Yes there are and since Christ fulfilled all righteousness and has been given ALL authority the ability to curse has been given from God to Christ until that day when all things are placed at the feet of God and the Son comes back into subjection and God is all in all.
Unfortunately, it would take far more than 85 words to go through all of the scriptures that verify this. Hence, I'm not even going to debate it. The answer is yes.

There are no generational curses on those 'who love me and keep my commandments'. (Exodus 20:6).

"The Bible talks about the sins of the father being on the son."

That was changed. He said that the father eating sour grapes doesn't set the children's teeth on edge. Moreover, in the New Covenant, the righteousness of the Father is on the son(s). If you are still of the flesh, your sins have been placed on Jesus. Receive Him...and then receive the righteousness of the heavenly Father upon you by regeneration.

greetings. Is this post about parents passing their sins into their offspring or are the offspring's afflictions a result of the sins of the parents? The apostles were puzzled about these things also but they eventually learned from Jesus their old traditional thinking was primitive .

Yes, there are. This explains alcoholism, drug addiction, and many other sins. Families pass these acts down through their example to their children. However, we are not to blame our sin on these generational curses.

It depends on what generation you are of: Adam or Christ, born of the flesh or born of the Spirit, of the father of lies or the Father of lights.

Generational Curses are very real, and happen by the sin of a family member being put on you. The Bible talks about the sins of the father being on the son.

I see them all through the Bible. A famous one is in Matt.27:25 were the Jews said "his blood be upon us and our children"
We are told that words curse, fathers can bless and curse their decendants. Certain wickedness will bring curses to the next 10 generations. Matt25 shows that those who don't give to the needy are cursed.
Gal 3:10 says those who are under the works of the law are cursed. Many behaviors that are conducive to curses still run generationally. They can all be broken.

Yes there is! The Bible mentions "generational curses" in several places (Exodus 20:5, 34:7, Numbers 14:18, Deuteronomy 5:9). The cure for generational curses is salvation through Jesus Christ. When we become Christians, we are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17).

There is "the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience," we have in Ephesians 2:2. This selfish spirit of Satan can minister from parents to kids, reproducing the selfish ways of their personalities in their children.

Then those ways keep producing the same problems, from generation to generation, possibly.
