What do you consider miracle? Those who follow and bring to Jesus are his disciples. He gave to his disciples the ability to heal and cast demons. Am I wrong?

If these miracles make people worship God more and fall "Crazy in love with Jesus", then they are TRUE miracles from God.

No. The Spirit speaks expressly, that in these latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrine of devils. There will be spirits of devils working miracles, and no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel (messenger) of light. There shall arise false prophets, and [a] false Christ, and show great signs and wonders, all empowered and influence of Satan, to mislead and entrap all who take pleasure in his unrighteousness. Walk by faith, not by sight.

Nope! I would find out what he was preaching and watch for other fruits in his life. Satan's demons can appear to do miracles.

If I saw a man "performing miracles" I would run the other way. Not for a second would I assume him to be a man of God. It is God who does miracles, not man and if any man lifts himself up he is not of God.

Did I give that last answer ... if so it was months ago, and the blog has been ressurected.
God performs the miracle, not the man.

If it truly was a miracle, yes.

The Word in 1 John4:1-2 tells us that we are never to assume anything but we must be wise and test what we see and hear to validate it against Scripture.
1jo 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1jo 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

Exo 7:10And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
Exo 7:11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.
Exo 7:12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

God's power hardens the un-repented heart.

NEVER assume anything about that. The Devil can use people too, to do miracles in order to bring followers to false prophets. He is very good at disguising himself as an "Angel of Light" or a "Wolf in Sheeps Clothing".

greetings.What is a miracle?
---earl on 2/1/07

Quite right, Susie.

I've said the only test for the spiritual validity of any sign or miracle is the fruit of it in the lives of the people involved, and what doctrine comes with it.

There was one of these intinerant prophets who would "minister in prophecy"--but stood up in the pulpit and actually denied the physical Resurrection of Jesus.

Nevertheless, the people (except me) were eating this up with a spoon.
