Eph.6:10-18 tells us that we need to be concerned with putting on the whole armor of God. Do that and the evil forces and powers will run. Don't be concerned with what they are or who they are. Be concerned about being everything you are in Christ and following His example. The rest will fall into place.

Donna I applaud you, and admire your position standing in the gap in intercession for friends and family who have no realization that a spiritual battle is raging, and is MORE dangerous then a physical battle because it not only deals with their own soul but their very neighbors, God said and another commandment I give unto you that you love one another, but people could care less, when someones house is burning down with them in it, on way to hell. No care.

Donna, good for you for praying for your friends and others, it is the proper Christian thing to do. As for why they are not crying out - if they knew to do that, they would know that they were in danger and repent. Alas, the Devil is hard at work prowling the world and seeking whom he may devour - by inspiring people to rationalize away the idea of sin and making them believe that momentary happiness is a good sign.

Donna P2: We are called to work out our salvation with fear in trembling for that is the sign that God is at work in you. See Philippians 2:12-13. This is not a sign that it is hard or that Jesus is finicky, but rather that by grace we are more aware of sin and feel the urge to flee from it.

Many receive this grace, but allow it to weaken by ignoring it and seeking earthly comforts. They rationalize sin and put off good works.

Whisper, while most of my Christian friends are out having fun, doing things, running around shopping, etc., I am home interceding in the Spirit ALOT. I take on the burdens of hurting people and unsaved people who won't repent. It's not fun having to spend every waking moment praying for people who won't repent, are living in sin and calling themselves Christians. Why aren't people crying out for help themselves?

Yes, there certainly are many Michelles.
I'm been here a long time.

Michelle, who believes the Holy Spirit is equal to the Father and Son in every way.

First of all, I think there are a lot of Michelle's posting on this blog so I am going to go by MichelleS now.
I believe in the Trinity too but I don't think I am the Michelle you were referring to unless you have read my other blogs.
My answer- look out for anything that is opposite of God but don't go on a hunt for it. Stand watch yes, but search it out- no. Keep your heart focused on the Lord and believe me, he will warn you.

Lynn, I want to thankyou for your comment on this, because I think that their are so many people hurting today, going through their life tormented and crushed and in despair even to the point of suicide while complacent Christians passing by never delivering them or praying for them, abuse, killings are on the rise, because of these scantily clad sleep walking Christians never realizing, that we are in a major battle in this end time generation, where are Gods Warriors?

Actually, Pigs in the Parlor is an excellent book to read. We should know the tactics of our enemy, just not be obsessed with it. There are zillions of unseen works of unclean spirits, read the book I just recommended. Resist the devil and he will flee, but sumbit yourself to God first (by praying and fasting).

Mary, a Christian can become unbalanced with too much emphasis on what the devil is up to.
We need to know how to fight the good fight, but not allow spiritual warfare to control our walk.

The Michelle who believes in the Trinity - the Holy Spirit is equal to the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit - not an essence, influence or atmosphere - but equal in the Godhead.

Hi Michelle, I personally agree the most with you of anyone here. I think you're absolutely right--our focus needs to be Jesus, besides, doesn't it say in Phillipians about "whatever is good, whatever is lovely"?

You shouldn't be concentrating on any of them.
Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. ...
You mind and heart should be with Jesus Christ.
If you focus on demons hiding behind bushes, everywhere you look - the enemy will use your mind as a battlefield. Renew your mind with the Word of God and the realm of unclean spirits and demons will not dominate your thoughts.

A Christian doesn't need to concern themselves with the names of demons. You only need to know the One with the Name ~ Jesus Christ, the Name above all other names and principalities. If you know Jesus, you have nothing to fear from the realm of unclean spirits and demons. In the Name of Jesus, you can cast out 'unclean spirits that you are aware of'.

Ephesians 6:12, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. It is satan who heads up his demonic forces.
Principalities= demons who have the oversight of nations
Powers= demons waiting to pocess human beings
rulers of darkness= demons who have charge of satan's worldly business
Spiritual wickedness= demons in the heavenlies who have charge of religion.
