Alan: I'm no predestinationalist. God has promised not to allow the oceans to breach their boundaries. I expect Him to keep His promise.

We have only had records for the last 200 or so years. In that time we have not had time for many cycles of weather, but in the Middle Ages there was actually a period of warming noticed by many people and written about. Then, these same globalists claim that the world is billions of years old, so that is a tiny fraction of the time in their own version of history. They are terribly bad at putting together all their hoaxes so that they fit.

As far as I know there is nothing in the Bible about global warming. I think the earth goes through natural cycles and warming and cooling. ANYWAY, as Christians, we know that the earth isn't going to be destroyed by man...it's going to be destroyed (and made anew) by God. So I wouldn't worry about it. Although, we are stewards of this earth and should take care of it.

jerry ... I was responding not just to your post but to other predestinionalist ones elsewhere, which indicate God decides everything that happens. I thoughy you were putting forward this view,so was challenging it.

Alan: I thought you had more integrity than that. Yes, man has the ability to kill people, but not the power to alter the earth's climate, nor change the level of its seas. We are currently killing millions of people worldwide by prohibiting the use of DDT to prevent malaria and turning our corn into fuel while others starve. This environmental madness is the greatest plague of all time, and yes, it's man made.

Yes, it is another hoax of the NWO, to bring you in line with many rules. This will affect small and medium sized businesses and encourage the large ones because there will be less and less competition. It is all for the illuminati power to be consolidated. This is to bring on a deliberate famine. Don't worry, God can provide. The NWO specializes in inventing enemies to protect us from. In fact they are the biggest enemy to humanity.

Jerry ... Do you really beleive that man is not responsible for anything?
Does God command the murderer to murder, the rapist to rape, the liar to lie?
Not MY God!

Rev. 16:8.9 seared by the sun's heat.
---dan on 5/17/08

Yes, the Global Warming Hoax is anti-God! It arrogantly exclaims that man, rather than God, is in control of this planet, and can create and alter the earth's climate. It defiantly contradicts God's promise in Gen 9:11 and in Job 28 that a flood will never again destroy the earth or the waves of the sea breach their boundaries. It is scientifically bankrupt, and is a mere political scare tactic to wrest power from the people and give more to government. It is destroying our economy.

Hi Cynthia :) I don't understand why anyone would say global warming is "un-biblical"--it's just a sad scientific observation caused by our ignorance and abuse of the planet over the years. Sad but true, I think.

Revelation 16:9?

I believe the bible does discuss global warming. The current earth is reserved for a baptism of fire. When the earth is batized in fire the globe will be very warm.

We can clean up after ourselves. More importantly - if 'GW' is just natural - there is nothing we can do.

BUT if the majority of people think that we need to clean up our environment we would be a better testimony of Christ's love for them if we considered their concerns.
Especially when there is no taking it back-

be good stewards of this planet but be better stewards of HIS Word.

global warming is against the bible? in what magical way is that?
---alexia on 9/10/07

Natural Events are mentioned in the Bible but not the natural phenomena of normal cyclical climate changes. There is virtually nothing Man to do to cause or prevent these natural occurrences. These are just periodic changes that occurs. We are cutting down a lot of rainforest and producing fluorocarbons that some what effect the ozone layer but the over all effect on global warning as compared to natural occurrences is stistically insignificant.

The Bible talks about earthquakes, and other natural disasters, but does NOT mention global warming. The is against the Bible.
