The Thankful Blog

I wanted to post a blog that expresses my love and thankfulness to all of you. I find all of you helpful, thank you. May the Love of Christ continue to grow in all of us, may we accept one another as our Lord accepted us, may we continue to press on to maturity.

Yes, I am just so thankful that Jesus Christ is now in my life. Thank you Jesus for the cross.++

Ditto "Always on." I have been on CN for years and I'm always learning something new.
It also pushes me to spend more time in my bible.
God bless everyone here, even the Mods who cut some of my blogs to shreads! :-)

Amen, Ryan!
I have found your posts very thought provoking and, therefore, always look forward to your topics and your comments. Even when I disagree, you almost make me think. I appreciate you and everyone here at ChristiaNet for a great online experience. May God bless you all beyond measure.

This is Thanksgiving Day. Many are the blessings God's provided for my family. May He rejoice as He hears the multitude of "thanks" unto Him today for all He is & does for His people. To one who may read this & not know Jesus in this way, 1. confess you are a sinner (have not met the standards of a Holy God. 2. repent(turn away from your sin)3. receive Jesus as the payment for your sin. (God is Holy so we need to come through Jesus to Him)4. GIVE THANKS TO GOD for you are now one of His own!

I've posted this elsewhere, but I am still thankful for all the miracles that came our way after hurricane Rita...A place to go with our cats, a hot food station, help from strangers, Insurance help, help from family with $, and feeling God was with us all the way.

I also thank God for all the people that express themselves here. Even when I disagree it makes me think and iron sharpens iron. It is good to see as Christians that we can agree to disagree even but yet are thankful for each view and comment.

'Thanksgiving' will soon be here. A homeless man in my neck of the woods died of heart failure. He dropped dead on the streets of downtown. He was 46 years old, a story teller with a good memory for faces. He was known as 'Walker John'.

He shuffled along with his metal walker that was slung with plastic grocery bags and his few possessions. He spent much of the day at the library. He slept where he could, he just curled up where it was warm. He was robbed and someone stole his false teeth.
---R.A. on 11/6/06

He fell on the ice and broke his hip. He had several emergency hospital calls in the last few years. His broken glasses were put back together with layers of duct tape. People like 'Walker John' aren't different than the rest of us. He always wanted his ashes scattered in the mountains. That request will be accomplished this spring.

I am thankful that God continues to have faith in me and love me, even when I fail. I'm thankful that He is protecting my son stationed in Iraq. And I'm thankful that he's given me a heart filled with love.

I am thankful for all things, starting with the BLOOD of JESUS.

I'm thankful for God's Grace(His Saving Truth), and that my name has not been blotted out of the Book of Life. I'm thankful that the Holy Spirit has baptised me, speaks through me every day, and encourages me, helps and edifies me, He really is empowering, I love His Personality(which is in perfect harmony with God the Father, and God the Son's personality). I'm thankful that God delivered me of a congential heart condition, and that my kids are healthy, have food , clothing , and shelter.

I have so many things to be thankful for. The love of the Lord and what He has done for me in my life and the opportunity to serve Him--my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren--I am alive--my Christian friends--ChristiaNet and the list goes on and on. God Bless each and everyone of you.

I praise God and give Him all the glory that every day I have victory in Jesus. Jesus conquered the world, the flesh and the devil on the Cross and because I am in Christ I receive His victory by faith.

I praise God for the good response to His Word at the women's retreat that involved my friend Ann this weekend. She was the speaker for the sessions. Many women were revived by the Word of God. I give thanks to God for the need He has met with my daughter and grandson. He truly meant it when He said to cast all your care upon Him for He cares for you. I Pet.5:7

Amen Ryan. I am thankful for the lives of my 10 children and that the Lord has blessed them with good health. I just saw the mother of a young man Kyle, a friend of my son Nate. Kyle was killed in a car accident, and another mom I know just lost her son to drug overdose last week. How blessed we are but don't realize it sometimes until tradgedy strikes. We are to have thankful hearts....God is so good to us.

I am suprised, only 7 replies on what people are thankful for. The saying is true. People are never satisified. I am thankful that God brought me out of my kidney surgery in May and I'm doing fine. I may be having trouble with a female problem, but thank God I'm on the winning side.
---Rebecca_D on 10/1/06

Barb: Praise the Lord for your son's surgery outcome.
I am thankful for the love the Lord has bestowed on us which is unconditional. I am also grateful that He showed me that love throughout my surgery, and that so many friends and family members came to call, visit and send cards and flowers. God is good, ALL THE TIME. All the time, GOD IS GOOD.

I have great thankfulness for all those who volenteered today to put a roof on a house and dedicate for the service of God.
---Lynn on 9/16/06

WOW, this is bleak! I just KNOW many of you have things to be thankful for! Post them and encourage the rest of us!
God bless us all!

Early Christians often travel very long distances to preach the gospel and discuss theology with each other. Thank God for this web site, Ryan, and everyone that has posted.

PRAISE GOD! I heard from my son today, who is 3000 miles away! He had his surgery and the growth was benign! He will be checked periodically, but his Dr. feels secure that it won't grow back.
Thanks everyone for your prayers!
