Ask God continuously for His power, His courage, His wisdom, His strength. And depend on God for these things. When the time comes He will give them to you. This is the best advice that I can give. Actually, we need all God can give us from the moment that you wake up in the mornings. So ask.

I don't want to be treated like royalty - I settle for good neighbors and a few friends.
1) He makes it fain on the just as well as the unjust

2) judgment starts at the house of God

I always thought He was holding back His judgment on us so that the unrighteous could be made righteous

He desires mercy

"How should a christian stand up for their faith in such an anti-christian world?"

By loving your neighbor. Doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. By allowing ones mind to be filled with thoughts and tendencies that inclines one towards that which is uplifting, edifying and beneficial to all the Father brings into ones path. Whatsoever things are true, righteous, just and pure, If there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things. Have faith in God.

Well, the facts are it is the true believers the reason why God is allowing this old world to keep on spinning. If unbelievers really believed this the true believers would be treated like royalty. [God came into His own world and the world would not receive Him]. They killed Him.

catherine - you would be safer in the US in a prison then as a Christian in most of the countries I named.
We are not persecuted in this country. We may be made to feel a little uncomfortable (so what).

Staying faithful to God. This country is becoming the biggest hypocrite in the WORLD. We preach to other nations about human rights yet, good people, God's people, are being thrown in jail for condemning sin, of all things. For praising God and for preaching. Oh what crimes! We have absolutely no right to point fingers at other nations and their Governments when we have a bunch of LUNATICS running things in this country. We are going to go down in history as being known as a bunch of NOTHINGS.

I was saved into a family of atheists - I thought it was difficult to share my faith and when i began to live my faith I was sharing it.
Even atheists want prayer for their troubles.
But we in this country do not know what it is like in a muslim country or China orN.Korea - its horrible. We have no basis to complain and are without excuse.
If we deny Him - He will deny us.

I witness verbally when an opportunity arises meaning that the Holy Spirit prompts me that a person is ripe. Otherwise, I speak freely with words like "Praise God" or " Lord did a wonderfull thing yesterday" ,in my conversations and try to live a Godly lifestyle without putting anyone down. I love people genuinely and I believe that too helps because many seem to want to talk about God.

A Christian should live a holy, sanctified life, stay in the Word, pray unceasingly, and love sinners so much they want to know Jesus.

The problem is not the anti-Christian world, that was prophesied by Jesus. The problem is Christians not living for Him. If we love like He did, they will want what we have, JESUS.

All u can do is pray and let the Holy Ghost guide u to what to say, even Jesus said don't be afraid to speak for I will give u the words to speak. And it is up to them to believe it or not and just keep praying for them.
