You may accept Jesus as your saviour but, the kingdom of heaven you shall not inherit, unless you obey Him as Lord. Is this a true statement?

(V.) "For if God spared not the natural branches, TAKE HEED lest he also spare not thee.Behold therefore the GOODNESS and SEVERITY of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, [IF] thou CONTINUE IN HIS GOODNESS: otherwise thou also shalt be CUT OFF." (Romans 11:21,22). (James 1:12-16,22).

(I.)There's nothing like God's Grace it's FREEDOM/LIBERTY in the Holy Ghost (2 Corinth.3:17) NOT bondage Rom.6:12-23) It's WONDERFUL beyond words, but God's Grace CAN be rejected by Christians (Jude1:4) isn't for those who choose to EMBRACE darkness/deceit(they have condemnation, are not IN CHRIST)(Rom.8:1,5-8), the Word is CLEAR on this, one can't be justified by the Blood of Christ & walking after the flesh at the same time,God isn't the author of confusion/lies,
---Mrs._Morgan on 6/15/07

(II.)...but satan is, and some love it. God's Grace is for the humble & obedient ONLY (1 Peter 5:5). Those that refute that God's Grace has conditions (Titus 2:11-14)(Heb.4:1)(Heb. 12:15)(Heb.13:9), are embracing deceit, thus they are unable to come to the knowledge of the Truth (Matt.13:14-23)(2 Tim. 3:1-7). If a Christian isn't GROWING in God's Grace/Truth/Love they are in danger, perishing (2 Peter 3:14-18), by their own choice....perishing (2 Thess. 2:9-12),
---Mrs._Morgan on 6/15/07

(III.)...it's really that simple. Jesus came to bring people OUT OF DARKNESS (1 John 3:1-10), but if a Christian chooses to live in it/embrace it, run back to it(deceit/death) they are fools/hypocrites, and are DEAD (John 15:6)(2 John 1:9-11)(3 John 1:11)(2 Thess. 1:8-12)(Jude 1:11), not worthy of Christ (Rev. 2:21)(Rev. 3:15-22). Grace & Truth can't be separated (1 John 3:5-10). God can only help those who YIELD to Him/His Word (Rev. 2:25,26).
---Mrs._Morgan on 6/15/07

(IV.)Life is in the Blood of Jesus(the Word), people must YIELD to the Word, to stay SANTIFIED (John 17:17), if one desires to be CLEANSED by the Word/the Blood, they must ABIDE in the Word/the Blood. God states that the Blood of Christ CLEANS ETH(the "ETH" means thats not just a one time thing, like some say, to their own destruction),one must ALLOW His Blood to CONTINUE to cleanse them, by ABIDING in His Word/Blood//Grace/Love, or else NO ETERNAL LIFE(Heb.10:26,27).

You cannot say on your deathbed I am saved. the bible teaches, "the same spirit that leads you in life will also possess you after death." except a man repents and is baptised, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. it is impossible to change your life in minutes. people spend a lifetime trying to repent and live righteous lives and fail. they can profess it yes, but their hearts have not. If that is the case, just throw away the bible, live evil lives and just before you die, say sorry I am saved.

As long as a person has breath in his body and can ask forgiveness of sins.Sincerely from the heart. God will save him. Does not matter the crimes he/she has committed in their lifetime. But a change must take place. God did this for all who has been born again.. We were not even close to being good. This is why I was taught to think on these things when we get born again. Honey Jesus reached way down, for some of us, and saved us to the uttermost. We have so much to be grateful for.
---Robyn on 6/14/07

Sue:Another blog asked if their was such a thing as deathbed salvation. Yes it is.. At the eleventh(11th)hour a man or woman can see where they have been stubborn and blind, and receive Jesus, on their deathbed. Salvation is according to Romans 10:9, for one. If you believe this in your heart. You shall be saved. It does not say anything about crimes/sins we have committed. We all have fallen before and will fall many more times in our lives. We all are guilty. Not just the killers, molesters and so on.
---Robyn on 6/14/07

Sue; It all depends. If God is dealing with that person's heart (convicting them of their past sins) and they ask God to forgive them, God will forgive them and yes they will go and be with the Lord. Once Chrsit forgives a person of their sins, their sins are no more to be remembered by God. but a person cannot come to God when they want, God has to draw that person to him, as the bible says.

