I never thought that islam played a role at all. Other than a persecuter of Christians, so possibly something with the Anti-Christ. But don't they think they believe in the same God as Christians do?

We are today in a line of things that have progressed from a word called freedom of choice( Making the Right Soul Saving Choice) and the unmerited favor of Grace, Whereby we are given the opportunity to be Heirs and joint heirs with Christ Just as the Children of Israel when they repent either now or through the Great tribulation?. (without boasting) :)

God was true to his promise and Abraham received the son Issac that God promised would be born from his own wife Sara despite her age. Because both Sara and Abraham disbelieved based on her age, she decided to Give Hagar her handmaiden to Abraham in order to achieve a child to Inherit Abraham's wealth. Ishmael was still blessed but not with the lineage of Issac. God people could not come from illegitimacy regardless of what man will do.

Does this mean that you think that Gods people today are a result of birthright?

John

The child he promised Sarah and she laughed thinking she was too old. Hagar had a son Ishmael and his generation would be blessed the same as Issac's because of Sarah disobedience to wait this brought in the division because of the birth rights of the first born. I guess even the Muslims reject this theory since they would have to accept that the Jews are the rightful owners of Israel and the land they possess and that they are not who they claim to be!

Make no mistake they do not believe in the God of the Christians. But acknowledge Abraham Ishmael Jesus Elijah and various other prophets and see Christ as a prophet only. With this in view one can see that their doctrine in a direct plagiarism of Mosaic laws which they have adapted in their religion they are most likely the generation of Ishmael and their beef is hatred of the Jews because God in line with his promise to Abraham Gave him Issac....

Jack ... Muslims do think that they believe in the same God.
They look back to Abraham as their ancestor, and claim to worship the same God as he worshipped.
They also think that Jesus was a prophet of that same God.

I don't know anything about the god of Islam. Can He talk? No. Can He hear? No. Can He protect? No. What can the god of Islam do? Nothing. Can He save His people? NO. I don't know anything about Him, except just that.

**But don't they think they believe in the same God as Christians do?**

No, they don't, Veronica. Not by a long shot.

Christians believe that God is three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Moslems believe that God is an absolute Monad.
