your question alone says more about you and your spirit, than most people i talk to about cancer. Not only did it touch me, There was someone much more significant than i who heard your question and cares. |

Rhonda, I have no idea what your going through, but I can pray for you, and I will. May the Lord heal and restore your body and your spirit. I rebuke this illness, in the name of Jesus! When Jesus walked this earth, He healed everyone who came to Him for help. Now that He is glorified, how much more power He has to answer our plea. God bless you, and keep you, Rhonda. |

Of course you're sick, tired, and sad--and sick and tired of being sad, sick, and tired. Cancer is debilitating in and of itself, and the therapies (chemo, radiation, surgery) take a lot out of you.
You've been given an excellent opportunity to exercise patience and long-suffering--fruits of the Holy Spirit. |

Rhonda...Let me tell you about my best friend. She had radical masectomy years ago, survived ALS (now in remission), and can hardly walk on her own. But, she is still alive and kicking and serving the Lord at 91 years of age and was born blind and still plays keyboard at Sunday morning service. God can see you through this. |

I am so sorry that you are going through this. Please tell me if you are under Doctor's care? Are you receiving any treatment? |
|
---paula on 3/20/07 |
Rhonda, I will be keeping you in my prayers daily. Google prayer.la and enter a prayer request, too. It is a very uplifting prayer board. And if you'd like something encouraging to read pick up a copy of 'Healed of Cancer' by Dodie Osteen (Joel's mother).
In the meantime, offer up your suffering to the Lord.
Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart. (Ps 27:14)
May the Lord bless and heal,
augusta |

My sister I have a neurological disease and am wheelchair bound. I've been where you are. I've asked the Lord to heal me or take me home. Then I realized that I was being selfish. How about those that the Lord would use me to help? Yes even in our condition my sister, there are many who need us. Don't give up, that's what satan wants. You are here for a reason. |

I feel for you. First of all, it is totally normal for you to feel the way you do. Going through this is not easy and do not blame yourself. You are human. Keep on praying and when you feel better, listen to gospil music and surround yourself with your loved ones. Jesus came to take away all our afflictions. Welcome to talk to me when in need of help. Nehemiah 8:10 " Grieve not, for the joy of the Lord is your strength".
Psalm 30:5..."joy comes in the morning"
Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. "
Isaiah 61:3 "...garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness" |

Rhoda, there's a scripture that says, "He gathers every teardrop and puts them in a bottle." That's in Isaiah. Our tears are our prayers sometimes. Cry out to God that you are in pain and depressed. Ask Father God to heal you and to deliver you out of your depression. Cry out to him every day. I will give you some scriptures to stand on and believe for your healing (to be continued in next post). |

The Lord says, "For I the Lord am your healer." Thank Father for being your healer and ask Him to show you how to position yourself for your healing. "Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy cometh in the morning." "Fear not, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God, surely I will help you, call unto me in the day of trouble and I will answer you." God loves you. Cry out to him every day and ask Him to heal you. |

Rhonda, I will be interceding for you in the Spirit. I have a spinal injury and was getting Epidural Steriod injections into my spine. I finally began to fill myself up with the Word of God and the anointing of God is flowing through my body. I have just a small ache in my spine. It feels much better. The word is Jesus, so put the word of God in you, study it, memorize it, speak it over your life and it will become Spirit and Life to you. |

Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalm 139. Read them. Claim them. Pray them. |
|
---Madison1101 on 3/20/07 |
Rhonda...I will be praying for you. One my favorite scriptures in rough times is "Weeping may endure for the night, but JOY comes in the morning." God will get you through this. Just cling to Jesus hand. He's right there reaching out to you. |

PART ONE: Rhonda, I am writing this on the assumption that you are a Christian. As Christians, we are instructed:
1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
Note, it is not the "thing" (cancer in this case) that we are thanking God for, but that we are thankful for all he has done - in spite of our circumstances (cancer in this case). |
|
---BRUCE5656 on 3/20/07 |
PART TWO: An "attitude of gratitude" brings tremendous freedom and peace in one's spirit - even when - circumstances are sad/tragic/grim/unbearable - you name it.
Give him thanks for all He is and all He has done for you.
Read Psm 42 and 43 for an example of this attitude: Psalms 43:5, "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God." |
