No! Thank God, His is God and not some of those on this website claiming they are going to hell.

God is MERCY.

If these people are going to hell. Then you all who claim this will go to hell for not preaching Jesus to them.

God isn't a cruel and unfair.

God said He wish not one would perish.
So, how are they going to perish if God does not will it.

God is God and He is the One who die for them. He will Save.
---Nicole on 6/26/08

Only through Jesus. He is our salvation.
You must repent turn to Him and surrender your life to Him. Live for Him alone. Make Him your focus. He will change your whole life. Put your faith into action show works of mercy. be compassionate to others.
If you do not, hell is waiting.
---Paul on 6/26/08

Good people don't go to heaven, only those who obey God's Word and have accepted Christ and Law of Love,in New Testament ,and followed God's Laws in the OT. Romans 2:12 For as many as haved sinned without law shall also perish without law:and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.
---Darlene_1 on 6/8/08

The world is continually being changed and forged - the devil gets an hour (those days are cut short) and the Lord keeps claiming and reclaiming THE LORD'S DAY.
Everywhere the gospel is preached - lives are transformed poverty is lifted, seeds are planted, wells are dug, people are fed food for their bodies and food for their souls. The gospel is mighty to 'change, transform, renew'. As powerful as a two-edged sword.
Some to eternal unbelief - some to eternal life

Mima,
Since you seem to know the fate of dead people, could you possibly answer 2 questions?
Matthew 27:52: "And the graves were opened, and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53: And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and
went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. "
Question #1: Who were those saints?
---Nana on 9/19/07

Mima,
For the second question I pose this Scripture:
John 5:28: "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are
in the graves shall hear his voice, 29: And shall come forth, they that have
done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."
Question #2: Do you know anybody that has come forth from the grave unto
the "resurrection of life"?

The reason the thief was taken to Paradise was because he ask the Lord Jesus Christ," Lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom". Not he obviously wasn't a big giver, he wasn't baptized, he didn't keep the seven sacraments, he didn't go to Communion, but goodness folks he is the only one to whom Jesus said, today thy shall not join me in paradise. Works of any kind do not please the Lord, and to depend on them for your salvation is to find hell!!!
---Mima on 9/18/07

Mima:: I have no axe to grind with you.But Gods ways are different to mans ways did he not take the thief to Paradise.God demonstrated compasion even when dying.what law did the thief uphold?
---Emcee on 9/18/07

Jn3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

(name: who He is: character, attributes, person and work )

Acts4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

---steven-rem7000 on 9/18/07

#1- ---Emcee you wrote,"You are the most difficult man to understand how can you condemn some one to hellThese 2 men were loving who preached non violence"---Emcee preaching nonviolence is not salvation.
---Emcee you wrote,"may be they were NOT CHRISTIAN but they lived the laws of God Jesus taught in Matt5:3-11." Bible says no man will be justified by the law!!! Continued
---Mima on 9/18/07

The answer, here, is simple: "There is none righteous, no not one. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Just living a, supposedly, sinless life is not enough. We're all born into the sinful nature and the only cure, for that, is Christ's blood - the Gift of God.
---Gary on 9/18/07

Mima::You are the most difficult man to understand how can you condemn some one to hellThese 2 men were loving who preached non violence, may be they were not christian but they lived the laws of God Jesus taught in Matt5:3-11.Jesus reiterates He who does the will of my father.Mima where is that charity?
---Emcee on 9/17/07

Debbie.......only GOD knows that. For he says HE will have mercy on whom he will have mercy and have compassion on those whom He will have compassion.
---JIM on 9/17/07

To Alexia- you are correct Ghandi(by his own statement) did not believwe therefore is in hell. The Dali Lama based on what he believes will soon joint him in hell.
---mima on 9/17/07

yeah i guess Ghandi went to hell. and the dali Lama must be headed there. What kind of vicious God do you folks invision? He's all powerful yet he CHOOSES to create flawed people so he can send them to hell. It makes me weep with sadness.
---alexia on 9/17/07

Thank you Trey for your explanation.

