Emcee if you type in koran 9:11 it comes up as some kind of hoax. I was just wondering why you were quoting it. I didn't think you were a muslim.
I think its odd how were told every day by the media that we've lost the war and the American people are demanding out - but I don't see that here or in my neighbors????just confused - we all want out - we just don't want to lose this war and end up far worse then when it started.
We have to fight them somewhere - I guess....simply do not know?

Pulling out of Iraq would be another bloodbath. John Kerry conveniently forgets the aftermath of the Leftmedia-inspired cut-and-run from Vietnam:

A million people were imprisoned without formal charges or trials, 165,000 people died in the Socialist Republic of Vietnams re-education camps, Thousands were abused or tortured, or imprisoned for as long as 17 years.

Let's not forget the Pol Pot genocide either.

I believe The Koran 9:11 claims thatthe mighty Eagle will vent his wrathon the son of arabia that disturbed the Eagle. But Peace will be restored. It has been proved RIGHT is might & not the other way around.IRaq is the Playground where It all started Garden of EdenBabylon, its all there ,we just have to TRUST Pray & seek our own redemption. To interfere suppose would be folly.God knows what HE is doing.WE are asked to follow HIM.

Jody, # 1 You say "Allen of UK will say I am MAD so I will not get too specific"
I don't know why I should think you are mad.
You clearly have misunderstood my thoughts on Iraq, which are that we went into the war with questionable proven justification, and should have waited for this and the support of other nations

Jody, # 2 .
Then, once we were there, we failed to prosecute the war and its aftermath properly. There was obviously no planning as to how to get the place running properly. That is what has led to the current hatred of the US and UK ... we failed to reinstate the essential infrastructure for the people of that sad coountry

If we pull out we will be assuring the very outcome we fear.We are creating another terrorist nation with a Taliban style government allied with Iran and Al'Qaeda. Iran wouldn't permit Iraq to become an unorganized group of tribal lands but instead would create another shadow Iran like Syria with oppressive Sharia law and Jihad as a way of life. History proves that the strong, if not limited by morality, will always force their will on the weak and in that region the strong are Iran and Al'Qaeda.

Okay, I'm gonna be flogged for this, but it's still a free country lol :D I think it's gonna be a royal mess when we finally do leave, and by going there in the first place, we've made ourselves more and more hated everyday! It was NOT to "remove an evil dictator", if that were the case, the President would have butted into the affairs of several countries, Darfur included.
---Mary on 7/25/07

Oh just to explain what I meant, I was not saying that Saddam wasn't a horrible dictator--he definitely was! But why do we always insist on getting involved in other countries' civil wars?!
---Mary on 7/25/07

The terrorists will be the winners. They will de-stabilize the entire region. That was my fear in 2001. It remains my fear today. If we depart, they will have proved their point: the West is weak. It has no will to resist. This is the great psychological goal of every violent resistance movement: to erode the enemy's will to resist. Islamic terrorists are worse in this regard. There is religion involved.

Hi Donna....I see you're praying again for all to see.

I wish I knew what was the RIGHT thing to do or if we did the right thing - I don't know. But we do have a moral responsibility to make sure we don't leave Iraq worse then when we went in. Harry Reid and the Dems are INVESTED in defeat - I don't trust them on the other hand I can't trust Bush either. PRAY PRAY PRAY, God intervene in the lives of these people, in our lives and the lives of our politicians. God save us from ourselves.
---Andrea on 7/25/07

Allen of UK will say I am MAD so I will not get to specific. I will say that some nations would unite against others and there will be an economic collapse such that we have never seen in history for some and some would go into bondage. Bush Sr would probably become more visable. And much chaos would abound. Just an opinion

Us pulls out of Iraq now,
1. Civil war
2. a vacuum filled by Iran
3. emboldened Islamic fundamentalist
4.Terror hits closer to home
5. US solders will fight terrorist again, closer to home, with greater casualties
6. Gas at 7.00 a gallon
7. WW3 when Iran-Iraq attacks Israel
---MikeM on 7/25/07

If the US pules out of Iraq it will create a political vacuum that will be filled by a group that is not to our long term political advantage. We will need an ongoing military presence in Iraq for decades to come irrespective of the magnitude of casualties to US personnel. Al Qaeda and fundamentalist Islam are thing you cannot coexist with they have to be eradicated irrespective of the length of conflict or economic cost and casualty loses to preserve Western Society.

There will be civil war and killing among themselves like never before. Many times greater than the deaths we now see. The oil supplies will probably come to a halt as opposition to democratic government will sabotage it.Unfortunately, it will be mostly innocent civilians who suffer the most.

Rush Limbaugh compromise: I will agree to pull our troops out of Iraq if you Democrats will agree to my conditions after the defeat... pull out and we see the pictures of this on TV, every TV image must show a split screen. On one side of the screen, the bloody slaughter scenes, on the other side of the screen, pictures of smiling Harry Reid, smiling Chuck Schumer, smiling Carl Levin congratulating each other with big laughs...
---Ktisophilos on 7/24/07

Mima, you've been watching too much Mike Moore. Iraq was NOT the paradise that he portrayed. Rather, Saddam was a mass murderer, and his sons were sadistic torturers. Saddam paid the families of Jew-killing suicide bombers.

And 20-20 hindsight is so wonderful. But many of the anti-Bush Dems voted FOR the war because evidence available at the time suggested that Saddam had WMDs, and had certainly used them before. Saddam himself did not obey UN resolutions to disprove this.
---Ktisophilos on 7/24/07

It will be a big mistake.
---catherine on 7/24/07

More slaughter!!!! We should have limited ourselves to Afghanistan. A scripture in the Bible says that every man's hand will be against "Ishmael" and that includes his brothers, especially his brothers, o that the people would had some vague idea what the Koran says. Islam is a satanic religion
and all who dance with it will pay a dear price in human butchery.
