Because God will not violate our free will and does not stop the consequences of our bad choices and abuse of it.

To say more is to look for a rational reason for totally irrational things.

The bad stuff really in this life is pretty much equal out, between the saints, the wicked, the unbelievers and all in between. If things are too good for God's people here in this world, are we going to be as gun ho in getting to Heaven? I don't think so. The great news is in all of this, We, God's people, have God to help us. Something the wicked cannot boast about.

There has to be bad along with the good. It's balance. Sometimes when bad things happen most often good comes out of it. I went on vacation last year and I was stuck in a hotel for 2 days with food poisoning. Excatly two days after I got back, a wheel bearing on my car broke. If I hadnt been stuck in the hotel I wouldve been out driving around seeing the sights. Good can come from bad if one just looks for it. Its just the balance of Nature.

I beleive God gave us freewill and he's not willing to violate it. If we don't ask for him to intervene he won't. Bad things happen for a variety of reasons, none of which were God's original hope for us. First, they can be a direct result of sin. (STD's for example) Secondly they can be because we live in a fallen world. Some bad things happen because we live in a physical world with laws that keep our feet stuck to the earth and the planet in orbit.

Job's story is the best for why God allows (not causes) bad things to happen. Satan went strolling earth then came to God to stir up trouble. God pointed Job out because he had faith he would remain strong. Satan went to work trying to break Job by taking all of his children and possessions. Yet Job did not curse God. After making it through the fire God never told Job that he had lost it all to win a victory in a spiritual battle. I wonder of Job's thankfulness for the suffering when he entered heaven

First of all, God didnt will 4 these things 2 happen. It is all of the devil 2 make people believe it is God cos He created all. God is a God of peace, love etc. God loves all of His created beings and He will never destroy them lest they choose 2 be disobedient n loose salvation.Man is defiant in his ways too n all 2often they mess up n blame God

From Genesis man has been ungracious to God.Man creates a chain of events abhorrent to God.Man's a gullible creature His chain of disobedience & depravity has produced Catastrophes like The Deluge Sodom Gommorah wars, greed, power these are the forbidden fruits & the idols that Man serves; not statues, like in the olden days these are the idols of Today. Jesus warns us of this unprepardness, be ready & in the state of Grace.Sins of the flesh,is like spitting in Gods face.Mankind needs education.

Nan: This world is only temporary. Whatever decisions we make today determine where we go in the next world. Blessed are those that rise during the first resurrection at the second coming of Christ. Christians who were persecuted and killed in Jesus' name will follow Christ. All the other people will need to account for their deeds here on Earth at the second resurrection - at Judgement Day.

Earl.
(greetings.for deputy. Is it true that Jesus identified his self as one who injures and wounds?)
Sir, I truelly don't understand how you come up with that conclusion. Jesus came to this world to give his life for our sins, I don't know what you're trying to say, but anyway. My respects to your interpretation of the 'Bible'. God Bless!

I believe we all have this question at times because we are all human. I believe that for every "bad" that happens, God sends something good in order for His Perfect Will to be fulfilled. All of our questions will be answered "one fine day." God bless you and your friend, and I pray your friend will find God's Love, Peace, and Joy.

All the Choas and violence in our world has a purpose. Things must happen here on earth to fulfill all that is written in the Word of GOD (Bible).
When you face hard times consider this;

Job 5:17&18
"Blessed is the man whom GOD corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty, For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal."

Thank you heavenly Father!

greetings.p2.All potential mortal ascention beings will have choices to make .Our future depends upon making the correct ones.If we were to have lived long ago we would have experienced more violence and disasters.History is good proof. If we were to be born in the future we may experience less violence and less disasters .Spiritual development is slow motion. The eventual condition of our real estate is that the "meek shall inherit the Earth".The arrogant shall not.

greetings.p3.Man must experience living so that he or she will be able to make the decision to continue in the next life. With out experience poor decisions are made. This is not heaven or paradise. It is our by our Father's will in us that we will someday make this rock a perfect place to live. The phrase "God allow" is a clouded one.The return of the son of man will greatly assist us in our goal of achieving perfection some day.
---earl on 1/31/07

Because the heart of man is desparately wicked who can know it? Man starts walking in his own will instead of the will of God and they force others to do so too. People go out of their way to force the true heirs to fall so that they can take their places. This has been happening for quite some time.

greetings. We are born with the potential to commit evil. The beast lives within us.We are also born with the potential to do good,God lives within us.On worlds that have achieved perfection evil is not present. On worlds such as this one where greed is flourishing violence is common place.Disasters are common but two reasons are most recognized;the destruction of the enviroment and the forces of nature. Our young planet is yet stabilized.Earth is mostly physical and minutely spiritual,a work in progress.
