Who cares what people thinks, Anomymous, Give us your gifts let us know if you choose to. And have a great day.

Why do we want to know our Spiritual gifts? Simply to find our comfort zone. God never calls us to be comfortable. But rather to live doing what He wills. He will provide what we need in any situation, what ever gift. We may never need that gift again, but it is there when we need it.

The ones the Lord has given to me. I don't like to say which ones, people here would consider that bragging. Which ones do you have? And yes, I have taken the Spiritual gifts quiz.

I should clarify... I did not mean temporary as in here one day and gone the next, I meant temporary in the manifestion. Romans 11:29. Sorry about that.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit can take place at the moment you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and become born again. It happened to Cornelius.
Usually it follows repentance, saving faith, and water baptism. Heb. 6:1-2

Cynthia, it happened to Cornelius.
Never say never, the Holy Spirit is in charge.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit does not come at the time of salvation, this is known as a false doctrine. And the gifts of the spirit are never temporary, only activated more at some times than other times, HOWEVER, STIR UP THE GIFT IN YOU, you can then have it going on all day long. Ask and you will receve. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened unto you.

Going from Betty to BJ to betty8468. Now hopefully that will work. I believe all of the gifts are temporary in the fact that the HG manifests them as they are needed. I know that's how it works in my own life.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit allows for the demonstration of the Nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 12

The Bible mentions 9 Gifts of the Spirit and not 7. This is given in 1Cor 12:8-10.
A Believer I think has all the gifts and they will be manifested if & when the Holy Spirit wills. Brian 6933

Lloyd: You listed the FRUIT of the Spirit, not GIFTS. The gifts are different than the fruit. Gifts are described in 1 Corinthians. Fruit is discussed in Galatians.

No I never took that quiz. Love Joy peace and patience kindness goodness faithfulness I am because Jesus is and He lives in me. Without Jesus I am nothing.

Yes, I have taken the Gifts quiz. However I have had various gifts of the Spirit for a long time. I believe that we have many gifts, but often they don't manifest themselves until we're in need of them.
Does that make sense? I shouldn't write when I'm sleepy.

Gift of discernment. But I'm seeking God on the rest.

Everyone has at least one Spiritual Gift, if they are born-again. Many people may have several. A warning-- Don't depend wholly on these tests. You know what your gifts are. Take the tests. They are fun.

I think it's good to keep some things to yourself. A good percentage here reject the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Without belief in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, their claim to spiritual gifts are up for debate.

Then those who list their gifts, we look at their answers and behavior and you wonder what gifts could they possibly have. There is no evidence to suggest that they are really there.