There is more than enough grace to save the most sinful person
---mark_B. on 6/14/07

To deceive many, Satan came up with a new twist on things. He now says everyone is saved and no one will be lost if they profess Jesus Christ. If you commit sins, don't worry, you will not be asked to account for them. Follow me and do what you want. Eat, drink and be merry, the kingdom of God is still yours. Just make sure you say sorry before you die. If you can't don't worry, Jesus forgives you anyways. It is sad that many actually believe these lies and will soon be joining satan after the judgment.
---ashley on 6/14/07

I have a hard time with this also. I mean, can a person be a horrible, child killer (or whatever) all his life, except for the very last five minutes ask forgiveness then go to Heaven?
---sue on 6/14/07

Rebecca_D , Amen! The desire has to be there! "I think so", or "maybe, I'm not sure" Kind of responses, just won't cut it. When the Holy Spirit deals with someone, they will either respond whole-heartily , or not, "half-heartily" don't count. God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 11/8/06

Sue; If God convicts that person over their sins, and they ask for forgiveness, then yes God will forgive them. But if they just utter words, then no God won't save them. At church one night, a (guest) preacher came and upon closing he asked if this woman wanted to be saved, she hestiated and said yeah, I guess. Right there I knew that God wasn't dealing with her. She walked to the alter and stood there. the preacher said repeat after me, and she did and preacher said your saved. It don't work that way.

People accept Jesus as their Savior, but it's another thing to make him Lord of your life. As a Catholic, I accepted Jesus as my Savior, but no one ever showed me how to make Jesus Lord of my life. That didn't come until I started to attend a pentecostal church who taught the word and showed me how to make Jesus LORD of my life.

The thief on the cross next to Jesus asked to be remembered in Paradise, and Jesus told Him that he would be with Him in Paradise that day.

The only 'obedience' that man had TIME to enact was to believe that Jesus was the Son of God.

After you accept Jesus as your saviour, you WILL do all you can to obey Him. Anything else, and you have not truly committed your life to Him.
---laure5759 on 10/30/06

sue, remember the thief on the cross? remember also the verse, and Jesus said,"ASK, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN" the thief on the cross didnt know if he will go to heaven but Jesus replied, "today, you will be in heaven with me" meaning, He/Jesus has accepted the thief's request only Jesus was not going to remember, BUT ACCEPT HIM IN HEAVEN. so yes, you only need to ask Him.

It seems to me that if Jesus is your Savior, He's also your Lord.

And just HOW do you determine if you're among the elect, Phil? By deciding or thinking you are?
---Jack on 10/30/06

The real question is are you among the Elect in a covenant relationship with God; because if you are not nothing else really matters.

You better believe it! (1 John 3:6-10). "Now unto him that is ABLE to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy...."(Jude 1:24). Excuses and Denial, God don't accept, only Obedience, godly repentance(godly sincerity, godly intentions, which always produces godly FRUIT/EVIDENCE)(I John 1:5-10)(1 John 2:4-6). God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 10/30/06

(II.) Ryan, Some don't know what "accepting Jesus Christ as their savior" means, it's sad but true. The devil has a major network of deceit going on, and Most Christian's are not truly saved. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil(1 John. 3:8), deliver people from those works, BRING THEM OUT OF those awful works, that darkness.
---Mrs._Morgan on 10/30/06

(III.)When a person ask's Jesus to come in their heart, to be their Lord and Savior , they much be FULLY AWARE that they can't have those works of the devil and Jesus too, it just won't work, light can't mix with darkness(Eph. 5:8). People must ALLOW God to remove everything out of their life that is unlike Him, truly yield to Him. God Bless!