Hi RitaH,

No, what I am saying is the opposite. God is not limited to the voice of a preacher. It may be that some never hear, due to where the live, or due to a physical handicap, or death at birth, etc. All the cases listed above never hear the voice of a preacher, but they will hear the voice of the Son of God.
---trey on 9/16/07

Part 2

RitaH, here is some scripture:

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

No man can pluck us out of God's hand, not even Satan.
---trey on 9/16/07

1st one would have to assume that a person
could in fact live a life that is pleasing to god, without knowing him!
and then is their anyone that is pass the age of acountability that has'nt heard the name Jesus,yahshua,messiah,christ,ect...
one thing i do know, god is a just god and he will have mercy on whom he will have mercy and will bring wrath upon whom ever he wants to...
---Duane on 9/16/07

Good morning.I believe that being good all your life will not get you to Heaven.I also understand there are people who have never heard about Jesus, but He will make it possible for that person to know about Him before it is too late. The Lord works in mysterious ways.Jesus wants us all to have eternity in heaven so if people are destined for Heaven,Jesus will make the way for them.

well debbie, scripture tells us no one is Good.now some are innocent, aka children.but anyone who God holds accountable who never believed in jesus is doomed.
---tom2 on 9/16/07

"I am the way the truth and the life. Noone goes to the Father except by me". That is what Jesus Christ said. I know that we are all held accountable for what we know but at the same time he says"my people perish for lack of knowledge". If we hear of Jesus,it is our responsibity to seek knowledge and wisdom. People do not go to heaven for living a GOOD Life". I believe God's spirit witnesses to every spirit in some way. I do not understand but do know there is only 1 way.:)
---jody_martin on 9/16/07

To trey how does want you have written stack up against the following scripture? First Corinthians 1:21" For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, IT PLEASED GOD BY THE FOLISHNESS OF PREACHING to save them that believe:? Who if not men are doing this preaching of foolish?
---Mima on 9/16/07

Trey the bible also says, in Rom 10:14, How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? This is why preachers and missionaries are needed. Obviously some people hear directly from God via the Holy Spirit but it is then their job to tell others. Are you saying that those who have never heard either way are doomed?

Salvation is not dependent upon the gospel.

2ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Salvation is dependent upon the finished work of Christ.
---trey on 9/15/07

2ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

The gospel shines a light on what Christ has done. The gospel is the good news of what Christ has done for us.

Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost,

Trey,

One thief never was "railing" on Jesus. His first words were in Luke 23:40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?

In Luke 23:41 he says they are guilty not Jesus. (Paraphrase here.)

His last words were Luke 23:42 And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!" Don't sound like "railing" to me.
---denna7667 on 9/15/07

Here is something for you to think about. Who preached to the theif on the cross? One minute he is railing on Christ, the next he calls the man in the middle Lord.

Isa 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness, and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

What drew the theif to Christ?
Hint: Jer 31:3
The word "drawn" means to draw, like drawing water from a well.

Let's see what the scriptures say:

Mt 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

It is not man that tells one to know Christ.

Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Who is doing the work? Ans: God.
---trey on 9/15/07

The Bible tells us "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Ephesians 2:8,9). "Faith" is a synonym for Jesus Christ (Rev 19:11). If you go to Hebrews 11 and everywhere you see the word "faith" insert Christ there. You have to remember Galatians 2:16-that by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
---Ed_from_IL on 9/15/07

My GOODNESS!!

We need to call Jesus and tell him not to come, since His people have already done all the judging for him!! And here I thought that only He was allowed to make those decisions!

Good to know that His people have everything figured out. Seems to me, the average man woman and child would do well to seek the appeasement of CHRISTIANS rather than Christ, since they've proven themselves qualified at metting out judgement from on high.
---D on 9/11/07

No one will be without an excuse, even an athiest. Romans 1:20, For the invisble things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. If you think about it, how do the stars stay in the sky? Or the moon and sun? That to would be proof that God exist. But you do not get into Heaven by being a good person. There is only one way, through JESUS CHRIST. Amen!

Everybody who is not born-again will go to hell. Jesus says "..he who does not believe is condemned already.." (John 3:18). Nobody can live a life pleasing to God if they are not born-again. That is why Jesus had to die on the Cross, so that His righteousness can be given to those who believe in Him. "All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6). Those who are not born-again will be judged by their works. Works outside of Christ are evil.
---Helen_5378 on 9/11/07

The Bible says that Jesus is the only way to God and Heaven. You can only go to Heaven by accepting Jesus into your heart as personal Lord & Savior. Everything else leads to Hell.
---Leslie on 12/22/06

Perhaps the entry is found in these verses Revelation 14:6-7" 6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
---Mima on 12/16/06

If a person really does want to know the truth, then I believe that God will find a way to get it to them. There is no such thing as a second chance at the Judgment. You must receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour in this life, not the next. God will save all those that He knows will say yes to His Son Jesus.

