One night with the King is a three demensional Movie, very much like The Movie on Joesph.

In "One night with the King", I see the King as Jesus-Our Husband, Esther and her people are a symbol of the Church, and Hamen is Satan. Each time I watched the Movie I gain more inspiration. I don't own it, but I feel like I want to go and rent it. I am afraid if I buy it I'll watch it every day. (Here is were I need an accountability partner) However I know better, so I won't buy it....YET!!

"One Night with the King" is My Favorite Movie. It is the Best Movie I've seen in a long time. I've watched it like 19 times. Three times back to back. I love the Part where Esther comes out in her gown during the Wedding and the Music is playing. I sing and dance to it, I go on an emotional high like the Spirit is leaping inside me. I guest I'm so overwelmed with Joy. I rewinded that part for hours. Thats how much I've enjoyed that Movie. I rented it twice and did a book report on it.

There is a movie I saw recently called Dinner with a Perfect Stranger. It was pretty good.

Recently I saw One Night With The King, and recommend it. Before it showed, during the upcoming movie previews a new film to be released in December is The Nativity Story, which is of course about the birth of Jesus. What a pleasant surprise to see! About time Bible themed movies are showing in secular theaters.

Michelle, thank you so very much. When I heard the title of this movie, I thought to myself, "One night with the King, sounds like Elvis is back." LOL But I know Jesus is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

It was a VERY good movie - one worth seeing! Movies like this do not come along often, and I would recommend it to anyone. It lines up with Scripture, but (of course) there is poetic license in adding things to make the story more interesting. However, the additions are believable and make sense in the context of the film. They are not contradictory to history, nor do these details detract from the focus. Very well done, and I give it a 5 out of 5 stars.

Donna.... Look up "Movie Phone" online to find out where the movie is playing. In New York, we can call 777-FILM also. I don't know if that is true in all states.

I haven't seen it, but for some reason, I doubt it will be that wonderful, so I do not yet intend to go see it.

It was wonderful! I left the movie feeling like a beautiful princess chosen and loved by God. I also realized the importance of speaking and living your life according to the Word of God.

The clothes were fabulous. The actors and actresses were handsome and beautiful. It is a must see. I highly recommend it. Joy9988

I didn't know there was a movie, "Dinner with a Perfect Stranger" I've read this well written little story. It a small book, readable in one sitting.

Someone brought the movie to our Bible Study. The next week someone said they rented it from NetFlex.

How do you find out where it's playing?
---Donna9759 on 11/1/06

Yes! It was wonderful! I loved it! Through this movie I learned to become more bold and courageous. TO do the right thing even when it looks like there is no way. But Our Lord Jesus Christ is always faithful and on time. I also learned to see my Heavenly Father as the King of Kings:) His Majesty and Royalty:) wow!

I didn't know there was a movie, "Dinner with a Perfect Stranger" I've read this well written little story. It a small book, readable in one sitting. I've given a number of copies to non-Christians, as they can usually's a good story, not at all "preachy", yet it makes Salvation very understandable. I always think "the book is better" but not everyone these days reads.
