There are 2 things we must have continually to be saved. HIS Forgiveness (death)..and HIS LIFE. (resurrection)... As saved christians we will always have both.

I have escaped HELL. I have been delivered from God's wrath on Judgment Day. I am forgiven of my sins past, present and future. Must continuously ask God for forgiveness by His blood, because I still do sin, and will till the day that He comes and gets me. I do not have to worry I am forgiven by His blood as long as I keep my eyes on Him and I stay in prayer.>>Father forgive me of all of my sins and those I know nothing about. In Jesus name. AMEN.++

Salvation is my choosing to be rescued by God from my previously willful self-destructive lifestyle.

Jesus is Salvation.

Salvation is God the Fathers provision for my deliverance from the enslavement to & penalty of sin. Worked out by the finished work of my Anointed Savior, through the reconciling atonement of His sacrifice, the cleansing power of His blood & the healing endowment of His Spirit.

Salvation means that I have been rescued from hell, death and destruction. I used to belong to the devil and on my way to hell. Now I belong to the Lord Jesus Christ - He has purchased me with His Blood shed on the Cross and He has given me eternal life.

Salvation, is GOD, Plan of Redemption to Bring Man back into Right Relationship with HIM! We are called out of Darkness, into the Marvelous LIGHT of GOD, Through CHRIST JESUS! We are only in the FAMILY thorough CHRIST JESUS, at the Name of JESUS every Knee shall Bow and Tongue Confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD to the GLORY of GOD!

Thanks Mima. That's the "Way" (Jn. 14:6) I see it. :-)

Salvation to me means that Jesus shed his blood on the cross for my sins and I now have access to God through Jesus and I am saved from the wrath of God.

Salvation is God's Grace when he sent his Son to redeem me. ALL....I have to do is repent, in need of forgiveness and turn from sin,(Rom. 3:23) call upon Jesus to save me from Hell's eternal punishment. Rom. 10:9-10, Romans 5:8
Heaven's a place without sin. NO SIN ALLOWED. I must call on the ONLY one who can permanently pay my sin debt. The Perfect Son of God, Jesus Christ..ALONE....plus nothing. Eph. 2:8,9. After salvation, apply verse 10 to worship and serve God..and gain rewards for eternity.

Phl 2:12...we are to workout our own salvation with fear and trembling! Thus; When we come to Christ we are washed, cleansed from sin. We must be born again. Then we start killing self, overcoming as we grow in the Holy Spirit of Christ. Running the race. Working on overcoming the nature of man and putting on the nature of God. This is our work, Jam 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Salvation is what is offered by the Father through the Son and matured in the Spirit for the hope of our soul to spend eternity with God.

Leon that is a great description of salvation.
---mima on 10/16/06

Salvation comes from the grk. word soteria which means "deliverance, preservation, safety, salvation, prosperity".
Salvation is 3-fold: past(Romans 10:9); present(Philippians 2:13; John 10:10); future(when we're with the Lord).
