-- Kathr :

No such scripture tells us we take a VOW to deny the flesh.---kathr

Sister, .... and neither did nor have I !!!

Don't take one paragraph out of the context of a series of three post, and then twist what happens to actually be in that paragraph, just so you can make the fruitless speculation... Maybe the Holy Spirit took a vow work in us.---kathr... Which by the way there is no such scripture telling us as much.

Good Day

To Whosoever Has An Ear To Hear?

Salvation isn't lost, it's redeemed by all our Heavenly Father has given to Jesus to raise up again at the Last Day(John 6:39), being Born-Again by a Sincere Vow of repentance to deny the will of the flesh.

No such scripture tells us we take a VOW to deny the flesh. WE have no such POWER in us to do any such thing. Their is why we Identify in HIS DEATH.

When you are born again, Romans 8:11-13 say the Spirit in us is putting to death mortifying, the deeds of the flesh. Maybe the Holy Spirit took a vow work in us.

How are you Mrs Morgan? I am glad to see you are still around here. I do not know how long I will be posting here But I would Just like to say hello to you. You know we could be cousins by that Cherokee blood. And I know we are By the Blood of the Lamb.
We have to be born Again to become Spiritual Jews. All who are born of the Flesh are of the first Adam but those Born of the Spirit are the resurrection children and you know who is the resurrection, the second Adam Jesus our Lord, The first Adam was of the earth but the second is the Lord from heaven, All have been the image of the earthy but we who are Born of the Spirit bear the image of the Heavenly.

Mrs. Morgan was a wise woman of God so I will repeat her post from this blog. She wrote: (2/6/07)

"What does it take to become a True Christian? ACCEPTING the Drawing of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is a priceless invitation, but that invitation can be foolishly rejected (Matt.22,14). The born-again experience changes people (I John 5:4,12,18-20), but people can backslide into bondage (their old sinful ways) if they don't CONTINUE & ABIDE in God's Word/Truth, allow it to beome a part of them. Some are more zealous about sports events and socializing than they are about becoming one with the Word/Truth, and that is very sad. God Bless!

To Whosoever Has An Ear To Hear?

Salvation isn't lost, it's redeemed by all our Heavenly Father has given to Jesus to raise up again at the Last Day(John 6:39), being Born-Again by a Sincere Vow of repentance to deny the will of the flesh.

If you're still or later going to choose a sinful lifestyle, God just as any Child knows your Vow wasn't sincere & didn't receive His Grace!

The Power of God's Grace Saves 'Sincere Repenters', by Drawing us into the Obedience unto Death of Christ, to Seal us with the Lord's Spirit of Promise to redeem Salvation unto Eternal Life : by the Strength of His Hand we daily Trusting in & put on the Full Armor of God :who's Greater than all and NO MAN is able to pluck us out of His hand.

To Whosoever Has An Ear To Hear? 1

The enemy(the devils) believes & trembles(James 2:19) at the Word of God BUT because they are the darkness of this world, they're unable to comprehend & hear the 'Truth of God's Light in His Word', to be Drawn into Saving Faith : The Light Shines in darkness but the darkness comprehended it not John 1:5.

We as 'Living Souls' Comprehend & Hear the Truth of God's Light but ONLY through resisting the dark devilish will of our flesh and we're Converted & 'BORN-AGAIN' by a 'Sincere Vow of Repentance' to deny the will of our flesh, upon which God's Grace Draws us into Saving Faith in Christ, where we submit to His Obedience into Death Living in us.
---Shawn_M.T. on 6/6/09

To Whosoever Has An Ear To Hear? 2

God isn't Deceived nor does His Grace Save the 'Insincere Repentance' of Believers like in James 5:19-20 & Luke 12:45-46, who later choose to 'Apostatize' by rejecting the Spirit to live in sin, never Sincerely denying the will of their flesh to be Born-Again & Drawn into Saving Faith in Christ, by their Vow of Repentance !

