Do you agree with this:-

the Prophet (pbuh) said,
"The Hour will not come until the sun rises from the West. When people will see it then those who are on earth will believe but that is the time when its belief will not profit a soul which did not believe before that time."

Islam is rising fast in the western part of Europe. According to the British-based group Christian Research, practicing Muslims will outnumber practicing Christians in England within a few decades.

My first thought is that we are talking about a different culture than here in America. Here going to church is thought of as what you should do, whether you want to or not. Perhaps in Europe people go because they want to and those that don't want to simply don't go?

Why don't you ask the Europeans that question? How would American's know the answer to that? I don't. Sorry.

Yet I think all of us are a work in progress actualy none of us has it all perfect, we just learn as we go, from day to day. I Love the bouquet of different peoples and nations God has created uniqueness in all of us, like Rebecca said we are as different as the snowflakes/ Many Americans do not attend church for that matter, But God has it under control. Just Pray, and beleive.

Susie
I don't know. But at same time Europeans have better social services, education, hospitals and care for the poor than in the USA. Also they are more cynical about money, power and prestiege than Americnas.
A lot of people in America maybe belive but it doesn't mean they are necessarily more Christian in spirit i am afraid to say.

I was not referring to the U.K. because I know of far too many churches that had such annointing on them, that all I had to do was walk up to the front door of the church, Power of God so strong, Fabulous Pastors, I had great experiences in the U.K. churches, and miss them much.

Interesting answers, mostly ignorance of Europe. or at least the UK.
The overwhelming opinion is that the USA has it right, or so it seems to me.
Given my choice between some of the more traditional churches here, and the money grubbing TV evangelists, give me the Book of Common Prayer anyn day.

I am not sure but then I am not sure why many in this country go to church. Churches everywhere have problems unique to theirselves. All will face judgement and all need to examine themselves. We need to pray for churches everywhere and the flocks they house.

After spending 17 years living with Europeans, and the other half of life in the United States, I truly notice a MARKED difference...God is doing a new thing on this earth, and we must continue to pray for our friends, and our family members in Europe, that God will pour out His Spirit on ALL FLESH, waking them from dead works of the dead churches of ceremony and nothing much more than rituals.

Because they have endured a ''Traditionl Religious Spirit'' all of these hundreds of years that have given them a daily diet of

''A Watered down gospel''

They had exhibited little to nonexistent tolerance for ACTS chapter 1:8...always, limiting God...puting a measuring stick upto what God could. or could not do.
