This is asking you to spend five minutes with your Bible. Read Ezekiel 16 from beginning to end. That is how God looks at us, because that is the state of mankind collectively. We have rebelled against him, or our fathers and mothers have, and we are reaping the fruits of it. I find it helpful.

Lord knows I don't care to help a fellow person out. but if a person looks and seeks to find verses about pride (or something else) by themselves they will learn where the verses are and chances are get a better understanding if study the bible themselves. Look for these verses yourself. If you don't have a bible at home, get on the internet and read a bible of your choice online.

It's alright to quote verses from the Bible about pride. Andone can do that even a child. But reading the stories throughout the Bible gives a deeper understanding and how you can combat it. Don't be like most Christians who are lazy and learn only bits and pieces.
