Romans 7:24-25, 8:1 "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

If God had not drew me to himself. I would fear the Judgement as I did before I was saved. However one of the blessing of being saved is that I am secure in Christ and need not fear condemnation from God because he has justified me through his son. Anyone who says they are clean is deceived. We are unclean and the only thing that can clean us is the blood of Christ.
---Marcia on 7/17/07

My heart is clean. So if Jesus would come back now, he would find my heart clean and pure. But I will still face judgement from God. He is going to judge the just and the unjust.
---Rebecca_D on 7/17/07

Am I a clean person? Don't make me cry. Not clean enough. God is forever working to clean me up. No, I am not kidding. I am serious. I asked God one time. "Jesus, do you ever consider your self working hard." And He said== which I didn't even expect an answer. He said, "only with you." And then I said, "thanks alot Jesus." HA.

your absolutely wrong there Leslie, my own opinion. I consider myself a clean person infact fussy physically, and spiritually, from birth, we all r not sinless...dirty, no way. Sinful, absolutely
---jana on 2/28/07

In the natural I am unclean. In the spiritual I have been may clean by the blood of The Lord Jesus Christ. And before the rapture I will be changed in the twinkling of an eye and thereafter clean in the natural and the spiritual. And I will never face judgment for my salvation because that is a settled matter having been accepted in the beloved. My works will be judged(since I've been saved) but not my salvation.

Leslie you said, "Christians WILL face the judgement of fire. Will you come out smelling like smoke from being burned up, or like roses from passing through?"
Christian do not go through the fire. Their works do.
Our works shall be tried by fire and those (works) that remain will cause the Christian to receive rewards.

Leslie, if I keep all of the Commandments perfectly that still does not mean that I am a Christian or clean.
I am a sinner because I was born a sinner. This applies to you also.
I am not redeemed because I kept the Commandments but because I accepted Christ's sacrifice.
I was Born Again not because of what I did or didn't do but because of what Jesus did.
---Elder on 2/19/07

If you want to continue to live by the old law, go for it. For me I live by the new law. Mt 22:36-40, Mk 12:29-33, Jn 14:21, Jn 15:10-13. I have done those things while I was a sinner, but I lived in sin and I didn't care. Now I am a child of God, I put away childish things.

TEST of cleanliness: 10 Commandments: Have you ever lied = lier, have you ever stolen something, including not tithing = thief, have you ever placed something/someone before God or made a god to suit yourself = idolity, have you ever looked with lust at someone = adultry, have you ever hated someone or been angry with someone = murder, have you ever used God's name as a cussword = blasphemy. These are just 7 of the 10. How did you do?
---Leslie on 2/19/07

Leslie: How dare you say that one's heart isn't clean with God? Who are you to judge one's heart with God? A person knows where their heart lies with God. My heart is clean, no I am not perfect, but the spirit within me is. And that is Christ Jesus. Remember every word you say God will judge.
---Rebecca_D on 2/18/07

Be Holy as I am Holy. I am born again filled with the Spirit having been forgiven. After knowing God for many years I have come to a point where I God is showing me that I am unclean and calling me to live a Holy life. But God beening God he'll show you away out. What he has revealed to me is this. There is a futher work of the Spirit. David mentions this clean hands and a pure heart. Christians this is what we need not just forgiven but cleansed, made holy. Then God will move powerfully through our lives

Hi Leslie; I'm sensing you do not have the gift of encouragement! :D It seems (maybe I'm wrong though) that you are a very harsh and rough person; not saying you're mean but you're not gentle!
---Mary on 2/17/07

I am NOT perfect, but I do ask for forgivness and repent of my sin daily. For those of you that think you are clean and right with God, you decieve yourself, and the TRUTH is NOT in you. Only Jesus Christ can set you free.
---Leslie on 2/17/07

Yes that is the right verses. We all need to be careful on what we say to others.
---Rebecca_D on 2/17/07

Rebecca - I'm not sure if this is the passage you are thinking of but Matthew 12:36, 37 says: "But I say to you that every idle word, whatever men may speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned."

I believe we are accountable for our words. My Study Bible says this passage (Matthew 12:33-37) indicates that our words are an expression of our character.

Rebecca,
How then do you reconcile that point of view with the other scriptures I pointed out?
---BRUCE5656 on 2/16/07

Bruce: 2 Cor 5:10. Notice it says ALL. I know that I read just the other day about whatever comes out of our mouth, God will judge. I know it is in the NT, I don't know if it was Paul's teachings but I do know that this man was a preacher. And was giving instructions on preaching.

PART THREE:
Rebecca,
How is it that "Everything that Christians say, God will judge." when we are told Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus..."? There will be no jugment for sin for the Christian. That judgment took place on Calvary.

PART TWO:
Romans 3:25, "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;" God has said that he will not remember our sins any more. Why would He break His word and bring them up in judgment? Hebrews 8:12, "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more."
---BRUCE5656 on 2/15/07

Christians WILL face the judgement of fire. Will you come out smelling like smoke from being burned up, or like roses from passing through?
---Leslie on 2/15/07

I totally agree that we won't face the same judgement as the sinners. Thank God for that.
---Rebecca_D on 2/15/07

Rebecca, yes I agree, but we are not going to face the same judgement that non-believers, non-Christians face, amen?

Donna; God is going to judge the just and the unjust. Everything that Christians say, God will judge.
---Rebecca_D on 2/14/07

A TRUE child of God does NOT face judgement. We've already been made clean because of the word we received when we were saved. We are washed in the blood of the Lamb, sanctified, justified and made holy in the sight of God.
---donna6598 on 2/14/07

My righteousness is as filthy rags. But, I am righteous in Christ Jesus and that makes me clean! His blood washed all my sins away and I am guaranteed a place with Him.
---Susie on 2/14/07

greetings.Does the psalmist say,"Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgement, not the sinners in the congregation of the righteous".What is the true meaning of the resurection of the just and the unjust? Will evil be resurected to live?
