Notice how this statement by Jenny"If you have a spirit that engages in dynamic and deep love, then you have fellowship with God." Fails to mention the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus himself said no man cometh unto the Father except by me. And that statement by Jesus makes the above statement by Jenny wrong, completely, absolutely, totally wrong!!!

---mima on 9/10/09

If you have a spirit that engages in dynamic and deep love, then you have fellowship with God.

That is what counts.

If you do not, you would have no interest in spending any time in or around heaven.
---Jenny on 9/9/09

You canNot believe in God without believing in Jesus Christ. The interpretation of Jesus Christ is, Jehova Savior The Anointed One of God. 1st. Tim 3 v 16. With out this, there would Not be heaven for God's People to go to.
---Lawrence on 9/8/09

without Christ we are dead. Without faith and belief that Jesus is the Savior of the World and crushed death.. we are dead.
It is God's command!
# 1 John 3:23
This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.
---lisa on 11/20/07

Eloy seems to think there is another way into heaven without Christ. He says, there is righteous people without Christ. So they automaticly get in without Christ. They don't need the righteousness of Christ to get in. No Atonement. False theory. All come short of the glory of God. Everyone. The Scripture passage in Matthew 9:13, is talking about self righteous people. Many other Scriptures give evidence that the condition of man without Christ is completely lost. Not one breath in him. Spiritually dead.

It's been interesting spending the past few weeks with y'all, and I have enjoyed the exchanges with you, and I have learned a lot about various perspectives on Christianity. I wish all of you the best in the Lord: health, happiness, and salvation. It's time for me to move on, and so I will. Peace to you!
---InimicusStultitiae on 10/23/07

Gordon, may God bless you richly. We both believe Jesus is Savior, and that makes me happy. Peace to you!
---InimicusStultitiae on 10/22/07

Yes. It is writen, that, there is no other
name under heaven given among men whereby
we must be Saved.
---Jack on 10/22/07

Inimicus Stultitiae, You are right, we have alot to rejoice about for our Salvation in Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA). But, it is important to know the Truth about Heaven and Hell as it's laid out in Holy Scripture. That way we can witness to the lost of the world about their predicament, their true need and the True Hope. YAH Bless! :-)
---Gordon on 10/21/07

Inimicus Stultitiae, It's important that you know the real Truth, because it's not just our Salvation at stake here. As a Saint, I'm pretty positive that GOD is going to require you, as He does me, to "share the Gospel of Salvation" with people around you and you're going to have to get the Biblical Facts straight in order to lead them to the Truth. Because some people couldn't care less about "dying without Salvation" if they are not informed about an Eternal Hell. YAHUVEH Bless you!
---Gordon on 10/20/07

Yes Jesus is the Only way! The Truth! The Light of the world! He that believes in Him has faith in Him will never die!
Thank you Jesus! My Lord, My God and My Saviour!
the King of all that exists!

No one else brought to the world what Christ
did, And it was not given to anyone else[eternallife]to present to us.

Gordon, we will just have to agree to disagree. Your salvation is secure. So is mine. God has saved us through no works of our own. Let us together rejoice in that.
---InimicusStultitiae on 10/19/07

Inimicus Stultitiae, Phil. 2:9-11 says that those who eternally perish will confess, meaning to ADMIT!, that Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA) is INDEED Lord after all. Jesus (YAHUSHUA) admonishes us, in Matthew 7:13-14 to enter the Narrow Gate for Eternal Life. Because W I D E is the Path to Destruction and MANY there are who go THERE AT! Matthew 22-23 says that MANY will say "Lord, Lord...!" and He will say "Depart from Me,YE WORKERS OF INIQUITY...!" Re-read these Verses and see!
---Gordon on 10/19/07

"EVERY knee will bow and EVERY tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord." This is at His second comming. The verse that says the men can only confess Jesus by the Holy Spirit is regarding while on earth prior to His second comming. Also that scripture of does not apply to liers who ARE able to say Jesus is lord without the Spirit for selfish gain

Gordon, peace and blessings! I beg to differ. All included in Phil.2:9-11 are saying Jesus is Lord. 1 Cor.12:3 says no one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, those in Philippians have the Holy Spirit and so must be saved. Don't you just rejoice because God is so gracious?
---InimicusStultitiae on 10/18/07

Inimicus Stultitiae, Philippians 2:9-11 means that regardless of whether you end up in Heaven OR Hell, you WILL acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA) is INDEED Lord! It is not saying that all will end up in Heaven. For those who will go to Hell, they've spent their Earthly lives living their own way, REJECTING the Lordship of Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA), but at their Judgement Day, they will see that they were WRONG and they will know that Jesus (YAHUSHUA) was truly LORD after all!
---Gordon on 10/18/07

If a person rejects Jesus, then Jesus will reject that person in heaven. But God is not unjust: The righteous souls whom never heard the gospel will go to heaven, and not to hell. Jesus said, "I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Matthew 9:10-13. Thus there are the righteous before Christ's arrival. Please read Romans 2:6-10,14,15,25-29.
---Eloy on 10/17/07

What kind of a question is this? NO! IS THE ANSWER.>>>Most people believes there is a God. If most people was saved what kind of a world would we have? I will tell you, 100% better than what it is. "If the whole world would except Jesus then follow would be universal peace". In other words: salvation brings peace. Peace between man and God man with man. Peace that only Jesus can give. Do you have this kind of peace? When Jesus comes calling welcome Him in.

Romans 5-18, 2 Corinthians 15:22, Ephesians 1:10, Philippians 2:9-11, Colossians 1:20, 1 Timothy 2:4, and 4:10 make it pretty clear that God intends to save the whole human race. Why anyone would not want him to is beyond my understanding.

Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA) Himself says in John 14:6 " I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life, NO MAN cometh unto the Father (GOD and Heaven) but by Me (Jesus/YAHUSHUA). So, you cannot possibly even KNOW GOD if you do not accept Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA) FIRST!
---Gordon on 10/17/07

Inimicus Stultitiae, You will find NO Scripture to back up your belief that ALL of mankind will eventually be Saved. That kind of believing is an excuse for people to live in their pleasurable sin and "still get into Heaven". But, the Lord GOD is not running it that way. Wide is the gate that leads to Destruction and MANY are there that go that way. Narrow is the Gate that leads to Life Everlasting and FEW there be that find it.

Jesus is not the Savior of all man-kind. Hell is a real place. God created it for the lost, unbelievers, and the wicked. Need I remind you, that Jesus came to save those that are lost. That is, the ones that was chosen before the foundation of this world. If you die without receiving the new birth, you my friend will go to hell. Stop listening to feel good messages. It is the Blood of Christ shedd by the hands of wicked men that saves a lost soul.

No, you cannot. The source of our Salvation is Jesus Christ. He is able to save(2 Tim. 1:12). He is willing to save(2 Peter 3:9). The only way to go to Heaven is through saving faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other way. The Bible tells us that all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Jesus tells us that no one goes to the Father but by me. God Bless!
---Cynthia on 10/16/07

Since God is the Savior of all mankind, everyone will eventually be saved. But it is always better to believe in Jesus if you have the opportunity and God gives you the grace. You will be much happier that way.

Jesus is the only way to the Father b/c He is the only one that God promised to send to redeem us(Dan 9:24-27).

Jesus is the only way B/C He was the only one who had the right to redeem us being a sinless man (Heb. 4:15). God required a perfect sacrifice for sin without spot or blemish (1PETER1:19).

Jesus is the only way b/c He is the only one who died and rose again from the dead, never to die again. His resurrection was proof that He paid the price of redemption. (Rom. 1:3-4).

No. Can I ask why you don't believe in Jesus? Jesus is the bread of life.(John 6:48)"I am the living bread which came down from heaven:If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."(John 6:51) Most importantly, Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way the truth and the life: no man cometh to the father except by me."(John 14:6)

To answer your question: In the Bible, in Acts 4:12, Peter being filled with the Holy Spirit said... "Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." This is clearly speaking of ONLY Jesus.
Read Acts chapter 4. It explains that this is indeed Jesus Christ the Lord.
Believe in Jesus or you will be lost and not get into heaven and there is only one other place for unbelievers and that is plainly, HELL!
---John on 1/7/07

To answer this question one must accept the Blessed Trinity,3 persons in one God, equally distinct & powerfull; so if you accept God & refuse the other2 you are out, all 3 are to be taken & accepted as One powerful & everloving God & their acceptance in perfection will give you the ticket to enter heaven. One must be spotless because nothing defiled can enter heaven.so dont worry about going to heaven but worry about following Him Keeping His commandments & working on the purity of your soul.

---lily on 1/2/07

John 5:19-24 answers this perfectly. Jesus, the Son of our Living God, does exactly as He has seen His Father do. Because the Father loves Jesus, He shows Him everything He does. He has also given ALL judgement to Jesus so that He will be honored in the same way as we honor the Father. In fact, whomever doesn't honor the Son dishonors the Father. In verse 24 Jesus tells us that hearing and believing this and believing in the Father assures us eternal life.
---AlwaysOn on 1/1/07

If you don't believe in Jesus, you surely shall not get into heaven. There is just one other place and that is hell. The Word of God is very clear on this. Jesus Christ is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE.

1) No. Read John chapter 8
14Jesus answered, "Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. 15You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. 16But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. 17In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid.
---christina on 12/31/06

2) 18I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me." 19they asked him, "Where is your father?" "You do not know me or my Father," "If you knew me, you would know my Father also." 21Once more Jesus said to them, "I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come." 22This made the Jews ask, "Will he kill himself? Is that why he says, 'Where I go, you cannot come'?"
---christina on 12/31/06

3) 23But he continued, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be,[a] you will indeed die in your sins."
25"Who are you?" they asked.
"Just what I have been claiming all along," Jesus replied. 26"I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is reliable, and what I have heard from him I tell the world."
---christina on 12/31/06

4)27They did not understand that he was telling them about his Father. 28So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the one I claim to be and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. 29The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him." 30Even as he spoke, many put their faith in him.

Yet you are ready to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you do what you have heard from your father." 39"Abraham is our father," they answered."If you were Abraham's children," said Jesus, "then you would do the things Abraham did.
---christina on 12/31/06

6) 41You are doing the things your own father does."
"We are not illegitimate children," they protested. "The only Father we have is God himself."42Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. 43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire.

7)...not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."
58"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

Jesus said there is one God his Father and he is a Spirit that seeks us to worship him in spirit and truth, And that the Father is in him the Son of God, He said that his Father was his God and my God if I believe he is the Son of God the only begotten of the Father. God said he is one God and there is no other.there is not one place that says there is three Gods so it is incorrect to say that . Jesus is the fullness of God in a Body the only way to God. God is one in three persons (Father, Son - Jesus, and Holy Spirit) - like an egg is one with three parts (shell, yoke, and white). Jesus Christ is the only way into Heaven and to God as the Bible says, because He is God.

Just to "believe in God" does not get anybody to heaven. There are many, many people who say they believe in God, but they do not know Him.
