Who Is Your Spiritual Mentor
I heard the most beautiful teaching yesterday - at least it finally touched me-
every breath you breath will be on this earth as long as the earth is here.
Every breath Jesus breathed is still on this earth and we breath it too
We actually breath in His breath - isn't that a wonderful thought
Jhn 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Andrea (and anyone else who knows), where in the bible does it say 'spare the rod spoil the child'? Is it worded exactly like that? I have done several searches and cannot find it although I know that the sentiment of those words is there somewhere.

My main mentor is my friend, Ruth. She and I taught Junior High Sunday School together one year, and she has been guiding me and teaching me, and pointing me to the Lord and Scriptures ever since. She moved away years ago, but we keep in touch by phone and e-mail. She is an awesome example of a Godly woman.

Wayne Monbleau -best Christian pastor on radio. Wow this guy teaches - changed my life - lifted me out of Mormonism and taught me how to read the word. To look at it as a guide a tool to benefit me not destroy me.
example - spare the rod spoil the child
this does not mean spank your kids - a sheperd prods the sheep - guiding them on the correct path. And if a sheep won't take correction the shepherd may have to break its leg and then carry it till it learns the correct path. Beautiful!
