I will tell you excitely how to stop it. Become so absorded with God. Talking to Him a lot, studying a lot, Praise Him alot. Worship a lot. You should not have any such feelings. And do not forget to listen to Him all the time. Tuned in all the time. And you won't have time for anything else.

You are still in the world. but we are told not to be part of this world. To be seperate from others (sinners). As long as you keep your little hand in his big hand, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

You are in this world. We walk by faith and not by sight. Our being saved does not depend on feelings either. If you are participating in deliberate sin you are in danger of Hellfire. My advice to you: Don't let the Lord come back and catch you with your work undone. We have to work out our own salvation, daily. Your choice.

I would have to know how you feel you are of the world? is it an iniquity you are trying to break or having trouble with pressure from people you are around?

If lacking in a certain area of your life, then temptation rolls around offering itself to you, and its seems as it is ALL you ever wanted. No one should underestimate the POWER of these strongholds of the mind and once it is entertained in the mind, gives birth. SNUFF IT OUT in the NAME OF JESUS. Quote, I am casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 COR. 10:5

Check out Romans 6, 7, & 8. Paul talked about how he himself battled with his flesh(Sin-nature). In Romans 8 he showed the freedom of walking in the spirit.

Walking in your spirit requires a renewed mind.(Romans 12:1-2)

Jesus didn't leave us helpless either. He said He would send us another Helper, the Holy Spirit. He, Holy Spirit, is with you to help you overcome sin, etc.

Just ask Him for the help.

Pt.3 .... attitude or actions by submitting myself, my will & what I might consider my rights to the Father, keeping my mind on Him, His word & His way. Having no confidence in the flesh knowing that as long as I "walk in the Spirit I will not fulfill the lust of the flesh." (Gal.5:16). Putting on "the Lord Jesus Christ, & making no provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lust thereof." (Rom13:14). Acknowledging with confidence unwavering, that Satan nor His system has any place in me.

Pt.2 ...that entice & seduce the senses. Included in this system are the people who advocate & conform to it due to their sense knowledge dependency. One of many principle I apply to avoid that trap is to "Walk by faith & not by sight". I set my course in life embracing the gift of the confidence of Christ that Father has empowered me to exercise in His Word, inspiration & influence. I make every attempt to avoid allowing my sensual perceptions to dictate my choices, responses,.. Cont...

You are in the world, you can not avoid that. What is important is that you are not of the world. In order to avoid the feeling of being of the world one must define the term in ones own mind, find the applicable principle to be applied in & thru the word of God & apply that principle. I have been given to define the term thusly. "The world" is this system of things that originated thru, is based on & dictated to by sensual perceptions of those outwardly perceived adornments... You are in this world.

Feelings are fickle. They change from minute to minute.
Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.
God gave you feelings; and unless you want to suppress them, shove them down, or deny them - they're here to stay. You may feel differently tomorrow. It's a new day.

I have the impression a "tongue talking" Christian did not ask this question.
Why, because those who do not believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit just expect this kind of emotionalism..
On the contrary, I am less moved by emotions and feelings. The older you are in Christ, the less you gauge anything by feelings.
Catholics should not feel so persecuted. Believers in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit are picked on as much. Although, Jesus will have the last Word about it.
