Must Have Shedding Of Blood

Ephesians 2:13 states," But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ." Does this mean without the shedding of Christ blood on our behalf we could never have been accepted?

Christ's blood is the ONLY thing that makes us acceptable to God.

.(ii) Upon which you became a new creature in Christ; Born again. It is this new found faith in Christ that has saved us by the grace of God; and now we are part of the body of Christ. We are not perfect and we are still sinner, but in Gods eyes when he looks at Christ he sees no condemnation in those who are in Christ, only righteous perfection. And without being seen this way we never could be accepted into heaven.

Without the shedding of Blood there is no remission of sins (Hebrews 9:22). Sin is what keeps man apart from God. So without Christ's Blood being applied to one's life there is separation from God.

ONLY Christ's blood can bridge the gap between God and humans.

greetings. Are any of the atonement doctrines accurate ?Did God ,Jesus' Father Our Father gain satisfaction from a bleeding son destroyed by blood thirsty men?Is this the nature of God that Our Father is?What did Jesus treach his children how to find favor in God ?Did God's spirit direct the jews to disregard the his commandment? What did Jesus teach on the entrance into the gates of heaven?Who's philosophy is this that for God to forgive one must die with God's stamp of approval?

Those people were saved The prist went in to the holy of holy's and offer up sacrafice
for his own sins and then for the people sins
for a nother year they were under a different dispansation the last one that was saved in that erra was the thief on the cross
After that then we are saved by grace

mima, the definition of nigh is near too, along side of,close, beside.this scripture tells that if christ is in you you who were sometimes far away from him are made nigh by the the blood which christ shed. or better by his act of redemption you are acceptable to God and are ,or can draw nigh to God.

mima, the wondeful thing about jesus,s dying for us which many christians fail to realize is,that they no longer have to live alone in the world. they now have the power to live apart from the world in the presence of God as inheritors, his children.we are his children.and we should always want to be nigh too him.

If Christ blood had not been shed we would still be under the old covenant. So did the ones that were under that covenant not go to heaven?

Mima
If you mean accepted into heaven? Then YES! It is saying that we all have been drawn near to God by the blood of Christ.

We have the honor of being accepted into heaven because of the blood of the lamb! The blood of Christ has made all things clean in the eye of God. This does not make you clean, unless you accept Christ as your Lord & Savior and repent for your sins.
