Christian Worldview Today
Obviously ALL Christians are going to believe that their world-view is Biblical. Otherwise, they wouldn't hold to it.

jesus spoke of the world ,and the world tocome in the furture, but never did he say to be of the world,or too worry about anything.the only view that is important is how God see us.and whether we know who we are in christ.the bible tells us the world is lost always has.living in sin.thats the view.

If we base our life & understanding upon the Word of God there definitely is a Christian World-view. If we base our opinions upon the pseudo-Christian philosophies espoused by wolves in the fold then there are many, & conflicting pseudo-Christian world-views. One way leads to destruction.
Who do we trust? The never changing Word of eternal God or the stories of people who could be gone tomorrow? Too easy.

And another thing.
Jesus asked us to be like children.
The arrogance of those on both sides of the fence during the Reformation is overwhelming.
Unless we finish off the destructive in-fighting between Christians then we will miss that very important trait that God wants us to have: to be like children.
Faith is important. But so is Hope. And above all Love. Without Love it's all useless. No matter how loud we bark or say how much we believe in God.

Yes there is a Christian World View !
99.9% of us believe in The Trinity. That Jesus Christ is Our Saviour. That we are to Love God and Our Neighbour. This is the core of our faith.
And we share belief in a lot more besides.
We often focus so much on the differences between us - what is peripheral to our core faith - that we can lose sight of what is really important (and what we all share).
Non of us is perfect. Every single one of us has some flawed understanding of God.

I do not know that there is a Christian world view any longer. Few are in agreement on their own Christian faith let alone how to perceive and deal with the world around them.

Most of the worldviews that Christians hold today are of the world and not the Bible. Most Christians are blinded today.

Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and death and into His Kingdom of light and life. One is either in one kingdom or the other. Christ is revealed in scriptures, which are "Holy Spirit breathed" Many today who take the name "Christian" are still in the kingdom of darkness because they "play games" with scriptures. They are deceived - but deception is blind.

There are many as many worldviews today as there are people! Each of us has our own. If we are Christians, we shape ours by our interpretation of Scripture.
Perhaps we should be asking this question differently. How about this: What is your Biblical worldview and why?

MikeC, please present your Ideas on the meaning of the term "Biblical World View" so we have some frame work to begin a discussion. Try to target it to specific areas of interest. The term is just to nonbilious and devoid of denotative meaning for any effective discussion.
