How To Lose Weight Fast

I have extreme weight problems. How do I lose weight fast and still honor God with my temple? Usually I can lose 100 lbs. in six months, but then I just put the weight back on. Does the devil have control of my will on weight loss?

Avoid high fructose corn syrup. It makes you want to eat more-very true. Eat enough fiber.Don't leave out veggies. Eat breakfast. Get plenty of sleep. Exercise.I am needing to lose weight to. My goal is to weigh 130-135. I hope you the best.

Just like there is no fast way to manage your finances to get out of debt (see blog below), there is no fast way to lose weight.

You didn't put it on quickly, but an ounce at a time, and that's the only way to lose it.

To blame the devil about this is to refuse to admit your own responsibility for eating too much.

And just like with getting out of debt, there is no Bible verse you can "claim the promise" on (read: "use as a magic spell") to lose weight, either.

Weight is a mind thing you have to beat your eating habits in your mind way before you start a healthy eating plan always consult your GP. You body is a clever piece of art work, it can do horrible things to you when you want to loose weight Try a variety of different healthy foods when you get bored, Good health!

I'm sure you have noticed that what you would like eat is not what you eventually eat. So start thinking about what you are going to eat for the next day and plan for it, this really works always remember to think about it first! Eat fresh foods each day day start with fruit/vegs.

First of all, please do not say the devil has control of your weight. We don't want to give him any glory allowing him to think that he has some type of hold on us. One thing you must realize is that you did not put the weight on fast, so don't try to lose it fast. If you do, then it won't be losing weight the healthy way. One thing I consult people on who are trying to lose weight is to trust God. He is able to do what we ask. His word teaches us to ask...and it shall be given unto you. Be blessed

I weigh about 300 lbs. I should be around 200lbs. for my size. I have tried to lose weight, but I will not co-operate, if that makes any sense. I only blame myself for this. I need to lose 100 lbs. and keep it off. Please pray for me. I know there is power in prayer, especially when there are two or more coming before God.

Susie: no it wasn't a typo. I did weigh 135 pounds. The much I ever weighed was 150 and I was pregnant. I may have not been overweight, but I wasn't to thrilled with my weight. I know I'll never be a size 5 again, but I'm happy to be a size 8-9.

Drink water and less soda or drinks with alot of sugar. Eat small portions all day long. Don't skip breakfest, because your body will slow down, losing energy and when you do eat, you'll overeat. I used to weigh 135LBS, now I weigh 110. But I had a hard time physically, I had a nephrostomy tube in my right kidney for 5 months then had the kidney removed. So I had to eat at least 4-6 hours so I could take a pain pill. And I lost alot of weight, and still keeping it off.

It is usually the people who lose weight fast who put it back on again. Food is fuel for the body, it makes the body work, so we need to burn off what we eat. An active person needs more fuel than an inactive one. Eating more than we burn off in exercise of one sort or another is a recipe for getting fat. Try eating the tiniest little bit less at each meal than you do now and gradually your stomach will get used to less food and you will feel full sooner.

2. When you reach that point you can reduce all your meals again, BUT by the tiniest amount once more - and so on. This will take a long time for you to reach your goal, but when you reach it you are much more likely to stay at your desired weight than with your present style of yo-yo dieting. Snacks between meals will hamper your progress but if you 'have' to have them use the same rule - smaller than before and then reducing to none at all when possible.

I too have a weight problem, I have had for as long as I can remember. When I was in my younger teens my mom asked the dr. about it, his answer was "when she gets older and interested in boys, she will lose it." Didn't happen that way,I did lose weight the two times I was pregnant but then after back up. Am doing weight watchers now. It is slow, but guess it came on slow,just didn't realize it. Pray and ask God for His help

There is no such thing as a HEALTHY rapid weight loss. To lose weight sensibly and keep it off, walk everyday, stop eating at fast food restaurants, cut down on your eating, and stop drinking or eating anything with sugar in it. After the weight is lost, keep doing the same things for the rest of your life to keep the weight off.

Extremes are a marker, indicator that you need medical help. Some cannot find any relief from this cycle without a gastric bypass. Emotional eating has a cure, but you have to choose to leave it at the foot of the cross. Large gains and losses are very hard on the heart and mind. Seek medical help.

Toma, try keeping a journal for one week to find out what you eat at what times. Begin in the morning until bedtime every day and if you get up during the night. Old habits are hard to break. I did that and realized the reason I would get hungry every day between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM was because as a child I had a snack each day when I got home from school about that time. It's easier to break bad habits when you understand why you do them.

When dealing with compulsive behavior, if you have an area of your life that is out of control, you are probably dealing with an evil spirit. The Bible says that the wicked are like the troubled sea which cannot rest; they have no peace (Isaiah 57:20, 21). In contrast, Jesus is the Prince of Peace. The reason why you put the weight back on is because you have not educated yourself to eat sensible and measure what you eat. What I mean is watch what type of choices you make with food as well as educate your stomache to take less, the right nutrients for you to live healthy. You can do this by eating fresh foods to include 5 fruits/veg portions per day, drink water little often, and watch your portions and eat little or no saturated fatty foods.

There are many factors involved in losing weight, and one that is often overlooked is getting enough sleep. Sleep helps to relieve stress from the body and gives it time to repair itself. When the body is stressed, cortisol levels rise which affects insulin and the pounds are easily packed on. If you are not sleeping sound for at least six to eight hours, the lack of sleep may be the culprit. At night, ask God to fill your mind with Him while you sleep. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Toma: I had a lot of childhood traumas and emotional issues growing up, and I learned at an early age that food was comfort. I abused food the way an alcoholic abuses alcohol. To make matters worse, I am also a recovering alcoholic as well. When I gave up alcohol many years ago, my eating flew out of control even more.

I suggest you get some professional help and find out why you turn to food. Stop blaming the devil and get serious with growing in the Lord.

I understand your dilemma. I was morbidly obese, and went to an eating disorder treatment facility for outpatient treatment for two months to learn what was going on that motivated me to overeat all the time. I then went and had gastric bypass surgery.

The devil offers temptation, but the scriptures say "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world."

You need to understand even when you lose weight you don't lose the fat cells themselves,they shrink but they don't disappear. Losing weight fast isn't good for you and usually you will gain the weight back,where as losing slowly gives the body time to adjust and change eating habits. It's not the Devil,just plain biological facts. God gave humankind control over their own will. You can't blame Satan for your lack of will,it's all on you. You must change lifestyle habits to keep weight off.

I really don't believe this question. Ask anyone who's had a gastric bypass, which is radical, even they seldom lose 100 lbs in a six month span. So I think you're exaggerating just a tad. Do you go to the hospital and have an IV for six months? It doesn't add up.
