Just make sure that your fiance is a christian and make sure you have taken plenty of time to think and pray on your upcoming marriage. Marriage is the most wonderful experience and also the most difficult task. Remember to keep God close in your prayers. (Don't sweat the planning. This is your day, some things WILL NOT go the planned way. Just relax and enjoy yourself!!) God Bless and Good Luck!!

Be as sure as possible that your wife-to-be believes the Word of God, and not just says that she believes. Refer to the blog titled "My Husband Isn't Bright". This could be you one day.

Put God first and remember to invite Him to your wedding. The wedding is one day, your marriage is supposed to last a life time. Devote your time and energy accordingly wrt planning.
Remember that marriage is a vocation in which to raise children in a stable Christian environment. Do not put off discussing your future family and how you will raise them.

Are you relating well in fulfilling relationships with various other Christians? Do you have obviously mature couples mentoring your relationship?
Or are you isolating yourselves and putting too many eggs in one basket?

Please be led by the Holy Spirit. That both of you are Born Again ( Believers in Jesus Christ) Not unequally yoked. If you have any doubt please don't do it. Fasting helps a lot. I'd advice you to fast as Jesus leads you how and when.

Husbands love your wives. In the union of marriage you are now one flesh. Treat and chrish her as if she were you, becuase in the covenant of marriage you become one.

Keep God in your marriage, and put him first above all things. It will be hard to put him first above your family, but to please him and have a stronger marriage, you must.
