The new thought today is leave the devil alone and he will leave you alone. I asked well why did paul tell us to put on the whole armor of God and he said when we pray and read the bible we are putting on the whole armor.

I had this wonderful sister in the Lord who was corresponding with me consistently...until I shared with her that I had children from a first husband and was remarried. Surprisingly, she cut off contact with me after that. I still miss her. I recovered by knowing who my Father says I am to Him regardless of what kind of magnifying glass another may hold on my life or what size measuring stick another may measure my outer court by.

I reckoned that judgment as having been taken by Jesus and myself alive to the truth of who Jesus is and the work He did at Calvary. Jesus, who had the seven spirits of God resting upon Him, judged neither by the hearing of the ears or the seeing of the eyes. He looked on the heart of man.

"Let they that love Your salvation say, "The Lord be magnified."

Anybody may be misunderstood or attacked unfairly. When I'm a victim, I like to consider myself "persecuted" or "under Satanic attack". Actually, it may be a simple misunderstanding, some body's "bad day", or (gasp) MY attitude being less than godly. I try to consider these things first. If I can do nothing to repair the situation, I commit it to Jesus and go on. NOW, if I could only learn to consider all these things BEFORE I open my mouth to answer my opponent...

P,S. can't think of any specific "darts" lately...but I won't be surprised if they come my way.

My husband and I were accused abusing our two children. It went on with CPS for 2 years. They didn't take our kids away, no evidence. took lie dectors tests past them, took them for a "check up". Couldn't find nothing at all. We had a pysholigist talk to our kids, and she said she don't see any abuse what so ever and whomever made these statements lied. Never heard from CPS again.

I wish the fiery darts were being shot at me because I voiced my opinion or I did something stupid, but just like the Pharisees mouthed off to Jesus unnecessarily and uncalled for, that's what is happening to me. I just stand there and say nothing back, then I go somewhere and cry it out. To say something so hurtful to someone and have no remorse even hurts worse. I kind of know how Jesus must have felt when the Pharisees told him He had a demon. It was a lie and Jesus didn't have no demon.

If we were in Iraq, dodging bullets night and day, there would be cause for concern. If you want to be a witness, go into the kitchen, be prepared to take the heat. If your opinion is voiced, be prepared for the bulls eye on your head. If you're giving right hooks and jabs, you can't pull back to the ropes and whine. To stay in the fight, get back up on your feet. The half has not been told what the Christian will endure in the future. Learn to equip yourself with the Word.
