Moses had an Ethiopian wife...No problem in mixed marriage as far as your marriage reflects God's glory and helps eachone of you accomplish God's purpose in your life individually and as family.
No. 1 thing to consider is if He is Really in the Lord?
No. 2 Do you love him? Does he love you?
No. 3 Do your understanding, values, worldviews compatible or with only narrow gaps?
Hope this advice helps you to decide in order to have a perfect and lasting marriage.

Cynthia, are you talking about Jesus, or is this the dreaded, you're really not telling us you have an earthly boyfriend outside of marriage. You're just messin' with us now, aren't you? Aren't you Cindy Lou?

Well my boyfriend is a Jew.

The Bible is only specfic about one thing, when it deals with selecting a marriage partner and that is that both parties are Christian. Aside from that you also have practical matters such as culture, social, educational, etc. to consider.

In God's eyes there is no interracial marriages as we are all part of the HUMAN RACE. If this man is a Christian also, then there should be no problem with marriage. Whether he is a Native American Indian or from the country of India, it doesn't matter as long as he is a Christian.

If he is from this planet earth he is probably of the same race...., you know, human. He may not be of the same faith and that is/should be your biggest worry.
It appears that you have made your mind up all ready and are just looking for support.
Spend some time now counseling with a godly Pastor or spend it later with a costly lawyer.

Actually, the term "race" is arbitrary and is based upon evolutionary concepts of history. A person's "race" status quickly becomes blurry after the very first generation produced from a so-called interracial marriage. Since we all descended from 8 people who walked off an ark just a few thousand years ago then we are all part of one big family. Just go by what the "Indian" believes about Jesus to determine if he is compatible with you like the others have recommended.

God discourages unlike faiths marrying. Is your boyfriend a Christian? If not, it would not be a good idea to marry. Christian is not a race it's a belief. How would your kids be raised?

Indians can be Christian.
Or do you imagine that only white people can be Cristians?
---alan_of_UK on 5/6/07|
Eastern or American, Christian or non.
If he is not a Christian, then God would not approve. Indian, race, does not matter; as long as you are equally yoked in your Christian faith.

If your boyfriend is a Christian, it doesn't matter what race or country he is from.

It is written, "IN CHrist there is neither Jew nor Gentile."
