God doesn't lead people into hard places, people get themselves in hard places by disobedience. If you notice, when people disobey God's word, they can get themselves into a trial and then wonder, "Why am I here?" Did God lead the Israelites into the wilderness? or was it themselves who got them there by their murmuring and complaining? Was Joseph led into Egypt or was it because his brothers threw him in a ditch and was plotting to kill him?

God, certainly will lead His people into hard or difficult places. I will also state, that Satan can make these places or getting to them twice as hard if we bow to HIM or listen to his threats. God, on the other hand from time to time keeps Satan at bay. So I suppose to look at all the evidence, this can be summed up as [TEST'S]

The Bible says that the pharisees blasphemied when they said Jesus had an unclean spirit. In like manner to assume that those who are tried while having Christ in their hearts by faith and led of his Spirit are disobediant is borderline blasphemy. But then again, the disobedience teaching of trials makes the Lord the one they obviously think is the greatest transgressor. After all, He was put to death after a life of poverty and trials.

Boy, I bet they think Paul was a real sinner. The way he lists all of his troubles. He and Silas must have had a real hold on disobedience that was only rivaled by Peter and John on the Isle of Patmos.

The Lord allows things to come at us to make us stronger. I guess Job was disobediant or out of God's will. Maybe Epaphroditas, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, as well as all those who were beaten, stoned, sawn asunder with trials of cruel mockings. The train of thought about being disobediant will lead many to fall when they are tried just prior to the Lord's return. No wonder it says there shall be a great falling away.

shelby, many here have responded with a yes answer. not me. my response is we almost exclusively manuever ourselves in hard places with decisions and choices outside of Gods word.or simply we discbey God.the israleites could have made it to the [promise land in days ,yet they stumbled around for 40 years because of discbidience.the same for us friend.actually we usually run into the hard places without thinking first.

** I can tell you right now, God has put me in some hard places. And YES, I did get upset with GOD. Ofcourse, I did not get away with it. I hope that I will do better in the future.**

And just why do you think you need the Church--specifically the fellowship local congregation, Catherine?

Too bad you rejected it because they were not spiritual enough for you.

Sometimes God does take you through fire, but it is only to grow and mature you.

God allows hardship to discipline his children much the same way a parent disciplines the child. God discipline those that He loves. I was homeless twice because of certain circumstances, but I believe God prepared me when I hitchhiked across the country for a year and a half and, at times, had to survive in the streets. God was with me as I traveled, meeting thousands of people in all walks of life. I kept a journal and still contact a few of the people i met.

part II --- Jas 1:14 But every man is tested when he is turned out of the right way by the attraction of his desire.
Jas 1:15 Then when its time comes, desire gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is of full growth, gives birth to death.

part I --- Jas 1:12 There is a blessing on the man who undergoes testing; because, if he has God's approval, he will be given the crown of life, which the Lord has said he will give to those who have love for him.
Jas 1:13 Let no man say when he is tested, I am tested by God; for it is not possible for God to be tested by evil, and he himself puts no man to such a test:

I do not think that God makes things hard but that Satan hinders the people of God and trys to keep them from accomplishing God's will. There will be trials and temptations in life and when you go through them always return unto the Lord your God.

I've been in hard places, but I never thought God pushed me there. Now while I was in the hard places I've never got angry with God, I never doubted his constant indwelling, and I admit I was much perplexed but every time I have asked him to help me he has been in God on the spot!! Let us praise his holy name!! Thank you Jesus !

Through the trials of life God will increase our faith, our perseverance so that he can do His perfect work in us.
Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of our faith worketh patience.
Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

greetings. If one decides to go into hard places then the Father will go with you even to the ends of the earth. This rock is the hardest place I know. There are no soft spots 'here' among the living. We were not given the option to live a life on a world that is easier than this one.We have only to endure to the end. Those who live elsewhere may never experience living as we do.On this rock ,many will bail even when He leads us beside still waters.

but deliver us from evil.

If this is where He has led you, He's with you in them.

And if He has not, He's with you while you seek the way out to get back on the path He wishes you to follow.

I could write a book on this! So bear with me.

We are called to tread on scorpions and serpents (Luke 10:19) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (KJV)

Now, how are we going to do that? Con't

#2 If we walk along in nice shag carpeting, and on soft sand and green grass, how are our feet going to be prepared to walk on scorpions? One sting and our foot would start to swell up and turn black--not a good thing. If on the other hand, we have been taking 50 mile hikes through the desert with God, then a scorpion sting wouldn't even make it through the first layer of callous Cont

#3 As a result, if God has led you into a tough place, just think of it as training so that we can march on snakes and scorpions and not be hurt at all.

He lead the Israelites through 40 years of hard time (until they learned their lesson). Some of us learn our lessons the hard way! But, when we are done learning them, we are tough as nails.
