The Gospel Of The Holy Twelve

Can anyone explain what is meant by "The Gospel of the Holy Twelve"? It's a term used on another blog, but no-one noticed my question asking what it is!

I agree with the following,
"On the basis of the one quote I saw from it, it's clearly one of those spurious pseudogospels."

Yes the Apostles. Eph.3 v 5.
Beginning with Apostle Peter. He delivered the God given salvation message according to mark 16 v 16, Acts 2 v's 37 - 41 which Fulfills Matt.28 v's 19 - 20 to the Jewish people First on the day of Pentecost. The other 11 received & ministered to others The Very Same.

Alan I have been told that the word come from another word 'googol' which is the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. I guess the connection is because of the huge amount of entries that can be found on google. Prior to being told that I thought it was connected with the word goggle (which we used, when I was a child, to mean to keep looking at something - staring) and, of course 'goggles' are something you wear over your eyes. Perhaps others know better.

It is the Good Speech or Good Message of Jesus delivered by the 12 Apostles in the New Testament.

Alan, because you seem to enjoy it. You web log every day (blog). You google because you want to know what the weather will be. We're all on here blogging away while we should be mowing the lawn, washing the car, and shampooing the carpet. But here we are,
Alan, visiting, sharing, nipping at each other's heels, showing our teeth. We're hooked.

RA ... I am still puzzled
Why web log in the first place
Why google
---alan8869_of_UK on 9/19/06

Google - patented process. Scans web pages to find instances of keywords you enter.

I believe web log was shortened to blog.

M.P. I had already googled before you suggested it, although not before I posted the question!
Actually, it is not me that suggests that people google (at least I only do so very occasionaly. Usually, I sit here & wonder about something until someone else says "Do a google"
PS ... Where did they get the name "google"? Also why are they "blogs"?

I did a google search using these same words and there is quite a lot there. Alan, why don't you do the same? I'm surprised that you havn't already as you often recommend google to others.
---M.P. on 9/17/06

I should have looked it up on the web, before I asked !!
This is the same as the Gospel of the Nazarenes which claim to be older and fuller than our 4 gospels.
It's quite interesting.
One of its themes is apparently that we can all become gods.

Alan, it's a text allegedly discovered in a buddhist temple in the 1800's (red flag?). It purports to offer information on Jesus' ministry other than what's in the bible. In it is a flattering letter supposedly from Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar detailing a meeting between Pilate and Christ. It's been said the letter is at the Library of Congress in Washington, but all I've been able to find is that the book is at the Congressional Library which contains this supposed letter.

Alan; I've never heard the term but gospel means "good news" and the "Holy Twelve " would likely refer to the 12 apostles. NO ??
