God wants us to stay busy doing something. Any job that does not involve, robbing, stealing and committing other sins. Everything we do should glorify and honor God. If you have doubts about what type work you do, it is probably not pleasing to God. We should repent and ask the Lord to provide something more glorifying to Him

Find someone in church who's hiring, show up do your utmost, condemn your own complaints and be an earner of heavenly reward.(Do all for Jesus)

Stay where you are, prosper your employer until God brings the next one.

If you do well where you are you'll always at least be able to change employers on good report.

any job that you do to the best of your ablity is pleasing to God, as long as you aren't allowing others to fall deeper into sin.

JOBS===Any job God gives you is pleasing to Him, if you don't run. He is such a good boss. As long as you hang in there, He won't fire you. If you try to run He may even go and get you. On the other hand, He may use you as an example of the Israelites and kill you.

By jobs that look bad or may shame the Lord I meant jobs like bartending or exotic dancing. Some have been so foolish as to think they can glorify God as a stripper.
Slavery is against one's will. And if slavery would please God we should be willing to endure it for his sake.

If you ask me slavery looks bad but Paul said to remain there and be a good witness. It's the individual that is the witness and their ability to be strong in the Lord and the power of his might, If a person is influenced by their job and it is causing them to fall then it would be a good Idea to do something else.

The word of God says not to do anything that would bring shame to the Lord or the ministry. Jesus said to render to Caesar the things that be Caesar's. Any job that will not make the Lord or his ministry look bad should suffice.

I think that is a wonderful job and very interesting but I still would not compromise my beliefs but I would do my best and God will bless the work of your hands so as for you to be a witness and a light to those around you, you are the only Jesus some people will ever come in contact with let the Son be revealed in your life.

My job, at least in winter is mundane. My job involves sorting fossils for a musium. It requires you accept evolution and have AT LEAST a degree in the physical sciences. In summer I go to various digs in the west. I am, becoming very focused on pliesticine strata forms.

Any job would please God as long as it is the one He has called you to do. Sometimes he will just open the doors for you to do that job... sometimes he will give you certain talents... sometimes he will give you desires for a certain industry and I believe God puts those desires within you. Regardless... He will guide you as long as you are yeilding to His spirit.

Peter-fisherman, Mathew-tax collector, Paul-tent maker. Whatever you do, do heartily as unto the Lord.

Any job would please God, as long as it lines up with His Word, and it is His will for you to be there. Pray that God will uproot you from every job He does not want you in, and that He would plant you in the job that He wants you in. Also ask God to show you what job He wants you in.

Any job that does not involve sin would please God. He says in His Word that whatever we do should be done to His glory.
