I remember one time when my granddaughter Michelle was about 2 (she talked very clearly and like an adult early in life) I was dressing her and for some reason was talking about angels and some people saying they had seen one.She was gazing over my shoulder as if she saw someone and smiling and said Grandma I see one and he is right there.I said "Michelle you imagine that" and she insisted he was there. All of the sudden the Spirit of God stopped me (how I can't tell you) I just felt I must not say that again and so I said "Michelle I'm glad you see an angel and I pray someday grandma will be as innocent and pure as you are and be able to see one".Some in the Bible who saw them weren't too pure though. Were they?

What did all of the godly people do in the entire Bible when they saw an angel? they didn't nonchalantly say, "Oh, there's an angel." They actually bowed downed to it knowing who it was even though it wans't right to do so.

Some years ago I met a North American Native man, and our conversation turned to angels. We agreed that they are all around us, but we aren't often able to (knowingly) see them. Then he said something I've never forgotten. He said, "Have you ever noticed a tiny baby looking all around and smiling, and yet you can't see what they're smiling at or why?" I had to agree. He finished by saying "I believe all little babies can see the angels". Somehow, I think he is right.

Be blessed by it. It's very Scriptural for the Lord's angels to be watching over us. What the person saw was just what is really there all the time. We don't usually see them. We're told to be hospitable to strangers because they may be angels. We've probably all seen them one time or another without even knowing it.

This should be a regular occurance in a Christians life. I remember a little girl looked at her mother and told her I had an angle standing right behind me all bright. That blessed me.

A while ago, someone told my wife that she saw an angel next to her.

After thorough investigation, we found out that it was me who was next to her.

I was that angel !!!! :))

PS: Problem is, she won't believe it ,-((

1)The person was Psychotic? ha ha:):) 2)Most likely that you are protected. God made angels for 3 reasons. To worship HIM, to send messages to man, and to protect man. This may have been a devine message to you and that being that you are protected.:)My first comment was purely jest:)

Ben,
Only the Lord knows for sure. A friend of mine was praying one night with another man. They were taking turns. My friend said that after they had prayed for quite a while on their hands and knees, that he sat up and could see three angels standing there watching them pray.

May the Lord bless you,

It could be that he was in the spirit and saw this. I will not say it didn't happen, just because I never experienced it. However, I will say this: Angels only watches over God's people. I will say this: Unbelievers are always on their own.

A few particulars now. Three times I have had people say this to me. Two of these people were pastors and one was a student in church. The student acted so strange after walking towards me that I asked him, what's wrong? To which he replied I was going to ask you a question but I decided not to when I saw an aura surrounding you. Immediately in these situations a red flag jumped up in front of me. Written on these red flags was" don't get to thinking your something special".

Nothing. We don't think it's normal because we don't see it.

Kay dear:: Animals are instinctive .Simeon was probably asking Why are there No cats in Heaven,he did not understand the answer Because "they have no souls" & was wondering what is a soul!ask your mistress!why did you name your cat Simeon??!

Do you guys think animals can see angels? Just wondering because not too long ago my cat was staring at something towards my ceiling and the look on his face freaked me out. Nothing was actually there, but the look on his face told a different story.

Ed; I would have to disagree with you. the bible says that angels can take on human form and be not forgetfull to entertain strangers for thereby for some have entertained angels unaware. Heb 13:2. Meaning that the next stranger we come in contact with, may very well be an angel. So if the above happens, keep in mind it might be an angel, so don't be so quick to judge people.

I would have said, Tell me more. Then I would continue on from there.

I believe God uses people all the time to reach out to us. Most of know that we have to "weigh" what people say. If there was an angel there or not who knows but the thought is nice.

This does happen, now no particulars will be given here in order that others will not get angry.

I would say that there could be any number of explanations. My experience has taught me that generally when a total stranger says something far out, they are mentally ill. If God wanted you to know about an angel around you, he would let you see it or feel the presence.

God does speak through other people, Ed, but I would agree that such a person (especially if a stranger) is a few fries short of a Happy Meal.
---Jack on 12/11/06

To be brutally honest, it might just mean that they are a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket. If we seek the Face of God, He will confirm His will and leading to us. To trust the words of another is to place them between us and God - i.e. in the position of an idol. Worship the Lord, only!
