I believe that we are living on the edge of Eternity, and we should always be ready for the Rapture. Personally, I am looking forward to living with Christ forever. Amen!

Christ told us that no man knows the day or the time (Matt 24:36).

The Apostle Paul did say:
Rom 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Can anyone argue with that?

Thank you Michelle>>>I did a little reading. Lev. 26: The plagues will intensify according to your sins. Wild beasts would destroy both cattle and children. If disobedience continues Death to some by foreign swords, pestilence within population centers, defeat by their enemies, and near starvation. If disobedience after all this, starvation so severe that cannibalism would result. Large scale death would ensue, and cities would be destroyed.

There will be those who say God doesn't deal in this manner today...that we're under grace.
Read Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation.
Those who are His, will be kept from judgment in a place of refuge. Those who are not will have experiences in Leviticus 26.

Leviticus 26 is a good picture of how God chastens. God says if you won't hearken to Him, He will do the following -

First time.

Send sudden terror
Send sickness
Send financial loss
Enemies will rise up against you and win

If you won't repent, the second time....
He'll break your pride
He'll not answer your prayers
He'll send no blessings
You'll work for nothing
Everything you touch will rot

---Michelle on 10/10/07

Third time around if you won't repent

You'll have loss of children
Lose the ability to work
Experience pestilence
Live under the yoke of your enemy
You'll not have enough to eat
You'll face death

People have predicted the end of the world for hundreds of years. Other generations were also wicked: the holocaust, slavery, serfdom, satanic mills, and so forth.
The important thing is that we live each day as our last, carry out God's two greatest commands: love God and neighbour, and be happy because Christianity is about joy not misery.

We are in the last days , we are the Rapture generation, that Jesus spoke of, and we are on borrowed time.
---Mrs._Morgan on 5/9/07

I believe we are in the end times now. This world is getting more wicked everyday. it wasn't long ago that instead of people having a debt they have a barcode in their arm or wrist and all they do is scan their arm and the can obtain all their information.

I believe Mrs. Morgan is correct.

It's hard to say when it will all be finished, but it kind of reminds me of a stage being set up for a show, and the show must go on.

The Bible does ay that it will come as a thief to those who aren't watching for it.

That's true enough of even an "untimely" natural death.
---Pharisee on 10/17/06

According to my understanding on the subject, the end times or last days started with the birth of Christ.
---Kay on 10/17/06

It is very possible that the end is just around the corner. Although with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day (2 Peter 3:8). What is certain is that we are living right in the end times, with many prophecies being fulfilled - Kingdom against kingdom, lawlessness abounding, false prophets, etc. etc.

greetings, there is nothing in your question that indicates that "every eye will see him".jesus said tribulation is commonplace.

Everything from concubinage to tainted salad fixings has been seen as an apocalyptic sign by people on these blogs, but what does the Bible actually say?

According to St. Peter's own inspired interpretation of the Prophecy of Joel in Acts 2, we have been in the Last Days since the Descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
