I have found it very helpfull to go through Judy Bauer's study material, aspecialy if you only in the beginning stages of evangelising. KAM or Kingdom Advancement Ministries is truely a good stepping stone to build confidence. As the New testiment states in many places is that Jesus wanted us to go to all nations and preach the gospel. Thats where I can truely can take my hat off to K.P. Yohannen with Gospel for Asia. Hope this helps a bit. Your friend in Jesus ... Mel

I love those little books,
I still have some from the early 70's.

I think my favorite is "Holy Joe" & "Somebody Goofed", oh yeh, "A Love Story" is a good one too.

The best evangelism tools are on Way of The Master. These are tools to help you evangelize simply, effectivly, Biblically, and the way that Jesus did.

For the early Christians they just had Jesus' promise of the power of the Holy Spirit - see Acts 1v8 for instance. Most Bible Colleges can build on that with courses of training or the Church Army or some good charismatic churches such as St Thoms in Sheffield which are strong on Bible teaching & provide short-term training courses. Gods blessing & His guidance.

I have found 'The Way of the Master' to be extremely helpful in evangelizing. You can find their website online at the name listed above, dot com. or you can go to Living Waters website with the same name. It is great resources by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron. Very Biblical just the way Jesus did it. Check it out.

Here are two great ones used with much success (can't post web addresses here, email me through the site and I'll give them too you!)<
You can also create custom made bumper stickers that help if you drive. Mine is huge and says "Repent of your sins toward God & put your faith in Jesus Christ. He is the ONLY way, truth, & life"

Back in my college days, when I was studying for the ministry, One of our books was called "Evangelism Explosion" I lent it to someone and never got it back, so I am not sure who wrote it, but it was excellent. Also Fresh Fire Ministries is online, If I had to train all over again for Evangelism it would be with Todd, he has a school of Evangelism.

Read John Wilbur 'Power Evangelism'. It is an amazing book. He also wrote 'Power Healing'. Go in the power of the Spirit and fulfil the Great Commission.

Part Two
You can be trained by man, and by God. Humbly learn from those who are doing, not just teaching about it. Ask God for a mentor, then look for someone to mentor.

2 Tim 2:2 speaks of four generations. Be part of the Body, learn and DO.

Those who never step out in faith criticize those who do. Faith and life are both spelled r-i-s-k!

Work by yourself; work with others.

Only two times to share Gospel: in season and out of season.

Read the books of Acts through Titus. This will tell you what to do, how to do it, and when, where, and why. When God called my husband to preach 2 years ago, our Pastor told him to read these books to get a good idea of the teachings. If your really sinceir with the evangelism, God will guide you in wherever you go and whom you preach/teach to.
