It is unfair to ask you this, bearing in mind the implications, but are you sure you know both sides of the story?

By realizing that she's been taken captive by the Devil to do HIS WILL. (2 Timothy 2:24-26)
That's the thing about the devil, if you've ever seen someone handle a snake as soon as they grab the snake's head it wraps around their arm. Your anger is just such a viper.
The difference between God and the Devil is the Devil posesses us while God allows us to posess him. Your anger is from your judgement; declare her not guilty in your heart.

There might be your brother's story, her story and the truth. Have you found out the truth? If not your thoughts just remain that, YOUR THOUGHTS. Pray for them both and ask God for guidance.

Thanks Oh mighty correcter of the brethren.

JACK, you need to stop being a mocker, there's no need to point out every little mistake. I'm surprized I'm the only one telling you this, and I'm ready, last time I disagreed with you I went down 12 points on the helpful bloggers thing. Hhhhmmmm.

** It is unfair to ask you this, bearing in mind the implications, but are you sure you know both sides of the story?**
Live_Wire is talking about himself and his own attitude towards his ex-sister-in-law, which is all he can do anything about. (Change genders of pronouns if appropriate.)
Live_Wire is taking the right attitude in this situation.

When I have trouble with this, something that has never failed me, is to pray and ask God what I should do FOR that person. Sometimes He'll tell me to give them a compliment, other times it's a card, a gift, or a favor. Sometimes I do it anonymously, other times it's openly. I believe God is our example, in that while we were sinners HE GAVE His Son. There's just something about giving. It causes unforgiveness and bitterness to melt away.

Pray for her.

Forgive him and pray for him, and keep doing it till the negative thoughts are replaced with ones of love.

The only thing you can do is to pray for God's blessings on her, and ask Him to deliver you from revenge in your heart.

It'll be like peeling an onion, I promise you.

(Once more the moderator gives a misleading title for a blog. It should have read "ex-sister-in-law," not "ex-wife.")
