Who should witness who?

Jesus is the Messiah whose coming was promised in the Old Testament and that he was resurrected after his crucifixion. Non-trinitarian Christians profess various other interpretations regarding his divinity. In Islam, Jesus is considered one of God's most beloved and important prophets, a bringer of divine scripture, a worker of miracles, and the Messiah.

I do not know the author, but I would encourage every muslim to read the book written by a muslim lady, "I DARE TO CALL HIM FATHER" and another excellent book by Mary Baxter "A DIVINE REVELATION OF HEAVEN" and "A DIVINE REVELATION OF HELL"

I have a very kind Muslim friend named Benazir, and she is tottaly commited to her religion, and we've talked about it ALOT!!! But just the other day she asked me about my religion (which she never does) and asked what I believe about God. I know what
I do is just keep acting the way God would have me act, and I stay active in her life. She knows i care, and I think thats what some people need right now. They just need to see God's love through us.

we need to know a little about the Muslim faith before you can witness to them. for one Men shouldn't talk to women and women shouldn't talk to men. the next thing is only use a new bible, if you use a marked up bible they will shut you down because they think you don't respect God's word. Also never set it down on the ground, and never carry it below the waist or with your left hand. Live your faith, we are all victims of stereotypes, if we live our faith they will see the gospel in clearer light.

To be a powerful witness, you need the power of God. Walking the walk and not just talking the talk . True, unbelievers can put on a great act, that is all it is an act. We, as true Christians, have to show this world what God is really like.

I'm a muslim, content, fulfiled and see no reason to revert to christianity. one advice - change attitudes to muslims &don't believe stereotypes. We're as intelligent and human as anyone else. The MAJORITY of muslims don't hate christians. I've had so many born-again christians telling me I hate them, not interested in my opinion! I've never met a muslim who hates christians - only USA politics. They exist but so do muslim haters. REALLY LISTEN to us & don't judge by what you've learnt from the media.

I agree with Francis' post.
---Mima on 2/3/07

YOU are so right Francis. BUT unbelievers can do just about everything in this world that believers can, even preach and quote scriptures. ONE reason why nobody knows what the truth is and the DEVIL, well now, he is having an absolute wonderful time.

"... No need to quote scriptures or preach, just live right. Be kind, a great giver, smile, be polite, ..."
Catherine, there are many people who do those things but have nothing to do with Christ or even reject Him. Beware, good moral behaviour can easily be countefeited for Christianity!

We can start w/letting them know we don't hate them, but love them even if that love's not returned. We can share how Christ instructed us to avoid revenge and violence and to love everyone, even enemies who've harmed us as in Matthew 5:38-48. Assuring them that we know they seek and honor an intimate relationship with God, we can share that Jesus loves them more than anyone else ever can, has or will. There are many more ways, but in light of our current controversies, this may be useful.

the best way to witness is be friendly n invite them into your home for dinner etc. In time they will come to respect n trust u and as they will see your actions, your habits or your christian ways of love, patience, longsuffering, gentleness, meekness etc, the H/S will prick their conscience n ask questions. Theres your opportunity 2 witness thru your answers 2 their questions.

If every true Christian in this world, would just witness with their life, that would be a big help. No need to quote scriptures or preach, just live right. BE kind, a great giver, smile, be polite, putting self last. God first, other people second. EVEN doing all of that, one needs the help of God.

I listened to a testimony by one who got saved that he responded when he personally witnessed the supernatural power of God in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He is now preaching everywhere with the signs following and winning thousands. He said they showed him Jesus by what Jesus did and he received it.

Use the 10 Commandments along with the Gospel, and do it in LOVE. LOVE will conquir hate every time.
---Leslie on 2/1/07

Wittness to Muslims the same way you wittness to anybody else, through the love of Christ Jesus.
---Ryan on 2/1/07

Well, if you go to them quoting the Bible, it won't work, because they are taught IN SO MANY WORDS that both Old and New Testaments are corrupted, and only the Quran contains the true Word of God.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

The crucifixion is the point that reveals the weak link in the Muslim belief system.

It's where their Prophet makes the assumption that Jesus the Jew didn't die on the cross.

If you can run to the shadows with that corner of the truth you can twist the rest and nearly eliminate the resurrection (what makes Jesus different) and his ascension- what proves him God.
