Christians Are Picked On
Do you think that Christians should put out the message that what is happening to Christian in this country is not exceptable? Shouldn't we buy Christian stocks, buy from only Christian stores and give to Christian chairty?

Ruth, what in the WORLD are you talking about?
I haven't heard ANYTHING about Christians as a group being persecuted in the United States other than historical occurrences, and then it was one sect persecuting another.
Or is it that you think "not favoring Christians" equals "persecution"?

You may do what you want to about stocks and ect. But have I got news for you. God is not happy at all in how His people are being mistreated. I absolutely know this on a personal note from God. Bite the dust. Another one of my callings. To speak out against it.

Ruth, you are saying that the Lord's prophecy of us being persecuted is unacceptable. Tell the Lord, don't tell society. We have it easy compared to Christians in other parts of the world. Go to Asia or the Middle East and see how the Christians there are treated.

Rebecca is right. Christians should stand out and reject the evils of the world. We should live our lives in harmony with the teachings of Jesus Christ Many have been killed, thrown to the lions, abused, mocked, ridiculed in history. It is not easy to live in the world and not of the world. Satan often deceives us into a false sense of security. The best way for Satan to succeed is to have people deny the truths of Jesus Christ and tell them everyone is saved regardless what they do in life.

No, that would show haughtynesslike the pharasees, showing christian love goes beyond our fold, it goes throughout the community, Jesus didn't stay within his own community now did he? No,he went beyond to where people noticed,I buy where it fits my budget, not who's behind it.

What I buy and don't buy has nothing to do with my walk with God. If I want to make a difference in someone's life, then it starts with me getting closer to God. And once a light is shown to others, that is the message. To stand out from the crowd.

Yes, Raine, it's prophecy.

Jack, history repeats itself, so they say. Do you believe that the world will reach such a low, that Christians will be crucified again?
---Raine on 12/17/06|
Persecution of Christians is as unacceptable as racist discrimination. We don't allow that but allow Christians to be ridiculed and condemned for being Christians or virgins. Christians are considered dangerous because of their values. It won't be long before we will be beheaded as well.

What might happen to Christians in this country--if you mean the USA--is mere inconvenience.
If we were allowed to post URLs, I could give you sites about what happens in Muslim countries to Christians that would make you weep: such as three Christian girls captured on their way to school, tortured, and beheaded in Indonesia. (The 4th escaped.)

Christian stocks? I don't think such a thing exists. And, Christian stores? How do we know that those working at the stores are Christian? As far as Christian charities, I know a couple of charities that call themselves Christian which are not! Who would tell us if they are "really" Christian or not.

Your question is centered entirely around money.
Money is the root of all sorts of evil.
Chrisatians should give freely and be a living testimony to the one true and living God. We were never told to be fascists.

Are you a victim or a victor?
"In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world."
"And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith."
