Thanks so much Sam, for your prayer, but that family member has passed on...I hope with the Lord. But, I would like to agree with you in prayer for some other lost ones in my family, and in your family(if there be any) God Bless! : )
---Mrs._Morgan on 7/25/07

I agree with Mrs. Morgan for salvation for this family member in the name of Jesus!
---sam on 7/25/07

jan , I agree with you in prayer for them. One of my brother's once loved a JW, They were young at the time, and she was pregnant with my nephew. My mother was against their union(because the girl and her family were staunch JW's). She is a very likeable person even today, but I'm glad my brother didn't marry her, some 18 years ago. God's way is Perfect. God Bless!

I have 2 out of 4 of my Children J.W's and that makes 6 out of 10 of my grandchildren. I know how difficult it is to speak to them, but if they are desperate maybe they will listen. I am praying as well...

Mrs. Morgan - My heart goes out to you at this time of your sad loss. May you be at peace in the Lord.
---Helen_5378 on 11/27/06

Mrs. Morgan we will pray for her Salvation and Mike yours also. Mrs. Morgan you are wise to see that her religion has not and will not Save her.

If she truley knows God in her heart she will be saved.Salvation is not based on a religious name nor a denominational name, but on the teaching of G-d.I am a former study of JW's,& though I donot agree with all their doctrines they do believe Jesus is the son of G-d,died for our sins rose again & assended in to heaven. God can read our hearts, so please know she is in Gods hands.

I just wanted everyone to know that I don't believe in giving up on people, I believe with God ALL things are possible, I believe in the "power of prayer". I do not support the teachings of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Because they don't believe Jesus is equal with God the Father, and they have cut out/edited most of the Holy Bible. But I still prayed for her, because of my Faith in God(no matter the circumstances). Your heartfelt posts are very encouraging, Thanks again. God Bless!

if she is a jehovah's witnesses and is true to their teachings, then she is already saved.

Mrs. Morgan....I'm so very sorry for your loss. I pray that GODS GRACE will comfort you in this time of need.
---JIM on 11/27/06

Mrs. Morgan, I am truly sorry for your loss. I do pray she heard your words to her. Some things we will never know until we are all together. I had a friend I won't know what decision she made at the last minute.
God Bless!
---kathr4453 on 11/27/06

lisa dear, your words took me back. Many believe, as I do that hearing the Gospel (spoken in the power of the Holy Spirit of Truth)and responding to it, is not saving yourself. We do pray for those to hear. The Bible CLEARLY states: "FAITH comes by HEARING the WORD of God!!! Please meditate on God's WORD and believe that what it says is TRUTH. I believe what God said is True. Please accept those who also believe "Faith comes by Hearing".
---kathr4453 on 11/27/06

I have received news that Johnetta has passed on. I prayed "Lord please don't let her die lost". We must Trust in God, because He can only make PERFECT judgment (2 Samuel 22:31) and not only in regard to our family and friends who pass on, but in ALL things. Once again, thank you for your sincere prayers. God Bless!

(II.) I wanted to make this point clear, in regard to when I said that I prayed : "Lord please don't let her die lost". I don't believe in praying for people that have already passed on, ONLY WHEN THEY ARE STILL ALIVE. I just wanted to make this clear because some believe we can pray for our family and loved ones AFTER they have passed on, and this is NOT Biblical. God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 11/27/06

Father, I pray for Mrs Morgan's in-law on her father's side of the family and I ask you to get the truth to her that she is in the wrong kingdom. Bring her out of the kingdom of darkness (Jeh. Wit kingdom) and move her into the Kingdom of light. For while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, all of us. I loose the Holy Spirit of conviction over this person and I ask you to convict her that she's in the wrong kingdom. I pray for her salvation in Jesus name. Amen.
---Donna9759 on 11/27/06

Jeane, I am sorry if you think I am hard. When a person believes that God doesn't save us and that we have a choice to accept or not, Christ, into our lives, then what is the purpose of praying? If the choice one makes is what makes us saved, then why ask God to change anyone? Why come to Him in prayer when we don't believe He is the one that saves? If God cannot force anyone, or influence anyone because of someone's free will, then praying is useless. What do we ask for?
---lisa on 11/27/06

2. I am sorry I brought it up on these blog, and maybe I should have done it on another. I do appolize for my mistake. I too have lost a sister from the Jehovah witnessing. She too died without Christ. I know how hard she faught for her believes. She was not going to be moved by nothing. Only God could save her. I put her in His hands. I don't know her destination now, but only hope that somehow God changed her heart.

Lisa - I do not presume to speak for Mrs Morgan, but my contact with her thus far has shown me that she does NOT believe that we save ourselves. Rather, God alone can save us, but we must CHOOSE whether or not to accept His redemption.
---laure5759 on 11/26/06

Lisa I have not been on here long enough to really get a feel for you or Mrs. Morgan. But your words come across harsh whether right or wrong but in a time like this when a person is dying one must be ever so careful with our words. If you do not agree as is obvious with Mrs. Morgan fine then pray for her if she changes or not that is not what is important, when we prayer for others "we" begin to change and that's what is important.
---Jeanne on 11/26/06

Mrs. Morgan, I will be praying too for your family. God Bless.

What is really hard about JW's if I'm not mistaken, is that they believe they are sinless. (My brother got involved with them for a while). We should pray that this person sees they are a sinner in need of a savior. I believe we pray for specifics.
---kathr4453 on 11/26/06

I too have an in-law who is a J.W. I join you Mrs. Morgan in praying for yours. Lisa your comment seems rather unkind to me.

When you're standing in the need of prayer around the altar, let those with faith come and stand with you. As you lift your prayer request up to God, it only takes one not lifting (w/o faith) to bring discouragement.
As you lay hold of the altar, in one accord, with faith, I believe with you.

Lord Jesus all power has been given to you. Myself and all the agree with me ask you to send ministering spirits to this lady's(kin to Mrs. Morgan) spirit that she might come to a saving knowledge of your beloved son the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank you now for granting this petition.

Dear ChristiaNet Community, My In-Law's name is Johnetta, she is 86 years old.She has not eaten in over a week, can't speak, and has not used the bathroom(which is a very bad sign).I believe that with God ALL things are possible.I'm praying that she will get well, but I do know that some stay around long enough to get saved.I will be speaking the Word of God in her ears, speaking Jesus' name, and encouraging her to say the sinner's prayer "in her heart"!Thank You for your prayers and God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 11/26/06

Mrs.Morgan I just finished praying and will mention your family member again. I am sorry to hear of what your family is going thru especially at this holiday time. Take heart and courage your family will need your strength at this time and you of course will need to lean on Jesus. My prayers and thoughts will be turned to you and yours at this time, be blessed!

Morgan, why do you ask for prayers for the salvation of your relative? You believe a person can save themselves anyway, Why ask God to come into her heart and change her if you don't believe that at all? Just a point since you have made it clear that God doesn't save anyone, people have to make a choice. Let that lady make a choice without the help of God and see what happens.
---lisa on 11/26/06

I do believe that God has to come to the person in order for that person to be saved. "Lord, please come into Morgan's in-law, and make a new creation of her. Give her the hope that is in Christ. Please don't let her die without knowing you as my sister did. She was also a Jehovah Witness, and I tried so hard to bring the gospel to her. Have mercy on her Lord, In Jesus Christ, Amen.
---lisa on 11/26/06

Mrs Morgan - I will be thinking of you all at this time, and supporting you in prayer. I do pray that she will come to know our Lord and Saviour as hers. In Jesus' Name. God bless you.
