frances008: "...so that he would see I am correct." (pride?)

I never said you were wrong in the activities of man. I said you were wrong in spreading the lies, rumors, gossip and conspiracies that the Bible tells us NOT to partake in. I know very well what's going on in the world. Known it for over forty years. But you cannot blame man, but Satan for all the happenings in the world. You cannot blame the members of the Illuminati, but Satan.

There's an old prayer: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

How can YOU change what is going on in the world. You can only change the person next to you.
---Steveng on 9/23/08

Robyn: "Just be grateful for what God reveals toyou through His Word and through others. That will be more than enough for you."

God also talks to Christians. The apostles were told not to bring along with them any script or such when they go into the world to preach for the Holy Spirit talks through them.

"Just understand the Gospel, receive Jesus by faith, live the best Christian life that you can and yhou will do ok."

Do not be only hearers of the Word, but doers, for it is written that the harvest is much, but the workers are few - especially during these end times. And remember the two commandments.
---Steveng on 9/23/08

Cynthis let me let you in on a secret about Chrsitianity: You will never understand everything in the scriptures. Accep that. Just be grateful for what God reveals toyou through His Word and through others. That will be more than enough for you. Just understand the Gospel, receive Jesus by faith, live the best Christian life that you can and yhou will do ok. Don't mess up your mind with a lot of man-made debates, thoughts and ideas. God bless

Thanks, MarkV, for your encouragement.

Back to this question at the top, it seems to imply that anyone who fears going forward, due to the persecution or temporary setbacks that we get from the opposition, is not going to be fit for Heaven. It does not say they (whoever is referred to) will lose their salvation. Maybe they will go through the Burning of works, or trial by fire mentioned in 1 Cor 3. Or maybe it refers to the people who, in fear of what their mates say, decide to chose to be atheists instead of sticking up for God. They, of course, need to repent, or they are going to hell.
---frances008 on 9/20/08

Frances, you've done great on Scriptures, and I defend anyone that speaks for the Truth. We don't have it all perfect but the essentials of the Christian faith you have shown you have. Scripture we can verify. I am glad for that.
You also speak of other things outside Scripture, and put what you believe to be true there, and thats where others come after you. I don't see why. Many of those things have nothing to do with the Word of God only what you know. I believe everyone has a lot to say about what they also know. There should be no reason why others get so upset. If it concerns the Word of God or something connected to Scripture then I believe we can answer for the right reason from the Word of God.

Mark, it was me that said that to Steveng because he so often tries to discredit me and in the past I thought he had no idea of what is actually going on in the world. This does not mean that I think there is no light in him, just that (I thought) that he needed to educate himself so that he would see I am correct. I would put him with the numbers of people who know something is wrong in the world, but cannot bring themselves to fully face up to the monster, in all its aspects. Without learning about the enemy we end up taking pot shots at the people who are on our own side. All I want to do is get people to open their eyes and see what is being planned. Only then can we fight against it (or escape to the hills).
---frances008 on 9/19/08

God made us all differently, and sometimes fear paralyzes us. The more we look into something, the more we might become afraid. But since there is only one truth, you can know it if you do the studying, and you will see that fear is the main tool used by the enemy to make us submit to their plans. Take vaccinations....we get ourselves stuffed with unhealthy unnecessary viruses, so that we might not get the fullblown diseases. We make ourselves sicker in our efforts to avoid illness. The long term effects are terrible. It is better to let the human body do its work. This is just one aspect of the conspiracy. Let go of fear. Do the studying.

StevenG, forgive me for my post to you. I did go back and read it again and you are very correct. My apologizes. I will make sure that I don't do it again. I cannot promise since I am not perfect. Since you said that I misinterpret the Bible can you give me one that I did? I will be glad to apologize on that too if I did. I am not ashame to clear Scripture. I will correct anything I said that goes against the Word of God. Can you show me one? You don't have to do anything.

MarkV: "StevenG, you say, "I hope that you will be enlighten before you die" Implying she has no light, because she does not see what you see or have read about secret societies. Does a person have to see what you see about secret societies in order to have light? Give us a break will you."

I didn't say it. Frances said it to me. I've come to the conclusion after reading your other posts on this and other blogs that you misinterprete the Bible like you misinterpret my post.
---Steveng on 9/17/08

Cynthia *** He who puts his hands to the plow and looks back is NOT FIT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD? ***

Everyone's flesh is touched/condemned by sin, so in the literal sense we all put our hands to the plow & look back from time to time because our flesh is not fit for heaven. In the spiritual sense its speaking about our soul and if we have a repenting heart. A repenting heart will not look back!

