"When life knocks you to your knees, just remember that you're in the perfect position to pray."

Real men obey Jesus.
Christian, worshipper of Christ only.
Jesus is Immanuel: God with us.
Who stands this, who even forgives sins? Luke 7:49.
Let go and let Jesus.
talk-the-talk AND WALK-THE-WALK.
Don't blame God, He's perfect.
Salvation not gotten, is salvation forgotten.
Not hearers only, but only doers.
Grace not shared is grace despaired.

Ok I have a few! Here they are:
1.Jesus is your steering wheel not your spare tire!

2. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian like standing in a garage doesn't make you a car!

Hope you like them!

I have two: When my kids used to pester me about our time of arrival while we were on a trip (even to the grocery store) I would say: "We are closer than when we first began." I believe the same is true about His return.

The other has drastically changed my thought life, and it is by Joyce Meyer: "You can be pitiful or powerful, but you can't be both."

This one has helped me to remember that God uses us. "If It Is To Be It Is Up To Me"

Did you hear about the lady who would never speak bad about anyone? The people of her church couldn't believe it; so one Sunday that asked Mrs Y her opinion of the devil thinking she wouldn't have anything good to say about him; she replied, "He's very persistent!" Wow, what a lady!

Jack- maybe so, but not on this one. I already believed it before I heard him say it. He just said it in a way that I liked. And no Swaggert isnt perfect but I do have love for him in my heart because of his unwavering stand in the cross of Christ. Be blessed.

Jack...Ok, I'll bite! Name one thing that Swaggart says "wrong" that you have heard him say. Thanks!

**Swaggert says it all the time.**

Swaggart says a lot of things, many of them wrong.

Amen Craig! Christ paid the price on the cross! It was his death that paid the price, not His resurrection! Praise God He is now sitting at the right hand of the Father!

Christ is the source, the cross is the means.

Swaggert says it all the time. It simply means that Christ is the source for whatever you need, and that your faith in what he did at the cross is the means by which he gives it to you.

Susie--and rose from the dead, too. Don't forget that.

There's a difference between "simple" on the one hand and "simplistic" or "simple-minded" on the other.
---Jack on 12/20/06

Don't fear tomorrow..God is already there.
Knowing the bible is one thing, knowing the author is another.
If we forget we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.
---Virginia on 12/20/06

Jack...Christianity is simple! Jesus died on the cross for us all!!! Praise the Lord!

I like Leslie's. My favorite is: Eat the chicken, spit out the bones.
That means that you absorb the meat of the word and since Preachers are not perfect, they may say something a little off, so you "spit out the bones."

Jesus Christ died in time so that others might live in eternity.

All else is secondary when compared to the eternal abode of ones immortal soul.
---Ed on 12/19/06

One of the problems with cute slogans is that the make Christianity appear simple-minded.

Bumper-sticker theology also inoculates people with little bits and pieces of the Gospel, making them immune to catching the real thing. (This was an observation made by the late Keith Green.)
---Jack on 12/19/06

I have two.

I know of no other God than the One in the arms of the Virgin, on the Cross, and on the Altar.

Learn Christ and Him crucified. Learn to praise Him and, despairing of
yourself, say, 'Lord Jesus, You are my righteousness, just as I am Your sin.
You have taken upon Yourself what is mine and have given to me what I was not.' Beware of aspiring to such purity that you will not wish to be looked upon as a sinner, or to be one. For Christ dwells only in sinners.' Martin Luther

When any of my family doesn't get the thing they want or things to turn out the way they want them to, I always tell them "God has something better for you". I said it so much to them, now they often say it too.
