No, but I can hear his, and he is very foolish and self-destructive.

Satan doesn't know your thoughts unless you speak them. God is all-knowing, but Satan is a created being, in no way equal to God.
He is not a mind-reader.

You all are looking at this from the wrong perspective "I say that with love" it is not about Satan & or a demon (reading your mind.)

The question is can they hear things in spirit? They are spirits, so when you are talking in your inner man isn't that in spirit? Totally changes things huuu :-)

Thoughts? No. Words? Yes. That is a reason to pray in tongues because it is a heavenly language that Satan cannot understand.

perhaps Satan should be more properly caste as that part of us that doesnt not love God and our neighbor, and stop speculating on hearing abilities.

Whisper * I once thought like Cynthia, but after hearing ''Placebo'' by Howard Pitman who went through a near death experience and experienced demons, and learned much about them.*

Basing your beliefs on a man who "claim" to have a near-death experience is a grave mistake my friend......

*My thoughts have now changed on the matter*

Your thoughts have now changed based on what a man saids not what the Holy Scriptures saids.......

**I am fully aware that Satan, and his demons telepathically are able to hear and know our thoughts.**

Completely false! From my own true experience with God and the powers of darkness, I can bet my life on it.

a christian will have demons whispering in your ear - Eph6:12.. our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Eph 6:16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Eph 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Cynthia is correct in this statement,"Satan cannot hear our thoughts because he is not Omniscient or Omnipotent. He learns about our weaknesses by observing us, watching us, "The statement is true and it is because of this that "familiar spirits" can fool those without knowledge. The people who go to sances and such.

He can know your thoughts by what you say and by what you do. Watching a person enables one to predict precisely what they are going to do or say next, because what comes out of their mouth and out of their actions, reveals what is in their thoughts and what is inside their heart.
---Eloy on 8/21/07

What Bible verses say that Satan can or cannot hear our thoughts? But he can surely make you believe in a lie.

How many times have you heard someone call out your name and when you turned no one was there? Or you thought someone tapped you on the shoulder to find no one behind you? Or you saw something one the corner of your eye, but nothing there? Spooky, eh? Satan can turn your fears against you. Fear is a thought that can lead to reality.

Satan cannot hear our thoughts because he is not Omniscient or Omnipotent. He learns about our weaknesses by observing us, watching us, in other words what is it that really gets under our skin so to speak. He is very crafty and very clever. Resist the devil and he will flee.He is a defeated foe, for He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.
---Cynthia on 8/20/07

Satan, and demons, cannot hear the thoughts of a person, even if they are inside that person, as even witches who changed discovered. Satan cannot produce a true thought in your head either. However, there is something Satan does where he speaks to a person's spirit in the first person, as if he was that person's heart or thoughts, making people hear dialogues that they assume are their thoughts, thereby controlling and havocking devastation on the victim. But he should be unable to do this to Christians.

greetings. Can you/anyone hear Satans thoughts? How can one seperate self thinking from Satan's thinking?
---earl on 8/20/07

Satan is very intelligent and experienced and powerful, yes, but he's not omnipotent or omniscient. He might be able to guess, but I really doubt if he can read or hear your thoughts.

CS Lewis had some words about this matter in SCREWTAPE LETTERS, which I suggest you read.

No, absolutely N..O, NO.

Moderator placed a demon quiz there for you to take, Joe. Demons can whisper, influence your own thoughts in your mind, and if you don't know how the serpent works, you might think it was your thoughts.
Only God knows the heart and thoughts of man.
Devil is a created being, he is not all knowing and he doesn't know your thoughts.

He is the one who can have us thinking the wrong things we think. So, he's NOT just "hearing" what we think selfishly > there is "the spirit who now

works in

the sons of disobedience", we have in Ephesians 2:2. So, his evil spirit works IN people, in our thinking what is selfish, and has us fooling ourselves into trusting wrong people and untrue information, I understand and offer.