Three kinds of people go to heaven: the righteous by nature who never heard the gospel; the born-again Christian; and the backslider who repented or returned to the Lord.
---Eloy on 12/4/06

While there are very few areas of the world where Jesus has not been shared, I believe those not yet found will have a chance at the judgement. Our God is not a respector of persons. He will not show favoritism. One who works all day for a penny will have the same place as one who works in the last hour for a penny. But be sure to understand, works alone will not matter. It is the acceptance of God's pardon for our sins that matters.
---mikefl on 12/4/06

Debbie; apparently I'm the only one whom understands what you are saying. If someone has never heard of Jesus, he looks at their heart and how they lived their life. He has given each of us a conscience and for those whom don't know Jesus or hasn't heard of Jesus, their conscience will be their guide. For those whom are born again, the Holy Ghost is our guide. God will judge all according to what is in their heart, and all will be judged.
---Rebecca_D on 12/4/06

PART ONE:
Debbie, The answer you are looking for is in Romans 2:12-16, "For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

In other words not one follows his own conscience and there for cannot be held giltless.
---Bruce5656 on 12/4/06

PART THREE:
Also see: Romans 3:10-12, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one."
---Bruce5656 on 12/4/06

Let me try again. Let's say that a person lived in a remote area (maybe in a tribe or something) and just never heard the gospel of Jesus. Perhaps he lived a life as best he could without the knowledge of Jesus (treating others as he wished to be treated, etc.). Will those in primitive areas be sent to hell when they never had the opportunity of knowing the Lord?
---Debbie on 12/4/06

Helen 5378,thanks for the input, but I know it all well. Look again,I was speaking of all the Old Testament people who lived under the Law and obeyed God so they received their reward from Him just as NT people who believe on Jesus will. Heaven will hold all those who are obedient to God and live by His Word whether it be under the OT,those people had faith, Old Law & Ordinances or the NT,Law of Love,he that loveth knoweth God,he that loveth not knoweth not God 1John 4:7,8.God Bless

The Bible says, "Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess...." It also says--and in the NT--that God is no respecter of persons, and in EVERY generation, those who do righteously are acceptable to Him--but it's because of Jesus.

For such as you describe, I believe, if there is the LEAST desire to please God, when that moment comes and he bows before Jesus, he will say, "So it was YOU all the time!" And the Lord has all eternity to work on him...
---Jack on 12/4/06

Jesus said "you must be born again."
---Pharisee on 12/4/06

The bible says there will be some that won't hear about Jesus. God has given each and every person a conscience, he judges their heart and they way they live. If someone hasn't heard of Christ, God judges them on how they live their life, if they were good to others, help those in need, etc, I believe they will go to heaven. those whom have hatred in the heart and are mean, I believe they won't go to heaven. For their conscience is their guide.
---Rebecca_D on 12/4/06

Helen; there will be people whom have never heard of Jesus Christ. So maybe you better rethink that answer. Because God won't hold a person responsable if they have never of Jesus Christ, he will judge them on how they lived their life and what is in the heart. It is our responsabilty to go out in the highways and byways.

Earl,
"Man is judged only in the era in which he lived(truths God has revealed thus far).We are viewed as less primitive and will not be judged by their standards but by(higher truths Jesus teaches) "

What does that mean?
---Bruce5656 on 12/4/06

Based on what the Bible states, being just good doesn't provide a person with a ticket to heaven. If all a person had to do to gain eternal life in haven was to be good, what was the point in Christ sacrificing His life? If there is another way, the Bible doesn't mention it.
---wivv on 12/4/06

How can someone "live a life that would be pleasing to God?" and "never had the opportunity to know of our Lord?" So are you saying they believe their good works are pleasing to God? How are their good works measured? By what THEY think is good? or by what GOD thinks is good? There's only one way to heaven and Jesus said, "I AM THE WAY, etc.," "If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved."

greetings. Many pre Jesus religionists have sought to improve their civilizations by way of revelation from the guidance of spiritual presence. Many post Jesus religionists attemp to as well.Man must have the desire to have the spirit in him to change him.The results are apparent when God is his reason for good.Man is judged only in the era in which he lived(truths God has revealed thus far).We are viewed as less primitive and will not be judged by their standards but by(higher truths Jesus teaches)

Darlene1 - The only way to Heaven is to believe that Jesus died on the Cross for your sins and keep on believing that. "The just shall live by faith" (Galatians 3:11). There is no Old Testament Law now because Jesus abolished it on the Cross (Colossians 2:13,14).
---Helen_5378 on 12/3/06

It would be better to say only the righteous go to heaven. Being "good" is something that man came up with. Anyone who has disobeyed the ten commandments is an enemy of God and will be cast into hell if they aren't saved. As far as a person never hearing the gospel, I don't know how God handles that. Keep in mind that a person living in sin is not pleasing God.
---Matthew on 12/3/06

Jesus says you can only go to the Father through Him(Jesus). Jesus is merciful and compassionate. I think in His mercy and compassion he would bring those people to Heaven. That's just my opinion though.
