the Bible shows us there is a definite knowing one is saved (the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit) Acts shows us 2 ways that salvation came tongues of flame (to show its arrival and worthiness Acts 2:3, 11:15) and laying of hands(primary Acts 8:14-17) Sauls own conversion shows us even though he knew he stood before Christ and believed he wasnt saved until Ananias layed hands on him debunking Rom 10:9,10 on its own!(Heb 11:40, 12:1,2) My own testimony is as Sauls the scales dropped from my eyes and an unmistakable peace/joy/love a feeling I was no longer alone. there is no human feeling that equates to being born again!!! |

#1 - Yes, I am born again because "the Spirit bears witness with my Spirit that I am a child of God" and I believe the Word. I often wonder if we truly understand the new birth. Jesus is showing Nicodemus the need of the new birth, also that it is a spiritual and not a natural experience. The difference is shown here between the two creations. Flesh is always flesh. It can never be Spirit. It is born flesh, it will stay flesh. So it is with the spiritual birth. |

#2 - It cannot be flesh. What it is born of the Spirit is Spirit. There can be no mixture of the flesh and the Spirit. The "flesh" is not a new thing, but just fallen man, ruled over by his own bodily desires and ways. "Spirit" expresses the new man in all that he is as born again. #3 - Jesus spoke of the necessity of the new birth and the way it works. It is an absolute must because, He had to come down from heaven to lay the foundation for a new spiritual creation, the birth of a new spiritual race, a heavenly race. His Father gave Him a body in order that He could die - Heb. 10:5, which made the way for the New Man to come out of death into life. |

#4 - Just as the Spirit of God hovered over Mary and deposited that Holy Seed into her, the Spirit of God hovers over us at the new birth and deposits that holy, incorruptible seed of Christ into our heart and we become born again. For all of you who believe you have been 'born again' I ask this question: Is is still possible for you to belive a lie? (Did you fill out a 1040 this year and signed under oath that the amount you made was absolutely correct?---Even IF we don't have any LAWFUL money in circulation?)

I am born again, and know this because I have done what the Bible says, and believe it by faith. IE, Romans 10:9-10, John 3:16.
And then there is the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25) that has subsequently born witness to this truth.
John 3:5-7 and John 3:16 clear up that what Jesus is talking about doesn't happen after we die physically, but while we live. He speaks of 2 types of birth (no death), and referrences BELIEF in v.16 in connection to the whole idea (not death). |

What many people think being born again means that they have been justified by believing in Jesus and being babtized. The problem is that "justification" is not the same as "sanctification". This event happens when you have been sealed by God and will not have any sin (lies) in you again! You then become a spiritual being on par with Jesus=as in sons and daughters of the Holy Spirit. To my knowledge, no one has been born again---yet. |

Yes I am borned again. I know this for a fact. Because when after I became saved, I was a whole new person. My whole life, attitude has changed. I wasn't a bad person when I was a sinner, but yet just being a good person doesn't get a person into heaven. I am thankful that I know, that I know, that I know I'm on my way to heaven. |

Yes I have been born again, I know because I have a different perspective on life, I have a deep concern for the lost- I never had that before, I am very forgiving and am quick to turn the other cheek. I use to hold grudges, I now see its a waste of energy. I have a confidence about eternity that I never had before. I could write a book but for now I'll keep it to 85 words.
