Forgiveness With Repentance

What is your opinion of this statement."Every time the phrase "for the remission of sins" occurs it is speaking of the fact that sins have been forgiven previously! The Bible plainly teaches that the forgiveness of sins is conditioned upon repentance of sin and faith in Christ".

Virginia praise God you are in the truth! DO you realize how great it is to here those words? It's a rare occurence on CN. Mostly because those who are in truth leave CN after seeing all the hypocrisy and apostasy. Did you know people steal other peoples names on these blogs in an attempt to slander their name? Using their name to say things they don't believe and they go to sleep at night thinking they are saved.

Sigh... this is it Virginia. CN is a good reflection of our current CHristian church. Proof that most of the Church is apostate and proof that we are nearing the end times. Do me a big favor? Don't leave these blogs unless God leads you to do so. Stay on as long as the HS leads you to stay. Listen to his voice and avoid pointless arguements. Stay strong because soon enough people will begin to attack you as they have attacked me and as they have attacked everyone else who openly spoke the truth.

I learned alot from being on these blogs, Virginia. The more people try to scare me off the stronger I stand. Being resilient against words is of upmost importance here. Keep in mind ,"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Don't take things personally on these blogs. If someone fights the truth you know the only thing that will work is the Word because you are not fighting against a person but against the evil Spirits of this world.

It's important to understand this because you can't outtalk the Devil. He is smarter than you. The Word. Always, give the Word. God bless.

So glad you brought this topic up. In these times forgiveness is not a very popular subject...people don't want to think they need repentance and are getting more and more harder of heart. But the Bible does say we need to repent. In the Lutheran church they have a corporate prayer in church for repentance and the Catholics still have confession.

Matthew 7
21. "Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.

22. "Many will say unto Me in that Day, 'Lord, did we not prophesy in Thy Name, and in Thy Name cast out demons? And in Thy Name work many wonders?'

23. "But I shall say unto them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you workers of iniquity.' "

Jesus died so that it could be possible for people in the world to be forgiven. But only those who truly repent are forgiven by God. But if Jesus hadn't died, no one could have been forgiven. Likewise, Jesus' death on the cross didn't obtain pardon for all of the world's people. Only for the repentent. Read what John the Baptist said - Matthew 3:10 & Luke 3:9.

Rom 6:23
For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Heb 9:27
It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.

Rom 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God.

For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

Does that sound like some were eternally chosen in the beginning without the need for repentance? Sin and repentance, I took the quiz. The OSAS do not want this blog, why not? The OSAS have had their blogs for about 5 years now. It's time for counterbalance, after all, I am on the side of CN. If we keep quiet, it will all go away. No it will not.

I've taken CN quizes, OSAS are not in agreement with them. And yet, with CN's liberty and freedom that encourages open minded discussions, they patiently allow that oppositional view to continue, year after year.
Why don't you want CN's view to be discussed here? You wish that it would be kicked to the curb. I know that repentance is necessary for a Christian's walk. The Bible says without it, you will fall short or possibly plunge into a perpetual freefall.
