My Anger Against Satan

Yesterday while I was praying, I became very insistent I could say even angry. My anger was directed against satan for standing in the way of a healing that I knew I was entitled to. This morning my wife was astounded and reported she thinks a miracle has taken place. Comments

I can remember a similar time I had that much anger against the devil.
I had a boss that was using his power to coerce single women in my office, to hold his authority over their heads. It had been going on for 20 years. I was that angry driving to work, I asked for God's help to stop the devil from operating through this boss, 'right now, today'. That boss was moved within a few weeks, permanently. God intervened, the boss no longer could harrass women in the workplace.

Mima, I think that is an awesome report. Seems that these blogs turn into arguements allot when they do not need to. Jesus healed "all". Of course they asked him.He didn't ask them. Who knows the answer to why some are not healed? God does. There could be a myriad of explanations and not even about "entitlement". We get hung up on a word. Satan like that.:)

have you ever read ECC. 3:1-4 and Romans 5:1-5? Maybe this was the case?

Anger itself is a tool of Satan. Be very careful. The Devil can inflict misery, but cannot stand in God's way. Do not let him into your life in any way. Not in your thoughts, nor words, nor deeds.

Rickey, If we are "entitled" to healing here on earth, what about all the christians who are dying everyday because of illness? Is this because they just didn't "have enough faith"? Sometimes God chooses to bring a person home for complete healing instead of giving healing temporarily here on earth.

Rickey,
I agree...

Paul wasn't/never did call himself a sinner "IN CHRIST". He was referring to his old man. Read the very next verse. It shows that he was talking about the mercies of God that saved him because he used to be a sinner.

"IN CHRIST" no believer is consider a sinner or unrighteous.

Jack all I am saying, according to scripture, is that in God doesn't see us as sinners once we get saved. If He did then Christ's work wasn't enough to make us righteous.

2Corinthians 5:21 shows we are not sinners in Christ.
Just because a christian sins, doesn't make him or her a sinner/unsaved/unrighteous.

1John 1:8 isn't calling a christian a sinner. It's talking about a person denying his or her sin.

**No where in the bible does it say that a believer is a sinner or nonrighteous. **

Do you not have a complete Bible, Rickey?

Apparently 1 John 1:8 is not in your Bible.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Nor is 1 Timothy 1:15.

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

---1st_cliff -- the miracle was how quickly a wound(sore) on my foot was healing. This after several weeks of failing to heal. In my anger I told satan the Lord Jesus Christ had taken stripes on his back pay for my healing and I demanded that satan stop interfering with that healing.

YOU are NOT a sinner. No where in the bible does it say that a believer is a sinner or nonrighteous.

The bible shows that we are the righteousness of God in Christ, heirs of God & joint-heirs w/ Christ, kings, lords, priests, etc.

Every christian needs to see himself or herself the way God does.

We are equal with God. Meaning we are in God's class. We are not equal to Him.(Philippians 2:5, Psalm 8)

We were created a little lower than Eloheme.

Galatians 4:1 shows that as long as a christian doesn't know what is his he is like a servant. A servant only gets what is given. An heir knows what he has a right to & lays hold on it.

To find out what is your's you have to 2Timothy 2:15.

Tommy we, as believers, are entitled to everything that belongs to God & everything that belongs to Jesus.(Romans 8:17)

Healing is one of the many things we are entitled to.(Psalm 103:3, Matthew 8:17, 2Corinthians 5:21, 1Peter 2:24)
---Rickey on 8/24/07

I agree 100% with Tommy.
Mima ... Even Jesus, when praying to His Father, said "Nevertheless, Thy will be done, not mine"
Who could possibly have more entitlement than Jesus? Certainly none of us.
---alan_of_UK on 8/23/07

Mima, What was the "miracle?"
---1st_cliff on 8/22/07

First of all, Mima, who says you are "entitled" to ANY healings? God doesn't promise us everything will go our way while on this earth and in this life. None of us are entitled to anything. Besides, what ever happened to "Thy will be done?"
