Churches Coming Together

Paul wrote that the divisions in the churches should be avoided. Is it possible for all the denominations to be united today?

Moderator - Yes, it will happen as an end-time apostate church.

The Man - made relig - org's churches are coming together for the 1 world church.

The One God Jesus name Church of The Living God will prob go underground.

Separation.

It is beginning to take place, those who are jumping into the hot grease, willingly, into the apostate church.

God's message is a sobering one, it is from God's heart. Deut 32:46-47

God says to set your minds and hearts on His words, for they are not an empty and worthless trifle for you,
it is your very life. Your very life is at stake.

The churches, they are coming together under the leadership of false prophets and false teachers.

But for those who will not fall, God gives us triumph for tragedy.
God's counsel is proving to be warlike for the cause of truth, shielding all who will accept it.
---Michelle on 2/6/08

There is a strong spiritual warfare against God's message and God's word.

As for me, I'm standing in the fire lookout with my binoculars, watching for the storm clouds that are gathering on the horizon.
An average citizen, a soldier in the army of the Lord.

I am not attempting to teach end time prophecy, and I don't have any titles.
The only message I have is God's word to communicate to the Body of Christ.

The Holy Spirit is moving me to tell you to take out all of the stops, with an urgency to seek the Lord's face.

Reach back to Jesus Christ, until you are abounding in His grace and His might.
Dig deep and regain what strength you have left, come out of emergent humanism while you can.

"Moderator - Yes, it will happen as an end-time apostate church."

Yes, Moderator, it will happen.

God loves people, but He abhors the sin they are involved in.

His Word warns us of the Apostate One World Church. They like Jesus but can't stand the Church, or biblical words like heresy, apostate, blasphemy. They are redefining, repainting God's Word to suit them.
They are jumping out of God's spoon of protection into the hot grease.
Before it's over, they will have jumped out of the frying pan into the fire.
---Michelle on 2/6/08

God's message is changing for the emergent One World Church. They've taken out, "Judgment is sure".

"This is that", Peter said, "I will pour out of My Spirit upon ALL MANKIND, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. Acts 2:16-17

Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

We are all guilty of squabbling and Jesus told His disciples to stop doing this when they wre arguing who was the greatest.
The N.T. compares the Church to the human body with different parts. They must work together otherwise the body doesn't work properly. One is so much stronger than many. We all have an obligation, as Christians, to make this happen.
---Ed on 4/18/07

Donna, I hate to disagree with you, but the church I belong to is universal throughout the world. The same teachings of Jesus Christ, same organization, same doctrines taught in over a million congregations. I can attend church here, fly to Indonesia and receive the next lesson in Sunday School, then fly to Britian and get the next, covering every country in the world. Why, because truth is truth and false doctrines have no place in the church of Jesus Christ. His gospel cannot be corrupted by man.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all comein the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

cont'd. Then what does scripture say? 1Pet. 2:9 "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculair people..." 1John2:15 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the World..."2Tim.3:1-5"...from such turn away"
and (not room here but pls read)1Tim.6:1-7. Then 2Cor.6:17"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."

Here we go, lets modify our Bibles so they allow all doctrine. Lets join a world council to allow rites and rituals so as to not offend. Then lets omit any parts of our traditions of scripture and join modern ways of singing, study, and prayer. We should also study toward a leader to guide us all to this common goal in unity. We could call ourselves the United Order of the World Council of Churces... The catch? What denom. leader has to lead (by church law)?cont'd.
---mikefl on 9/16/06

Huh. I don't believe I'll fall in the ditch or off the cliff with Apostate Church. To compromise biblical truth to unify with opposing group. To become 'Christ-like' and accommodate those who reject the Word of God. A universal brotherhood - fraudently promoting Christian unity.
---Rachel on 9/14/06

Didn't you folks ever hear the saying, "If you find the perfect church, don't join it because then it won't be perfect anymore?" LOL
I have yet to see a church, and I've been to several, united, in one accord, all believing the same thing, all worshipping Father God in Spirit and Truth. This will only happen in the end times (I think).

If God wants us to, He will make sure we will.God has only one church. He says in John10:16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold, them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be ONE FOLD, and one shepherd. Rev14;12 Here is the patience of the saints, here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.Rev19:8,9,10.

It would truly be a miracle if if all denominations were united. Our church is non denominational so there would still be division in the church.LOL. Many Christians don't even go to church so that makes the chance even slimmer. Nevertheless, there is only one body. At least we have that in unity.
---john on 9/14/06

The unity of the faith is not unity for the sake of unity. The unity of "the" (definitive article) faith is the revelation of Jesus Christ in His body. In the mind of God, there is only one faith and that is "the" faith that is rooted and grounded in the person of Christ and the provision of the cross.

Mike ... What you say seems to be in conflict with what Paul said in Ephesians 4:13 "Till we all come in the unity of the faith"
Are you suggesting that Paul was in error in referring to that future time?
---alan8869_of_UK on 9/13/06

We are commanded to be separate from idolaters and the sinful assemblers. For not all churches are holy, and the holy will not unite with the unholy. Please read II Corinthians 6:14-18; Psalm 1:1.

Over 4000 New Age philosophies, they all blend together (harmony) in complete unity. All inclusive, all together, all united.
---R.A. on 9/13/06

Paul also warned about false teachers in the Church. I can't imagine he meant we are to compromise with that, just for the sale of getting along. Jesus said He didn't come to bring peace but a sword.
Read 2nd Timothy Ch 3. No compromise there, just Beware!!

Alan, how can there be unity on church, when we can't agree on the basic doctrines. Take a look at the latest bog on Mary, approaching if not passed the 500 entries.
What do we take as the basic measure of the churtch? The RCC lies, which is what they want? The orthodox, which is better, but still in error?
---mike8384 on 9/13/06

greetings, sectarianism is unavoidable when considering that revelation is also unavoidable thus when tradition becomes the first walk of the mile revelation thereafter will embrace you for the second mile.there are multiple problems and most are a result of divisions of free thinkers not free thinking.when one must conform to anothers philosophy it becomes uniformity not unity.the elastic is stretched and frayed and soon traditions of men will break
---earl on 9/12/06

Why so, Moderator, if the church would be going back to what Paul said it should be, undivided?

Moderator - Today, the church is in an apostate condition and the scriptures tell us the coming together at this point will be the end-time apostate church movement. Christians will never join that movement.
---alan8869_of_UK on 9/12/06

Are you talking about the unity of the churches in the end time? That will happen.

Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Sounds to me like Father God's intention is for the whole body to come in the unity of the faith, with "the faith" being Christ and Him crucified.