A 'BRETHREN' is a BELIEVER of Christ endeavoring to do wonderful works in His Name as a 'SERVANT' but not all of them who've said Lord Lord, are Converted & 'BORN-AGAIN', and shall still be Judged as a evil hearted unbelieving worker of iniquity who Christ doesn't know & never knew(Matt.7:21-23)

Acts 2:38 (King James Version)

38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Seems to me someone was mocking that term Born-again, One time on here. I am glad someone took the time to prove that it is scripture. BORN-AGAIN
---catherine on 2/21/07

jesus explained to nicodemus, unless one is born again he will not enter into the kingdom of God.how can a man enter into the womb again, jesus explained further . born of the spirit.
---tom2 on 2/21/07

Unless you are born-again, you will NOT enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. You must ask Christ into your heart and make Him your Lord & Savior. Being a Christian (Christ-like, follower of Christ) means you must die to yourself and give it all to God.
---Leslie on 2/11/07

You cannot change unless you are born-again.Jesus has to come and live in you.Why are we born-again? So we can get to heaven.
---catherine on 2/9/07

Steven, a great answer. I know that you don't need my approval, but you have it anyways.
---catherine on 2/9/07

One is born-again for Salvation. It takes your whole life to become a Christian. Christ says, "If you all love me, My Commandments keep." John 14:15 Real Christians DO the works of Christ. Please read what Jesus says about the cost of salvation in Luke 14:25-35.
---Eloy on 2/8/07

We are born into this world a sinner, making us unfit to enter the Kingdom of God. To be born again you must believe with all your heart that Jesus is the Christ and is born of God. Your mind is then transformed so not to be conformed to this world. You must also be baptised to receive the Holy Spirit. Time is short, the end is upon us, and now is the time to prepare for your calling.

I can only tell you why I became born again. I was searching for the real meaning of life and why God put us here. God introduced me to people who were already "In Christ Jesus" and I began to live my life for Jesus. I wanted meaning to my life, and a very close relationship with God. I got that through being a Christian. It takes Loving God with all of your heart and soul to be a true Christian and much more...

*Correction: (II.) I would like to point out the context of(Matt.22:14)and (Matthew 20:16) can be discerned as being about Salvation [And/Or] the [infilling] of the Holy Spirit...which are 2 different experiences. In the context of (Matt. 20:16)&(Matt.22:14) Jesus calls the person [friend] meaning they are saved, but lack something(and in Matthew 22:14 are "speechless"), the Baptism of the Holy Ghost/Fire, in which Jesus COMMANDED His people to receive. God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 2/8/07

(IV.)"Many are called and FEW are chosen" can be applied to either salvation(Matt. 7:13,14,21,23) And/Or the infilling of the Holy Spirit , and the Rapture. (Matt. 22:14) & (Matthew 20:16)'s context is in regard to the infilling of the Holy Spirit(which is a precious [vital] gift, just like salvation is) & the Rapture . God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 2/8/07

(V.)The [Parable of the 10 Virgins] is another example of "Many are called but Few are chosen" , but isn't about [salvation], this too is about the Infilling of the Holy Spirit, like the context of(Matt. 22:1-14), once again, the meaning of "many are called but few are chosen" is RELATIVE, can either be about salvation and/or the Infilling of the Holy Spirit(which some try to omit the importance of). God wants His people to obey Him in ALL things. God Bless!

(II.) I would like to point out that (Matthew 22:14)and (Matthew 20:16) can be discerned as being about Salvation [And / Or] the [infilling] of the Holy Spirit(Receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost), which are 2 different experiences. In (Matt. 20:16) Jesus calls the person [friend] this means they are saved, but they are lacking something(are speechless), that being the Baptism of the Holy Ghost/Fire, in which Jesus COMMANDED His people to receive. God Bless!
---Mrs._Morgan on 2/7/07

(III.) Some are taught wrong, believing they are to STOP at Salvation, but no, the Word makes it very clear to go on [after] Salvation and receive the Baptism in the Holy Ghost[the infilling]of the Holy Spirit as recorded in the Book of Acts, Paul taught Salvation, and [after] that the Baptism in the Holy Ghost(Acts 19:2). God Bless!

Amen Susie..

IN Jonh 3 Jesus explained the reason. In Romans5:19 Paul showed that by one man's sin many were made sinners(spiritually dead & separated from God), but by One Man's obedience many shall be made righteous(born from above & placed in right-standing w/ God).
To be a true christian you have to truly be yourself.