*** Does not God forgive us 7 X 70 A DAY? ***

God's forgiveness has always been available for the asking. We can receive God's forgiven but only when we repent, else we're left with rebuke. It all comes down to whether or not we have a repenting heart to receive the Lord's seal of promise which is what gets us into Heaven
---Shawn.M.T on 9/16/08

I know that Frances has talked a lot about secret societies, I believe that what she has said are things she has read. Those are her opinions. She is very much entitled to her opinion without anyone calling her names. She is expressing her opinion. But when she is talking about Scripture she is talking about facts. I don't think everyone has all the facts exact. But when someone brings Scripture we can refute what they say with Scripture.
StevenG, you say, "I hope that you will be enlighten before you die" Implying she has no light, because she does not see what you see or have read about secret societies. Does a person have to see what you see about secret societies in order to have light? Give us a break will you.
---MarkV. on 9/16/08

DDM, you said something nice that Christians are suppose to do, "we are to pray for our enemies and those that pitifully use us and not to render evil ..etc' But in your heading you tell frances she is doubleminded & forked tongue" and just in case you didn't make your point clearer you throw,"seek that which you have lost, or never really had in the 1st place" and your wife thinks you are being too nice.
You first demean her, by calling her names, and finish her off by implying she is not saved, and you are being too nice? You who speak that Christians shouldn't sin on the other blogs. Instead of speaking to her like a brother in the Lord, you stab her first then you say you pray for her.

frances008: "I hope that you will be enlightened sometime before you die."

Conspiracies is difficult to explain in human terms and in such a short post.

Scriptures show how man is - especially during the end times. All these so-called secret societies are man-made (the same with religions) and are operated by man. The men in these societies don't know they are puppets of Satan and scoff at the idea. They believe what they are doing benefits all of mankind not knowing they are being manipulated by Satan. If they murder someone, they believe that deep down inside it is wrong, but they believe it's for the benefit of the human race. Go to part two...
---Steveng on 9/15/08

Part Two...

Take the "mark of the beast" chip implanted in humans for example (I'm not saying it is true). We know that the chip can do wonders for the world - locate missing persons and lower delivery costs of products). But it also has a dark side as you well know. Like fire, it can be used as good and bad depending on the human element.

Every human since the beginning of time are in the same boat: we all will be judged by what we do here on earth. Our jobs as Christians must lead a godly life, share with others the Kingdom of God, how to get there, and encourage each other to stay on the right road. Go to part three...
---Steveng on 9/15/08

Steveng, Hi there, I hope that you will be enlightened sometime before you die.
---frances008 on 9/13/08

Steveng watch the video clip of the guards being called off from JFK's car. Listen to his speech about secret societies that run the world and the vast conspiracy. Look outside and count how many people you see from babies to adults, including young children wearing the Skull and Bones T shirts, caps, etc. etc. Then come back and tell me again that there is no Satanic Conspiracy. Please tell me about why we need GM crops (death crops).

frances008: "I only read the Bible and use the Bible as it's own interpreter."

If what you say is true, why do you continue to spread lies and rumors with your conspiracy theories? You make Christians believe that you have inside information about man's doings/conspiracies. The same conspiracies you spread are the same ones I heard forty years ago. If you spend as much time with the truth (the Bible) as your conpiracy theories you're on your way to winning the race. Just stick with the truth that is know instead of the conpiracies that are unknown.
---Steveng on 9/12/08

Brian and DDM, I am not double minded. It is those who say 'Believe on Jesus for eternal salvation, which you might lose tomorrow if you sin....' who are double-minded.
---frances008 on 9/11/08

DDM, why are you determined to make me your enemy just because I say Christians are saved and if someone is a dog then they are not Christians? I only read the Bible and use the Bible as it's own interpreter. Why are you so upset that Christians will all be saved, no matter what sin they have committed. Do you hate Christians are something? Get over it already, DDM.
---frances008 on 9/11/08

Change of mind of God's words again frances0008?
You my dear are doubleminded & forked tongued,
seek that which you have lost, or never really had in the 1st place...

I still pray for you, even though you've told me a number of times not too!

My wife thinks I'm being to nice, But I remind her, we are to pray for our enemy's and those that dipitfully use us and Not to render EVIL with EVILNESS, Only with goodness can we make evil of no effect!

