gentiles until the times of the gentiles is over. In 1967 as a result of the six day war Israel captured Jerusalem. I think the end is near, if not our generation, our children's.

I was asking the same question...from what I unterstand as of 1990 according to the christian almanac all 251 nations have established christian churches, and the gospel is bieng preached literally worldwide

Alan & Rebecca, Romans 2:6. "If then the uncircumcised (non-member) keep the righteous acts of the law, be not counted the uncircumcision of him towards circumcision?" Romans 2:26-29.

.f.f., The Israelites like the heathen forgot God, "the fool has said in his heart, No God. They are all gone aside, none that does good, no, not one." Psalm 14;53; Romans 3:1,9-18,21-24; Romans 1:28. "Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you." Psalm 119:11."My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Hosea 4:1-11."Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak to your shame." I Corinthians 15:34.

Alan and Linda, there is a verse (which I cannot find, although I have been searching for it for quite some time) which says that people will be judged according to their knowledge, or something like that. Alan I think you and I are referring to the same verse. I hope someone can tell us where it is.

We must compile what the whole Bible has to say about a particular subject when referring to it. As in this subject, Jesus said that the disciples will not finish preaching the gospel into every city before he comes back again. Matthew 10:23.

Linda ... No, I don't think that is what I was looking for. It was something on the lines that those who have not heard the Gospel will be judged according to the light that they have received.
---alan8869_of_UK on 9/16/06

pkay if you are correct in saying that those words mean that 'every person' will hear the gospel then I think we should all just forget about living in the end times. In the U.K. many (and I really mean MANY) have not heard the gospel. Susie says the same about U.S. and I'm sure others will say the same about their countries. If every individiual is to hear and have the opportunity to accept or reject the gospel of Jesus Christ we are nowhere near the 'end-times'.

Well, when it says the gospel wll be preached to all nations it obviously means the people in those nations should hear it. And to answer your Q again YES some nations are yet to hear the gospel. If one percent of China has heard about Jesus, you cant say the nation of China has heard the gospel can you??
---pkay on 9/15/06

The bible says that the kingdom shall be preached 'to all nations'. It does not say that every individual person in those nations will hear it. My question was asking if there are any countries/nations who are still totally unaware of God's existence and Jesus' sacrifice for mankind. A small boy came singing 'carols' at my door last Christmas. He knew nothing about Jesus and did not know what a real Christmas carol was. There are people like this in every town but this was not what I meant.

Rebecca and Alan, could you be looking for Romans 2:12-16?
---Linda32708 on 9/10/06

Rebecca ... I was thinking about that passage the other day, and rtying to track it down. If you find it, post it here, please! It could perhaps quieten a lot of the bitter doctrinal dispute, and condemnation that we see here.

The bible tells us that there will be people whom have not yet heard of Jesus Christ. And he will judge those by looking at their heart, that is why God gave us a conscience. I'm not sure where it is in the bible, but I will search it and get back to you on this.
---Rebecca_D on 9/8/06

If anyone has not heard the gospel, its because they haven't had the chance. There are missionaries all over china and the muslim world. You would loose your head if you tried to preach the gospel in a muslim country. They don't want to hear anything about God or Jesus Christ. There are missionaries in all countries.
---shira_9639 on 9/8/06

There are close to a billion muslims who have to hear the gospel. Then there is China, India, Japan where some people have never heard the name Jesus. There is a lot of work to do brethren.
