Judging someone is only stating an action is wrong.

Giving sentences (if you have to do so) that doesn't match the crime is how one moves to the mercy seat.

If you broke my window, but I didn't force you to pay for the window is an example.

You are guilty of breaking my window, but not forced to pay for your guilt.

I'm just seeing this blog 10 years later but wanted to clarify something...WE don't sit on either the judgment or mercy seat. In the Old Testament, Samuel and the other judges sat on the judgment seat, and in the New Testament the Praetorian (including those who judged Jesus as guilty) say on the judgment seat. The mercy seat was the top of the ark of the covenant on which blood was sprinkled for annual atonement. Jesus now sits on the judgment seat in heaven, because the Father has given all judgment to the son (John 5:22.) Thus, just as the ark was designed, the Father sits on His mercy seat in heaven to receive those who have passed through Jesus - those who know Him as their Lord and Savior.

Tell them that they need to be saved. God is going to judge all on everything we do. No one is exempt from this. but if one wants to be in the Mercy seat, they to find Jesus.

Thank You, Nana, It's all about getting God's Truth out, not our opinions! I look forward to reading more of your godly posts. God Bless!

Only he who commits an infraction is on and even
merits to be on the Judgement Seat. To move from the
Judgement Seat to the Mercy Seat attonement is required.
Long time ago God had implemented way by which we could
do just that. It is found in Leviticus and it is called
an offering or a sacrifice unto the Lord. These offerings
were to be performed for thankfulness, for peace and also
for forgiveness of sin.

"Free-Choice" is seen in Leviticus 1:3: "If his offering be
a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without
blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD."
See the free choice? "...of his own voluntary will..."

Jesus offered the sacrifice and was also the sacrifice. But God
had decreed that we must provide the sacrifice from our own
voluntary will and from our property. So, if we are to reap the
fruits of that sacrifice we must accept it as if we made it. We
must claim it, be thankful and yield the fruits and the merit of
that sacrifice.

Moreover in partaking of the bread and the wine we are raised
To the rank of the priests whom were allowed to partake of the
offering. As it is said that to whom much is given much will it
be required of him, it is the highest calling and the more so we
are required to maintain and obey all that it is required of such
a high office!

Mrs Morgan,
Those are most excellent points. Nothing needs to
be added to them but since you mentioned that most
Christian's want to deny some of it, I will seek to
try and contribute something in that area.

A person is either on God's Left side or His Right. It's Whosoever will let him come.God's saving Grace is wonderful, but free-choice STILL remains, most Christian's want to deny this. At this time many have free-choice to decide which side they desire to STAND ON,God's TRUE people are not like the sea, drifting to and fro, they following the lead of the Holy Spirit,His lead points to the Right side(there is no "middle ground")only Right and Left(Joshua 24:15).God Bless!

(II.)How does a person "move out of the judgement seat they sit in and over to the mercy seat? The answer is simple, it's called OBEY GOD (some call this "mere works", but godly Obedience and Salvation can't be separated) One must truly humble "self" to God Almighty, period. People that think they can "have God"(His Gift of Grace) and not Obey Him are DECEIVED...

(III.)...the enemy loves that kind of reasoning(Many of false doctrine is based on this),it isn't godly reasoning(Matt. 15:8). It is true that actions speak louder than words, and actions prove what is in the HEART, the SOUL. God looks on the HEART,the SOUL, and a clean heart and a clean soul, will manifest a CLEAN HOLY LIFE. Only the pure in Heart will see God. God's Truth must be in our Hearts(Psalm 119:11). God Bless!

Someone that moves off of the Judgement seat is one that sees that they are not in control of everything and God is. Most people want to control their lives when Jesus has done all that needs to be done for them. Jesus sits on both seats for us. He took the Judgment for us and he provides our mercy. those that refuse to acknowledge that Jesus is in control don't even get to sit down they are too busy trying to be god.

By the revelation of how that judgment seat was changed to a mercy seat~~by the sprinkled blood of Jesus. To know and understand that those three days and three nights fully satisfied the judgment of God upon sin and that justice was fully served when Jesus sat down at His right hand. How glorious it is to know that the blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel's blood.
