Receiving Jesus Christ

Concerning salvation, many times after receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior I see people engage in RANDOM activity. They want to shake your hand off, they want to shout, they say o my my and they are very happy. Have you observed this type of behavior?

A true soulwinner has just left my house and we discuss this very thing. This "random" activity which identifies many times the person who has just gotten saved .

This man has a large prison ministry. And he asked me for advice of how more people(prisoners) could be saved. My statement to him was, forget what you have to say, and deliver the message of how you can be saved to the prisoners. He thanked me and has just left my house, because I have heard him speak in prisons many times I realized that he was guilty of thinking he had something to say.
As a Christian more important than what we have to say(our ideas and opinions) is the message of salvation that we can deliver to the loss.

This is true.think back if you are saved to the begining.Being on fire for God. We should all still have this fire within us. We are going home to be with our LORD one day and that gives me a reason to shake a hand off. New chrsitians are experienceing a Holy presence that they have never had before. I delt with drugs, abuse, and alcohol and praise God he saved me. We all need to put that feeling back into our worship and life as Gods children. If we did, God would surly bless us many times over.

I became born again/received salvation. At a later time, I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
After Baptism in the Holy Spirit, I would stand in the shower and ask the Lord to purge me of everything that exalted itself against Jesus Christ; from the top of my head, to the bottom of my feet, Lord, purge me, cleanse me from my sin. Lord, though my sins be red as scarlet, make me white as snow.

I prayed every day in the shower. I read my new Bible from beginning to end. I sat for hours on Saturdays, reading and crying over the Word.
I jumped inside of the Bible. I could see myself walking down old dusty roads, watching God's Word happen in technocolor; listening to Jesus talk to His disciples. Those first years after Baptism in the Holy Spirit were the most exciting years of my life. All I cared about was the Bible. I sat in my car at lunchtime and ate twice. The Word and my lunch.

CN helps stir that desire to live in the Word, again. Thank you very much.
I have to dig deep into the Scripture to answer. God isn't looking for perfect people, but open, yielded and eager to serve the Lord.
I yield to the Holy Spirit to understand the Word. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit has given me a new dimension for Christian living. I love the Word, Jesus Christ.

NO, I have never seen this kind of behavior. I think that it is great. To know that you have been saved. You can now put to rest your fears of your final destination. I mean you never have to walk around with that nagging thought in the back of your mind, What if there is a hell .

You should have seen me when I got saved. I almost ran down the street shouting "Jesus". I'd walk in the door of the shop and shout "praise the Lord". Told just about everybody I came across they had to get saved. Mad lady for Jesus.

Mark 1:26 And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.
Mark 9:26 After crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out

Yes I have observed this. They are happy because the old man passed away, and they became a new creature in Christ. If that isn't enough to make someone shout, something is wrong somewhere. Christians should be the happiest people on earth, and we should show it.
