Destroyed Go To Hell

Jude 1:5," I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not." Do you believe those that were destroyed went to hell?

Yes, Those destroyed went to Hell. That's what happens to the unbelieving people when they die. They go directly to Hell at Death. They are perpetually and continually DESTROYED. Yes! You can be "perpetually and continually DESTROYED". "Destroyed" means to be brought down LOW. Brought down to NOTHING. "NOTHING" in the sense of WORTHLESSNESS.

Yes, without a doubt the eternal breath inside of each and every person returns back to the Eternal One who gave it. "It is appointed onto humans once to die, but after this the judgment." Hebrews 9:27.

Define hell. Do you mean Sheol/Hades or Gehenna? Could you possibly mean tartarus? Hell is not a good word to use to translate from all four of these places.

Calhoon; God thought it and said in his word that the sinners would be tormented in hell and have no rest day and night. This doesn't apply to animals. Hitler has no room to talk for all he has done.

Listen++ God did create Hell for the wicked. It is man's fault. For the heart of man is wicked. And it is for ever. So, if you do not want to go there, you must get saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.

*Who ever thought of eternal torment for sinners?*

God.

*I would not say for sure. In 1 Cor 5:5 we see that a very immoral, unrepented person was to be expelled from the church, and handed over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh*

Destruction of the flesh isn't talking about our physical flesh but the flesh the epistles were talking about. It's the sinful nature. Jesus and Jesus said we must put ourselves to death, crucify our flesh, which is destroying our flesh. The destruction of the flesh is another way of saying repentance.

Some have a problem with eternal judgement for something that is actually earned but they don't have a problem with eternal bliss that they didn't earn.
Rev.20:14-15, Death and hell are cast into the lake of fire along with all those who are not found written in the book of life. At the end, it's just that simple.

Calhoon - No animal has ever sinned. Also, no animal was ever made in God's image, so don't apply the same standards to humans. As for getting sick, the idea that sinners would not be punished by a perfect God makes ME want to vomit, because they would then be on the same level as the ones who have chosen to follow His ways. What then would distinguish the sheep from the goats?

Who ever thought of eternal torment for sinners? Would we torment for all time an animal? I dont think Hitler would do such a thing. I think its sick.

Ryan: Mima meant hell, if he meant for the word hell to be anything else other than hell, he would have said so. Mima; I believe that those whom didn't believe in Christ in waiting to go to hell. Just like the ones that have died in Christ, they are waiting to go to heaven.

I would not say for sure. In 1 Cor 5:5 we see that a very immoral, unrepented person was to be expelled from the church, and handed over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Therefore, just because they got destroyed physically doesn't mean they are eternally judged.