These are like the dogs in 2 Peter 2 they are not worthy because they wish for the days when they were wallowing in the vomit. Unlike the Prodigal Son. That son knew he was not a pig and felt disgusted with what he had come to. He wished heartily that his father would receive him back. Fortunately God is ever forgiving. But there are those who are not sheep and are never going to be sheep and don't want to be sheep. That is the sad fact. They get into the pigsty and they 'become pigs'. It is about self-realization. Once you realize you were made to be with God, you must never wish to be with Satan.
---frances008 on 9/10/08

This parallels what James says about being double-minded. To be double-minded is to be a little (or a lot) unsure that God's promises and provision are all we need. That somehow we're missing out on life.

And that's what Jesus was saying in this passage. We aren't effective in the Kingdom of God when we look back to our old ways and false comforts, like the Israelites in the desert with Moses complained that they were better off in Egypt.

If we say yes to Jesus but later doubt that he is all we need now and in the future, then we can't help people know the deep things of God.

The good news is, Jesus gives us grace, forgiveness, and strength to move forward! We don't have to live in the desert of double-mindedness!

The seventy times seven was an order given to us in how to treat to our brother. It is basically saying have mercy as we require mercy but was also a deeper emphasis on the length time/chances God gave Isreal (see Daniel 8-12) What Jesus meant was that if you start on the road to righteousness and look back you really aren't wholly focused on salvation which is key to being saved
---Keith on 3/21/08

It says unfit, not unsaved or unforgiven. I wonder how many of us have been or are unfit quite often? I would guess all of us. Do we really deserve the kingdom of God? I doubt it. But God sees us through Jesus and we come out acceptable because of him, not because we are so great. I'm unfit but he's not and I go by his righteousness, not mine.

Jesus had a meeting with Moses and Elijah on the mountain. Jesus told the disciples He would be betrayed into the hands of men. Jesus told the disciples that He hadn't come to destroy mens lives but to save men.

Jesus said, "Follow Me"....no one having put his hand to the plough and looking back is fit for the Kingdom of God".

It is the last hour and there is no time to be busy with other things. Time to fight the battle at hand. Anyone who enrolls in the Army of God is not his own.
Soldiers don't do what they feel like, they do the will of the King.
When we put other things before the King's business, we're not faithful soldiers to the King.
If you put your own will before the will of the King of Kings, you have no loyalty and are not fit for the Kingdom of God.

Sinners merit Hell. Saints do not merit Heaven. I agree with John, if a Christian gets into the flesh we can be a terror. The nature of man, if it be not sanctified, is the worst nature in the world next to that of devils.
---catherine on 5/4/07

Any soldier who enrolls in the army counts the cost. The soldier knows he may lose his life in the battle. If the soldier is not in complete submission and deserts the battle, disgrace comes for not being committed to the army and country.
---Rachel on 5/4/07

Jesus says, "Follow Me".
Soldiers believe in their commander, if they don't they will desert and run to save their own life.

To follow Jesus with your whole heart may cost you everything. But Jesus says, if you lose your life because of your King, Jesus will give you life... more abundantly, and you'll be fit for the Kingdom of God.
---Rachel on 5/4/07

God forgives, bu the passage is referring to turning back to your old way of life after following Christ. If you truly want to accept Christ's free gift of salvation, you have to commit to it yourself, completely, permanently and without reservation - that is what a covenant is all about - it requires reciprocation or it is not a covenant.

------Rebecca_D are you saying that God brought Lot's wife out only to send her to hell? If so where was God's foreknowledge did he not know that she was going to look back? Of course He knew. And it does not say she went to hell but that she became a pillar of salt.
---Mima on 5/3/07

If you will remember in the bible, when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, he told Lot and his family to leave. Lot's wife looked back at what she was leaving behind. Instead of looking forward ahead. God turned her into a piller of salt. God forgives but if one looks back to what their leaving behind instead of wht they will be gaining, their not fit to enter into heaven.
---Rebecca_D on 5/3/07

This scripture pulls the curtain back to exposes all for what we are. Mankind is totally depraved and none are fit for the kingdom of God. O but glory hallelujah almighty God had sent his son to wash our sins away by the shedding of his precious blood. Thank you Jesus for what you have done!!
---Mima on 5/3/07

Yes God forgives. Christ expects that we have dedication to Him to fulfill what He calls us to do. We need to obey. To take up our cross and to follow Him. Churches do not usually teach the level of committment Jesus requires of His children that the Father gave to Him. It is very rare to here a firm gospel of Salvation and Judgement. Noone stands up to warn precious people of Hell. The nature of Hell. The Levels of Hell. The prison located in Hell and who goes to which section and so on. We study Heaven.
